What is up everybody? Welcome to Grind Time, a fantasy football world championship podcast, a full-time fantasy podcast. And as usual, I am your host, Adam Krauturst. Tonight we’re doing a Circle Las Vegas Midstakes Championship uh for grind time three. Uh we got some fresh meat in this draft tonight. Uh for those of you who don’t know, this is a mid-stakes draft. $350 entry fee and the grand prize is $50,000. Kind of a kind of a warmup for the fantasy football world championships. Uh the big the big stakes drafts and uh and so I like I like to see that we got some fresh meat in here tonight. Excited about that for sure. Um and I I’ll go through the contestants here in a second. um the people the people trying to win this this bad boy but of course I had the fourth pick for the 90th time and for the 90th time I take city land but we will we will get right into that but let’s talk about the contestants tonight fragile egos is Chris Janice grind time is myself Adam Krautworth’s chill zone is Curtis Hills team Bailey Matthew Bailey former champion uh found it rock frost bolt pride is Jose Ramos team Mitchell is Mark Mitchell Um, the 15-hour elliptic goer is Royce Scobby. Just win baby for Joseph Sullivan. The fantasy cure Ray Cowart. Team Torres is Francisco Torres. And team Dodgers is William Meyer. So, there are some fresh faces in here, some oldtimers. And, uh, I’m excited. Ready to go here. Um, I’m excited for for Vegas, guys. I’m ready to I’m ready to roll. I’ll see you guys all out in Vegas in a couple weeks. For those of you who don’t know or have never been to Vegas uh for the fantasy football world championships, it’s the best event in fantasy football. You come come out there, draft with the best players in in the world, compete for $150,000. They got high stakes, they got midstakes events. Um if you want to get the free Sunday viewing party at the circa, which is the best place in the world to watch it by the pools in the owner suite, you have to draft live in Vegas. Thursday night viewing party sat uh Friday night viewing party for both the Thursday and Friday night games. And uh again, those are at the circa uh the the sports book on Thursday night. Incredible uh open bar, all you can eat uh in the circa. Uh amazing amazing time. Um, excited about that. Excited about that. Let me drop this draft board down here real quick and see what’s going on here. They’re just working on some picks here. So, really excited. Excited about tonight, too, guys. I’ll probably go about 10 rounds, probably go about an hour. This this bad boy get into the kind of the meat and potatoes here. But, found it starts off with Jamar Chase. And also, for those of you guys who don’t know, this is a uh the starting lineup requirements are one running back, two receivers, sorry, one quarterback, two running backs, three receivers, two flex, so you can start up. So, you can start a running back, tight end, or receiver at flex. You can start up to five receivers or up to four running backs, and then um tight end, kicker, defense. So, that’s how that goes. So, you’re going to see uh receivers come off the board really early in these FFWC drafts. Um, so found it takes Jamar Chase right right out of the gate, wide receiver there. Uh, Bejian Robinson to to chill zone. That’s usually been the top two. Sometimes Gibbs goes second there, but this time it is Bejan. Fine. Don’t have a problem with either one. Jody Smith for uh, Fulltime did a great article on like the running backs that have the best chance uh, historically speaking to lead the league in rushing. and it’s, you know, guys between the ages of, you know, 24 and 26, um, in certain offenses, stuff, stuff like that. So, go on the website, check that out over at Fulltime Fantasy. Bejian fits into that and Jir Gibbs fits into those those molds here, too. So, two good picks there at two and three. I would have taken any one of those three guys had they have dropped. Um, so I go with CD Lamb at four. I have Lamb as my number two receiver. Um, you know, between Lamb and Jefferson. Jefferson hasn’t played in like over two weeks. I know it’s early, but he’s been had a hamster injury for over two weeks now. And uh also, I think the Cowboys offense uh with the new coordinator there, uh good schedule, good weather, playing in a dome, they could throw a hundred more times than the Vikings can. So, not that they don’t play in a dome also, but I think the offense is going to run more plays. They could throw 100 more times which could give Lamb a ton more targets. He was the wide receiver won two years ago having a monster year. So, uh I’m fine with CD Lamb there. Doesn’t