PARKERSBURG – The Worthington Women’s Golf Association has announced winners of the July games at the August business meeting.
July weather once again played havoc with golfing schedules with only three of five regular Tuesday playdates being playable.
July 18-hole play winners were Carol Geletko, Lori Butler, Mary Ingram, Nancy Meredith, Mary Lopez, Charlene Stilgenbauer, Jeanne Chalfant and Debbie Full,
Winners from the nine-hole players were Coleen Wittig, Ellen Knotts, Judy Langkamer, Jan Wittman, Brenda Morton, Sandy Perrine, Barb Hupp, Sherry Crutchfield, and Ronda Ketchum
Knotts, chairwoman of the association, said the regular season league play will conclude Aug. 26 with the annual league scramble scheduled on Sept. 2. The tournament to determine the 2025 League Champion will be played Sept. 9 and 16 with Sept. 23 scheduled as a rain date
The final business meeting of the season will be held on Sept. 2. Officers will be selected for the 2026 Executive Board for 2026.
