Been playing all my life but took a few years off to get my life together around 2018-2022. I've been stuck in the mid to low 80s all year. Wednesday I needed to par the last for 78 and put two in the water. Yesterday I was in the exact same position and finished with a birdie. Felt pretty damn good to finally break 80 for the first time in ten years.
Took my wife out to the movies last night with my Nassau winnings. This is how it felt.

lol always laugh to myself when I get home from golfing. My wife knows to ask how I played and listen to me for like 5 mins. If she doesn’t ask I sulk around like a child who lost their toy. Good round buddy
If your wife knew how hard it was, she would have bought. Congrats!!
I have proclaimed to my family (wife and 9 year old) that when my handicap gets to scratch I’m going to buy us the most expensive ice cream cake at the boutique ice cream shop in town. They are very interested (and then disappointed) in my rounds after I play.
Me wondering why you would do that to Bottas
I needed a par to break 80 for the first time ever today. So, of course, I threw away my conservative gameplay that got me to that point, got under my drive, and hit it into a fairway bunker. Out of thay fairway bunker and right into the next. Managed to save bogey. Next time.

If it were me everybody in that room would know even if they didn’t care lol
I am so close to breaking 80 I can taste it.
“Wow, 77 sounds good babe! Don’t forget the trash comes in the morning.”