he doesn’t have a nagging injury right now. I think Pickkins helps him. Um all right. Team Jers goes Gus McAffrey and yes, always smooth. Says CMC is really moving up the draft board. Yes, he is. Uh he’s been moving up for a while now. I think people we’re getting in that time of year where okay, he’s healthy and every time McAffrey is healthy, he’s the he’s the RB1 in points per game. I think he’s the RB1 in points per game like ever for fantasy running backs. So, um you know, you’re shooting for the moon on these, right? This is a tournament. You’re here to win $50,000. So, in order to do that, you got to pick studs. You got to smash. And so, you know, uh win or go home. Don’t don’t pick scared. All those things. So, hey, go go go go Chris McAfe. He’s not going to be there in round two for Dodgers. So, pull the trigger and when McAffrey is healthy, uh, you’re gonna have a stud. Um, T Mitchell goes Jefferson, fine. Wide receiver three. The injury bothers me a little bit. Uh, but I think he’ll be fine come uh come regular season. There are some questions. You know, basically a rookie quarterback. When Addison comes back, how much will he siphon? You got Hawin, a healthy Hawinson. So, I think he’s in the top five for sure. Uh Barkley to Bolt Pride. Um fine pick there. Still got to get your three receivers. So it’s hard to start RB first. Barkley might be one of those guys that it’s like, hey, um you know, are we just overthinking it? Should Barkley be the 101? Uh but he had 500 touches low last year. And again, the historical data shows that running backs that have over I think it’s 370 or something the following year. Jody puts that in his running back article. Also, uh the f the following year those running backs severely drop off whether it’s um because they were o were overworked or because they they get injured or because the offense isn’t as efficient or whatever. Um I think Berkeley will be fine, but again he has he has an injury history too. So, we’ll see how that goes. Essen Genty kind of going ahead of ADP here. Um to just to just win baby take taking Genty there. Uh interesting pick. Usually he goes behind Achan a little bit. And then Neighbors who’s also had had a kind of a nagging toe injury go on to team Torres. Uh Fragile Egos takes Brian Thomas Jr. who’s uh word out of camp and everything is he’s been awesome. And then we got Brown here. Chase Chase Brown. That’s probably the highest I’ve ever seen him go. Goes to 111 um to the fantasy cure there. I mean, it’s it’s go go get your guy. He probably would have been there at the 2011 unless you know something about Bailey that I don’t know, but I don’t think Bailey would have taken him at the one two turn. Um, listen, again, if it’s your if it’s your only draft you’re going to do, um, then it’s okay to take your guy, but I think if you’re going to do a bunch a bunch of drafts, it’s better to just take guys at ADP or when they fall because, you know, if you pick it at fourth overall, you could probably get him coming back or fifth or sixth or something. But yeah, Scott says Chase Brown’s a firstrounder. He might be. I mean, he’s he’s healthy. He’s a solid back. He’s in an explosive offense with a quarterback that doesn’t run. So, he’s gonna get all the checkdowns. He’s gonna get all all the carries. I really like Chase Brown this year, but over Derk Henry, over again, you got to start with the three receivers. Nico Collins could be the wide receiver one this year. So, again, I like Chase Brown, but I think he could have got him with the second pick. Um, so yeah, uh, interesting start there. Fine. Chase Brown, Derrick Henry, team Bailey goes Nico Drake London. Double click there. the the receivers. We’ll see what people do coming back here. But Gent’s interesting, too, for just win baby. You know, the offense is going to be fast playing with Chip Kelly. Um and it’s going to lean heavily on on him as a running back. You know, um I do like the the Raiders offense this year. There’s just a little bit of the unknown with a rookie running back. You know, we’ve had rookie running backs fail before. Shoot, Bian Robinson failed as a rookie because the coach wouldn’t give him the freaking ball, you know. So, there’s all these different reasons. Um, but he’ll probably be a f a fine pick at the 108. Um, so yeah, F, uh, team 11 double taps running back, which is interesting. It’s going to be hard to do to get those three good good receivers in there, but we’ll see how that how that works out. Um, you got to be you got to get kind of lucky there to have the three receivers you want. running back heavy draft tonight, folks. Then