It’s not a shot to tickle. I think you could be right, Jamie. We had a little look at the club head there. I think it is a wedge. Just going to head in pitching wedge. It is indeed. Good call and good shot. Oh, great shot actually. Wow. any good. No problem at all. Dead straight the line. Dead straight the puck. Really good up and down from Ben. Now, here’s the winner of the BMW Australian PGA Championship, Elvis Smiley. Oh, wow. [Applause] And we will pick it up with Rasmus’ twin brother, Nikolai, who’s got a birdie part here at the par five, sixth. Yes. Just like his brother Raasmus came here to make a statement obviously to Luke Donald that his form was good and he’s bubbling under the surface. It hasn’t been a brilliant week for him. So, what did he learn? What did he learn? What did he learn? He learned everything. Oh, he’s on fire. He’s projected to move from 146th in the rankings as he knocks another one in tight there to into the top 100. Here’s the fin Oliver Lindell. Great pin position at the par 3 fifth today there. And that’s Lindell having a great season. Super consistent. Uh, that’s his first birdie of the day. Well done to him. Moving in the right direction. Got it. Well, well, well. This is mighty impressive, isn’t it, from Rasmosy? They nearly missed the green with the pin position as well when they set it over on that right side. This surely not. Oh, right hand doing what? Right. Does you just never know what he’s going to come up with. What was that? 65 ft. Up ahead. Ben Schmidt’s third. Yeah. Looking to miss that bunker because it’s an easier pitch than a long bunker shot. And he’s played a beauty. And the good thing is for Ben Schmidt, he’s kept it under the hole. Pace is good. Yeah, great try. Super pot. The chip shot. The chip shot. He really needed to be really cute on it and he was having none of that. And it is going to be the first drop shot today for Raasmas. [Applause] All right. Has had a mixed bag today. A mixed Oh, another one. My goodness me. Now, now we heard a big cheer. It was either for Jamie walking up to that sixth green or maybe just maybe for Lucas Burgle. What a run. Remember he doubled the third. He has come back with that little run of Birdie Birdie Eagle at 67 and eight. Lovely stuff and more great memories from his national championship for Lucas Burgle. And now Ben Schmidt has been very solid today. And that continues. Beautiful birdie at seven for Ben. And now he is in a tie for third at 12. And he’s five behind. Very upright, isn’t he? Not a lot of flexing the knees. And he’s very much inside on the way back. And he’s played that really well. Look at that superb touch. Now Matt Eager has a birdie putt at 10. How about that? Lovely stuff. And that is just the second birdie today on that very challenging par four. Is he two under par today? He’s part 10 and 11. Oh, hello. Hello. [Applause] Oh my. That is the ugliest double bogey you could possibly imagine. He was four ahead four holes ago and he’s going to be tied for the lead. The worst thing is Tony he as I he talked about this oppressive pressure and he he said honestly in his interview yesterday this won’t be fun today because the weight of expectation for him pen is almost freewheing compared to that Chris Wood. Oh, this is a lovely story here. Smith bailed out on the T-shot miles right into the jungle and he got lucky. And he got lucky and that is his fourth of the week. One shot behind Ben Schmidt. Could be one of those moments in the round and that was it that was just weak. You know, he’s just he’s he’s lost his mojo, hasn’t he? Yeah, he’s kind of at the moment, and I say at the moment because it can change very quickly in the game. He’s melted in the heat, hasn’t he? Yeah, he has, unfortunately. Well, Christopher Wright needs a very strong finish if he’s going to win for the second time this season. But don’t bet against it. When he warms the putter up like that, he can hold anything. That bird takes him to 10 under power. He’s four off the lead. Up to the green, Michael Lindberg, who has one birdie on the card so far. All the rest are pars two birdies. And Lindberg, as we said, is another player down the rankings. 170th on the race to Dubai coming into this week. Currently projected after that birdie at 130. Great pot. Great pat. Oh my goodness me. How about that? And now the tables have turned. Tony wage. He’s down a little bit, but he’s got to ignore that. He’s just going to try and stiff it. holding the pose. That’s what he needed. I’ll pity about the the suction. Just make sure you get it there. Oh, he’s done it. He’s done it. That is exactly what he needed. Stuck with his game plan off the tea. He knew a three could put pressure on. Brilliant stuff, Rasmus. Brilliant stuff. