Shocking pronunciation and even a few course names spelt incorrectly. And, they forgot Metropolitan. Still, some awesomely good courses in our part of the world.
Have played moonah several times , great course . Also have played Victoria numerous times , one of my favorites . But so many other great sand belt courses in Melbourne you missed ⛳️🏌️♀️⛳️🏌️♀️⛳️
Good vid indeed .I enjoyed it very much but most of these courses are unaffordable for many of us …..I won't comment on the rankings .. However , I live in Tasmania and a keen golfer …We have about 70 golf courses in our State scattered in every part of the State …One of these days someone is going to discover Tassie as a golf paradise .. There is , Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes on King Island that is actually part of Tasmania as one of the 300 islands that make up the whole of Tassie , there is Barnbougle and Lost Farm on the 'mainland' of Tassie but there is also Tasmania Golf Club , Royal Hobart , Kingston Beach , Claremont , North West Bay , Kings Meadows (Launceston) , Riverside , Mowbray , Casino , Devonport , Ulverstone , Thirlstane etc etc …And many , many 9 holes or 9 holes and 18 tees courses that can be enjoyed for a pittance and almost any time .. Our own local course is 5300 yards , Par 67 and 18 different tees ..One par 5 , eleven par fours ( between 270 yards to 440 yards) and six par threes between 101 yards and 214 yards .. A round if visiting costs you $10 for the day or $20 for a week …not a mis-print. Annual membership is …get this…. $70 and it's a lawn bowls club as well with an 8 rink bowls green . We have an extensive bar for patrons , can do functions and the course is overlooked by St.Patricks Head , Mt. Elephant and South Sister and is literally right in the township of St. Marys (around 1000 people) ..There are lots of small courses like ours that never get a look in and should do .. Tassie has golf in it's DNA and if you look Ratho Farm in the southern portion of the State is the oldest golf course in the world outside of Scotland . It's 200 years old this year I believe …ONE DAY….A golf trip to Tasmania to play many of the unknown gems we have might happen…Perhaps …Cheers …
Hamilton Island Queensland Australia is one of the best!
Barnbougle is simply awesome.