Bucky Irving, it’ll be nine. We have 10 running backs and seven receivers off the board. Never thought I’d see it. Never thought I’d see it. Ray Ray’s not scared. Ray’s not scared. Give them all the receivers. Take them all. I’m on Rafa Falls all the way to Bolt Pride. Probably ecstatic about that. I wonder how many Barkley Wonder how many Barkley I’m in Ros Brown stacks we have so far in this tournament. So that’ll be interesting to see. So I’m up in a couple picks here. Puka. Gosh, I’m not even look I’m not even looking at the available players. That’s crazy. I mean he’s got his injury issues and then he’s got Matt Stafford who went into a who might have froze his back. Might have froze his back out there. You’re on the clock. Cool. Go. So, we got two pick, one pick until it’s me. Let’s see what we got at running back here. Nothing crazy. See what we got at receiver here. All right. Oh, Lad Man goes off the board. I’m gonna go with a guy who I love. Uh, I’m gonna go with AJ AJ Brown. Dealing with some injuries himself, but I think he’ll be good when this season roll rolls around. Uh, so just double tap receiver there. AJ Brown, wide receiver 11. Fine. The wide receiver 11 isn’t even the crazy part because it’s usually about where he goes. He’ll go ahead of Makakei sometimes ahead of London. But to get him in the back half of the second’s interesting all those running backs going ahead of him there. But man, that Jefferson Pukanakua started sick. Mitchell’s team Mitchell’s got to be excited about about that. That’s wild. Oh, I don’t I don’t I don’t I don’t sort by ADP, Scott. I know what I’m doing here. Okay, there. Happy. All right, I’m picking I’m pick I’m picking blindfolded at this point. All right, Brock Bowers, great pick. Brock Bowers would have been my pick if AJ Brown was was gone. I like having that elite tight end to kind of lead your team. You want those guys in the three-week race at the end of the season playing for all the money. You want those outlier type players that can absolutely smash um that can absolutely smash and crush it for teams. Uh score a ton of points there at at the end. Um some other cool features here. They have the premium features. This is the ADP board. So it’ll show me the ADP board and like who’s been taken and who I got. So I got lamb here. Let me let me share this tab instead here. Here’s the ADP board. So it shows the guys who have been taken what position what positions are that they play there color coordinated AJ Brown Lamb the other guys I got so they’re kind of like there so you can see like Mike Evans just went his ADP is 310 he just went so it takes him off the board here and kind of shows me where the value is for some of these guys. So we we can we can even leave it on that there too. I’m up in I’m on deck here. So that’s a that’s a really cool feature there. You’re on the clock. Um, let me share this tab instead. We’ll get back to that as I’m on the clock. So, T Higgins goes an interesting decision here. So, I don’t have a lot of Amari and Hampton yet. And I think I want to get some shares. So, it could be Hampton. It could be I don’t really love love the receivers. I do like Garrett Wilson and the Adams, but I’ve got plenty of shares of them. I could go McBride, but I’m gonna get my first I think I’m gonna get my first Amarian Hampton share in the midstakes. I’m going to go ahead and grab him there. Um, all right. So, word on the street is, you know, you still got the injured in Naji Harris. The guy’s like walking around with his helmet on. Um, and so Hampton could certainly finish, you know, as an RB. He’s going to start slow. They’ve already Harbaugh has already said that he’s going to kind of ease him in anyways, but um again I I’ve done so many of these that I’m trying to get different shares of of players. Um so he might not be like if this was my only draft I would not have taken Marin Hampton, but I do want to get my shares of guys uh for sure. So um but listen, the Chargers want to run the ball. He can run it. He can catch it. He’s a stud. and and you know, you just see guys like this, they just start to lean on them in the second half of the year and they just explode. You know, the Chargers are going to beat be in games and be fighting for a playoff spot, fighting for seating. So, uh really interesting how this is unfolding. All right, let’s show some of the other features we have here. Let’s see what else we got to show you guys here. We got the ADP list. This is a really cool feature, too. All right, this shows like the ADP list of all the players. The red means that they’re that they’re gone. So this is overall. You