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. That was just a major unforced error. What a pity. Holes running out for the rest. Let’s go to DeLo at 16. Good drive. Don’t get greedy. Get greedy. Well, well, well. First dropped shot today for Marco Pen. So he is back at 14 under. An opportunity now for Rasmus Hoya. Huge huge opportunity. Now there is a golf shot. There is the shot of a champion perhaps. Fantastic. [Applause] [Music] He’s got it. What a pop from Raasmus Hygar. [Applause] Now that shows some guts, doesn’t it? It’s a birdie birdie finish for Marco Pench. And it’s he and not Rasmatoyard who wins here in Denmark. It is a second victory of the season for this talented Englishman. Marco, congratulations. Your second DP World Tour win, your second this year. I imagine the second feels as sweet as the first, does it? Yeah. Um, you know, I’ve been playing been playing so well this year. um you know after coming back from my time off to have won so soon and then to have achieved what I’ve achieved since I won. Um you know my main goal after I won was to make sure I don’t get complacent and drop off basically. So you know my team have been massive support to me. Um my family everyone involved really it’s uh made me keep striving for more and uh yeah this is amazing. And Rasmus, I mean, he’s some player, you know, to hit the shot he hit into the last air and make eagle and basically make me have to win it. It was uh yeah, unbelievable. How fun was the fight back? Because halfway through the front nine, you were four shots back. How much fun did you have and how stressful was it? To be fair, I felt calm all day. I was just playing me own game really. Uh my goal today was to hit as many greens as I could and try and shoot a bogey free round. Um, you know, Rasmus started off unbelievable and it was kind of like Linnel like he’s really put his foot down here and all of a sudden I was four behind. But I knew what this what this back n was like and uh I’m sure he was aware of that as well. So, you know, we both were pushing as much as we could basically and uh you know I was I was the winner in the at the end of the day but he um yeah I’ve loved every minute of playing two rounds of golf with him. Your second win comes at a useful time in the season, doesn’t it? Will you be hoping that Luke Donald was perhaps watching that? Yeah, I mean, you know, that’s the reason why I’m here. Um, and I’m planning to play five, six weeks on the trot and give give it my all to, you know, try and do something. But yeah, I’ve got my own little goals in my mind and my own drivers and um yeah, I’m just trying to play as well as I can every week and see what happens. Really, Marco? It was a superb performance and brilliant to watch. Well done. Go and enjoy your second win on the DP World Tour. Thank you very much. Thank you. Congratulations. Well done. Well done. Go on Marco .. my wildcard pick
Very confusing highlights.
All that work and 1 person claps when you lift the trophy. Denmark is a classy act.
I don't think I would have enjoyed this day at Furesø as a Danish spectator. The home favourite is leading, increases his lead on the front nine, then makes a handful of horrible mistakes, at the very end gets back in the lead with an eagle – and ultimately loses by one stroke. It can't be anymore frustrating for the home fans. But Penge is good.
Did the DP Tour bring in the PGA continuity editor for a guest appearance 😂😂😂
Rasmus not giving the best under pressure performance to showcase Ryder Cup selection
I really feel bad for Rasmus… 😢
But Penge also played well 👏
Penge is about to take off to Bethpage…Rasmus is on the tarmack…still a couple of weeks for him though, with big events coming up soon on the DP tour
Rasmus blew it.dont pick for ryder cup
very poor summary of the final day
This is like a junior tour compared to the tournaments in the US.
Well done Marco, that was an amazing win, to be 4 shots back and still win, it was a fantastic week of golf from you. You have been one of the most consistent players on the tour this season, I really hope you make the Ryder Cup team, cos you deserve a place. Your mate Matt Fryer will also be very happy with your win.
