The DP World Tour’s 2025 Race to Dubai season continues this week with the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, taking place at The Belfry from August 21-24, 2025.

The $3.5 million tournament sits in a key position on the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai, marking the start of the Back 9 and the end of the qualification period for Team Europe, providing players with one final opportunity to earn an automatic spot on Luke Donald’s team for the Ryder Cup.

The field for the 2025 Betfred British Masters is shaping up to be a real treat, with 2022 U.S. Open Champion Matt Fitzpatrick being joined by defending champion Niklas Nørgaard, Ryder Cup Captain Donald, and U.S. Team Vice Captain Brandt Snedeker, who makes his debut in the event. Five-time DP World Tour winner Matt Wallace, Danish twins Nicolai and Rasmus Højgaard, BMW International Open winner Dan Brown and 2016 Masters Champion Danny Willett, who is a former host of this event, will also return to The Belfry’s famed Brabazon Course.

The Betfred British Masters has a rich legacy as one of the DP World Tour’s most historic events. This year’s tournament will be the DP World Tour’s 22nd event held at The Belfry, with the Sutton Coldfield venue first hosting the Lada English Golf Classic, won by the late Seve Ballesteros in 1979.

The prize money for the 2025 British Masters is $3.5m, the same as the purse for the 2024 & 2023 tournaments. The champion will take home a cheque worth nearly $600k.

Check back here on Sunday to see who claims the winner’s share of the prize fund.