can sort by quarterback, running back, receiver. So again, you can have all these charts up, all these tabs up and you can really this is how you kind of find with the values of certain certain players. This is all premium features. No other website has this guys. No other none of the other high stakes websites, not no one else is is is giving you this type of information. So, this is really cool stuff. Um, so kudos to Fantasy Football World Championship and fulltime for doing that for sure. Um, yeah, like like Scott said, Bowers lasted the other night until the 312. So, that was interesting. Uh, let’s see. All right, so we got we’re a couple rounds in here. Found it. Went receiver, running back, receiver. Tyreek Hill. I don’t He could be a league winner. He could also get get traded. Who knows with Tyreek Hill. Um Chillzone goes running back, tight end, receiver with Bejian Robinson, Brock Bowers, Mike Evans. Like that for him. I love Bowers there, man. I’ve I have so much Bowers at that two three turn. Um, and so again, I want that elite tight end to to carry, which is what Bolt Pride does at pick, see, pick seven. Yep. Takes Trey McBride. Um, team three goes Gibbs, JSN Higgins. So, we’re getting a couple hero RB starts here with run running back and then just loading up at the other positions. JSN and Higgins. Love Higgins. JSN. I got a lot of question marks about that, that offense and the quarterback and all that stuff. Um, so we’ll see how that works out. I go receiver, receiver, running back. Again, Hampton wouldn’t have been my top running back here or top player here if I was doing one draft, but I do want to get my shares of Hampton and my and he’s exciting to be honest with you. Young rookie stud running back on a team where Najier is has an eye issue and Najier stinks. So like Hampton just might be the guy that you need this year. So, that’s that’s that’s exciting, too. Um, let’s see what else we got. We got here. Team Dodgers goes McCaffrey, Maki, McMillan. McMillan, I feel like I don’t know how much higher he’ll go. I don’t know how much higher he’ll finish in fantasy this year. Wide receiver 16. So, that’ll be interesting. I love McMillan this year. Team has a terrible defense. They’re gonna be playing in the NFC South with with other terrible defenses, so they’ll be in some shootouts with with them. Bryce Young’s been better. McMillan’s a stud. So, I really do like Ted McMillan, but over like Garrett Wilson might lead the league in targets or lead the league in sorry, lead the league in target share. I he might get like 30% target share there. Um, Devonte Dvonte Adams who I was love I love Dvonte Adams. I was on him early, but again, he’s the number two there. And the Matt Stafford injury is is is scary. Um, Bull Pride Barkley, I’m on RA. That’s a beautiful start. Trey McBride, love that. Love that, too. Let’s go see the ADP board here. Yep. So, where does Let’s see where he normally goes. Yeah. So, Trey McBride normally, as you can see here, Trey McBride normally goes to the 304, gets him like the 307. Not a huge jump, but it’s something, especially if you really like having that. And then here you go with the ADP board. Trayvon Henderson goes off the board in the early fourth. Normally, he goes late fifth. Now, he’s been trending upward for sure. Henderson’s another guy like a Marian Hampton, right? Like, he’s exciting. Their offense isn’t going to be nearly as good. The upside for Henderson is not as good for sure as Amaran Hampton because Henderson’s gonna lose a ton of work to um Raandre Stevenson. Sorry. Uh there. So, we’ll see about that. But, uh I do I do like Henderson. I I just took Henderson the other the other night. I do like him kind of more towards the I love Henderson the fifth. Like, if I gonna get him in the fifth, I’m stoked for sure. Um All right. All right, what do we got here? Genty Jacobs Adams for just win baby. He’s on he’s on the clock. So, two running back. Let’s see what he or she does here. See if the point receiver Torres neighbors Irving Williams and comes back to McLaren who’s still holding out I think like that’s pretty that’s that’s scary. Um Brian Thomas, Achan Harrison Jr. Henderson for Fragile Egos. Um, yeah, nice a nice nice little start. Two running backs, two two receivers filling filling a couple of those starting spots for himself. Han Henderson, two young explosive backs who catch the ball. Listen, what do you want on your running backs, guys? You want receptions and you want goal line carries. Han is going to get both of those things. Henderson will get a ton of receptions, but I think he’s going to give up goal line carries