A light single engine aircraft has made an emergency landing at Mona Vale Golf course this afternoon, 17 August.

There appears to be no major injuries.

Cal Nicholls, who is at the scene, reports no major injuries but says the pilot, who is in training, has face lacerations. He says he and his partner, a doctor, provided first aid until paramedics arrived.

Paramedics confirm they have treated two men in their 50s after a forced landing and that they have both been taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for Assessment.

Police say the matter is now with Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB).

THE ATSB confirmed the plane is a Piper Cherokee being flown by a flight instructor and student. There was reported engine trouble, which is yet to be verified.