to Arandra Stevenson. So, but that’s why he’s going two round two rounds later. Then you got Brown and Henry to start for fantasy cure and then Metaf and Sutton. So gets two receivers there. And then Bailey pounding receiver, Nico Collins, Drake London takes a detour for Walker and then comes back and gets Rasheed Rice who we heard will not be suspended till the middle of the season. So hopefully it’s not in the fantasy. Hopefully that four to six week suspension doesn’t hit the fantasy playoffs. All right, let’s see what position got available. All right, Kelvin Ridley goes. All right. All right. All right. Got some receivers I like here. Let me take a look at the ADP board. Let me take a look at the ADP board here. All right. That’s a guy I like. All right. Just looking around here, guys. Looking to see what I like here. I’m gonna pass on KD. There are some receivers I love. Some running backs I love. Let’s go. You know what? I want to get a share of this guy, too. I just never get him. I never want I want to I get greedy. I want guys at their peak like the the latest they’ve gone. I’m just I’m just going to go ahead and take George George Pickkins. Okay. I need to get or George Pickkins. I think he’s going to be awesome in that offense. I know this is not baseball, but it is it is a stack. It’s lamb and it’s Pickkins. So, if they’re both healthy, rocking all year, Pickkins is my wide receiver three. And god forbid one of them gets hurt uh hope you know if one of them gets hurt for the year I’m in big trouble but if one you know if one guy misses a week the other guy can pick it up with 15 targets you know and kind of make up for it and I can slide someone else into that into that lineup. So tonight I’m just grabbing a couple guys that I haven’t gotten enough shares of um Hampton and Pickins. So I like that. I like that. Pick is playing for a contract, a big one. And um I think he’s in the right spot. All signs have been great so far. I think Lini Lamb’s teaching him how to be a professional and how to make that money, how to go get that bag. So, um All right. After I take Pickkins, it goes KD and then Z Flowers and Kamar and Cook. Cook really drops. I don’t like J. James Cook. He burned me last year with 18 touchdowns. I mean, that’s impossible. He doesn’t catch the ball ever and he doesn’t get goal line carries. So, 18 touchdowns is almost impossible. He’s not going to do it again. Now, he goes to RB18 here, which is fine. Um, had I gone receiver in the third, I might have gone Cook, but I wouldn’t have gone Cook over Kamar because Kamar gets goal line carries and catches. Um, Cook gets paid, too. So, I’m really interested why I mean Bruce Hall goes in the fourth. I’m still trying to get Henderson over Bree Hall. He’s kind of falling, too. So, um, yeah, there’s just some interesting takes there. Kamar and Cook go. All right, let me look at my running backs here. I’m on the I’m on deck. All right, could go that rout. Could go Hubbert or Connor or Harvey. Or I can come back and keep pounding receiver, guys. I could go Hero RB being Hampton. All right, Jaylen Wadd, which I really liked. Um, there’s a lot of receivers I like. I I like here. Um, I think it’s between Worthy and Smith. Now, do I want to double stack? Do I want to go two Eagles and two Cowboys? I mean, talk about a free look. Um, do I want to go with Harvey? You know what? I’m gonna go receiver and I’m going to go Devont Smith. All right, I’m going Devont Smith because um, couple things, a couple little like weird strategy type type things. So, you get free looks in these type of tournaments, right? So Thursday, so that’s kind of like a tiebreaker for me and that’s kind of fun. So the the Thursday night game and the Friday night game, um you don’t when the players play, you don’t have to put them into your into your lineup until after the game. So um if they if they don’t do if they don’t do well, you don’t have to play them. So those guys are called free looks. And then if you have some like 17th rounder, you know, receiver four on the bench that goes crazy for 100 yards and a touchdown, you can put him into your starting lineup. Uh so those those are cool. So So I’ve got a couple free looks on my team here. Um which is guys, it’s so I if you can get out to Vegas, definitely do it because uh it’s so exciting watching those games. So yeah, we’ve got Cowboys Eagles. So I’ve got a couple Cowboys and a couple Eagles. So, and I don’t have to start any of them or I can start all of them depending on how that how that game goes. Um, and then Chief Chief and I I have a Charger, too. Chiefs Chargers. So, again, you generally don’t want to put your draft strategy around like the Thursday and Friday night free looks, but it’s a little something. My almost my entire team literally is a free look so far on Thursday and Friday. So, I can kind of pick and choose who I want to put in my starting lineup based on how the how they do in those games. So, that’s kind of fun. Um, okay. So, I end up going Devont Smith there. Um, Xavier Worthy. I like I like Worthy, too. It was between Smith and Worthy at receiver for me and actually RJ Harvey. Um, I just I think RJ Harvey has the potential to really have a big fantasy season. I like the pick. Um, but there’s concerns with his uh pass blocking and there’s concerns that he won’t get a a ton of catches as like the joker in in the in that offense because he won’t really be on the field um for third downs. Um they’ll like run Dobbins out there or whatever. So, uh so yeah, that just kind of has me a little weary. I know Dvonte Smith’s going to be out there. And here’s the other thing, too. I’ll I’ll get into the Eagles offense here for a second while I got time. Eagles. Um Jaylen Herz, I think, threw the ball 26 times a game last year. Like there is literally no way there’s no way that they’re going to throw the same or less than that, right? Like I I read a stat the other day that AJ Brown in the second half of games saw a total of like 32 targets in the second half of games all of LA of last year. That’s insane. So if they get in more shootouts and have to pass the ball more, Devonte Smith and AJ Brown are going abs are going to absolutely smash. So I think the passing volume is going to go up significantly. You know, even if it’s only, you know, a target more a game for each of them. That’s 17 more targets. That’s 10 more catch 10 to 12 more catches. Another one to two to touchdowns, another 100 yards. Like that’s meaningful. So, um I think the Eagles passing offense is going to be on the rise just because I think they’re going to have to pass more, you know? Hopefully they’re in some of those um hopefully we’re in some of those uh shootouts for sure. And week one’s going to be exciting, too. Like again, this isn’t about my team, but Cowboys Cowboys Eagles is going to be fun now for for this team for sure. All right, team Mitchell going hero or sorry going zero RB Jefferson Puka Nakua Garrett Wilson Jameson Williams Xavier Worthy. Uh I love that. I did that so much last year and I was I was burned by it. But I totally love it and I totally get it because I took all the receivers and they all got hurt and there I didn’t take old running backs and they didn’t get hurt and so I got crushed last year whenever I did that. But uh he can start all five of these guys, you know, and he probably he probably will. So, um I I like that start. Who’s he gonna get at running back? Well, he gets saved here, too, because right after he goes worthy, it goes rece or it goes quarterback quarterback quarterback. So now maybe if he was if Mitchell was targeting running backs maybe want to father him here. Um all right, Bolt Pride starts Barkley, Amanra, Trey McBride, DJ Moore, Josh Allen. So there’s five straight uh five straight uh picks there and one one running back uh one tight end, one quarterback, two two receivers. It’s really hard. Um, when you do hero RB, which is one running back early and then the rest and then no more running backs for a while. When you go hero RB, the idea is to take a quarterback um, an elite quarterback or an elite tight end with it. It’s really hard to do when you take an elite quarterback and an elite tight end. Now, it’s easier in FFWC because the elite quarterbacks go so late. Um, like he got Josh Allen in the fifth round. You can’t get Josh Allen on the fifth round on any other website in America. Uh, and you shouldn’t. The guy’s the greatest quarterback to ever live. Um, so there there’s that. I mean, statistically speaking, guys, obviously, you know, uh, champion championships, Super Bowls are a team are a team stat, just for the record. Okay. But, um, but but yeah, so having Josh Allen to go along with maybe the tight the tight end one is uh really really good stuff. and and if he can get if he can get those those receivers that he that he wants, if he can get those in the next couple rounds here, he could have a a banger of a team. But he’s going to be um he or she’s going to be uh shallow at receiver most likely. Um but if they stay healthy, look out. Um all right, just win baby. Genty Jacobs Hall at running back, Devonte Adams at receiver, and then Burrow again. We’ll see how the rest of it pans out. But you’ll need uh but you’ll need again receivers. They’re going to go flying off the board these next couple I mean look we’re already at receiver 35 um and running back 20. Remember earlier it was earlier what it was uh 10 running backs and seven receivers. Now it’s 35 receivers and 20 running backs. So it gets real thin in this part of the draft real quick. So, um, you kind of got to hope and pray. I mean, look at this. We got Pawall going to the early six. Abuka going to the early six. I’m forced to take it to take a receiver. So, usually the teams that take quarterback early, I say early, the fifth round for an elite quarterback isn’t necessarily early, but what you’ll find is, man, if I had just waited to the 13th round and got this guy and added a running back or a receiver in place of him, like um you kind of got to do the 2v2, right? like do I go instead of Burrow, do I take Ricky Pearl, you know, would I rather have Ricky Pierol and Dak Prescott or would I rather have Joe Burrow and whatever receiver I’m going to get in the 13th round. So, all right, I’m coming on the clock here soon. A is a nice packet wide receiver 38. Okay, seeing some of the receivers available here. Looking there some running backs available. Looking at my running backs. And then I’m looking at the team behind me. What do they need? All right. They need team behind me has one running. So both teams behind me only have two teams behind me only have one running back. So um you’re on the clock. David Montgomery. All right, let’s look here. Couple players I like in this mix and then a couple receivers I like. All right, I like that. I like that. Okay, I think I’m gonna go running back here. I think I’m gonna go Pacheco. Pard was a guy I was hoping might make it back to me. Um but I knew the guys behind me needed some running backs, so I wanted to take at least one of them. And if another one fell back to me, fine. Golden would have been a guy that I would have, if I didn’t go running back, I would have gone Golden. Um, Chillzone going Chillzone might be able to pull this off here. Let’s see what Chillzone does with this with this next pick. Jaylen Herd’s going to be an option for me as well, stacking him with both receivers, but it’s not best ball, so I don’t necessarily care about that. And I just like the way my teams look better when um when I wait on quarterback. But still, sixth round, sixth round uh Herz would have been awesome. Okay, so we get a bunch of receivers off the board. Yep. And I knew that could happen. So there’s some running backs and um receivers I like here, too. So, I am okay with that. Um, couple running backs I like there. Couple receivers I like here. We’ll see what happens. You’re on the clock. Mahomes goes. Okay. So, I’m considering Jacobe Myers or Joan Jennings or Shakir. Shakir will they said they’ll be back for a week for week one. So, that’s an option. Then running backs. I don’t love them as much as the receivers. There’s just a lot of question marks on these guys. I’ve already got two. I’m gonna go receiver. Jacob I have so much. I have like 70% Jacobe Myers. Ohay. Um. All right. If this I’m just going to do it. I’m just going to do it. All right. If this was If this was you, you should take Jacobe Myers, but I literally have like 70% Jacobe Meyers, so I’m I’m I’m opting not to take him here. Um, but you should take Jacobe Myers there. Um, Josh Down would have been an option, too, but he got I think I read before I came on that he got a pretty significant injury, a groin or a hamstring or something. So, I’m I’m not doing that there. Um, but yeah, Jennings should still I mean, I might not even play. I mean, he’s he’s they’re saying like between like week six and week 10, like listen, let me get if I can get wide receiver 42 off the board as the you know, Pier should be good too. Um, but you know, you’ve got this Shanahan offense with maybe their number one receiver in Jennings. Like, I think he’s good. He’s good enough and he’s my fifth receiver. So, I’m I’m I’m happy to do that for sure. Um, oh wow, Kroski Merritt RB26. This is going to make this this is going to make me go look go look up uh was there an announcement made today? I had I had a busy day today, guys. So, I’m gonna I’m literally live going to go look it up. They announce him as the starter or something? Uh, I don’t think so. I know there’s been whispers about things in Washington, but yeah, nothing. Okay. Loves Krosky Merritt. I mean, he might be the starter. Again, guys, it’s not even a a rip on the player because I like him. It’s just Let’s go look at our ADP board. Let’s take a look. That’s the val that’s the value in having the ADP board. So, we can go look here. All right. Where is Krosky Merritt going? He is going I can’t find him. I mean, this is how far down we’re going here. I can’t even I I can’t even find him. He’s He’s on here somewhere, though. Um Oh, there we go. He was He was taken. Duh. Uh so he goes at the 1012 normally. And right here, he gets taken at the 75. So you could have waited even at least a round, probably two and maybe three rounds to get GrI Merritt as the RB4 on team Dodgers. So, I mean, that’s just not the right decision. I would wait at least a round to get your guy. Even if you think he’s going to be the RB five overall, which he could be. Not saying he’s not. It’s just you could have waited and gotten another receiver or something. and as your RB4. Um, he doesn’t even help you that much as your RB4 because what are you gonna how many of these other guys are are you gonna bench? I mean, I guess you could start two running makes two. Yeah, I mean, I guess he’s he’d be a starter for you, but still you could have waited two maybe three three rounds. Um, all right. So, team Mitchell comes back. Interesting. Um, that’s true. Angelo says uh he single-handedly raised his ADP five rounds. Uh yes, correct. That uh that’s true. Um all right, team Mitchell heavy receiver early. He goes zero RB and then comes back with Connor and Jones. I mean that’s pretty sweet to get those five receivers and come back and get a James Conor and Aaron Jones. Now it might blow up in his face, right? Like those guys are older. I don’t think they’re losing their starting jobs, but they’re older and they’re going to wear down. And so maybe by the end of the season, we’ll see what else Mitchell does it right. But to start the season to have two RB1s to go along with five receivers is pretty awesome. So this this team could start hot for sure. You just got to see what else they’re going to do. Um Bolt Pride goes Jacobe Myers. Love that pick for sure. TW Myers guys was like, “Why were we for 20 last year?” Like Chip Cully coming in. Gino Smith’s a much better quarterback. They’re going to run way more plays. They’re going to run a much faster offense. And Brock Bowers is the only other receiver there. Like Myers is gonna is going to smash. Like I said, I have I’m literally like I’m not even kidding you when I tell you I’m at like 70% Meyers. So, um I got to slow down. Um All right. And you can get Myers if you if you like guys like Toby Myers, you can get him wherever you want. You give him the six, you get the seventh, seventh, he falls to the eighth. Like it’s crazy. Um, okay. Hawinson, our fourth tight end, finally goes off off the board in round seven. Um, round seven. Yeah. Um, fine. Fine. Uh, he’s got his three running backs. He’s only got two receivers, though. I feel like Torres has gota he’s really gonna you didn’t did did did you need that that tight end there in the seventh round when with all the tight ends left available uh I think I would have waited and taken another receiver and fantasy is h happy to do that they’re fifth straight receiver so they do they had a plan they go running back running back with Brown and Henry and then it’s Metaf Sutton a Dunay Pier all downs downs is wide receiver five he might be he I think he’s gonna miss opening day at this point but Um, but yeah, so we’ll we’ll we’ll see how we’ll see how that goes. But I like I like the strategy. I like the start. Bailey, never question Bailey. The guy’s a stud. He’s got five receivers, three running backs through eight eight rounds. Gets Collins, London, Rice. Rice should start the season. Gets the free look. Then comes back with Hunter. Godwin might start on the pup, but that’s fine because he’s got four other receivers. Good. Good to go there. And Tracy, word on the street is Tracy’s locked in as the RB1 there. Now, again, if Scataboo comes back, Scoo, what do we want out of running backs, guys? We want receptions and goal line carries. Once Gaboo gets healthy, he’s an elite receiver at running back and he’s a monster at the at the goal line. Like he could take the receiver work and the goal line work away from Tracy. That’s what’s scary. Um, welcome back Quinn Sean Judkins. Uh, back in the draft pool there. That could have been a guy. That’s another guy he could could have taken over Krosky Merritt or I he’ll probably settle in around probably like RB25ish, you know, but the Browns offense isn’t going to be very very good. You know, Caleb Williams has to come out of the gate or sorry, Kyle Johnson has come out of the gate. Caleb Johnson has to come out of the gate hot and Warren’s going to be the um the third the third down back for sure. RB33. I’ll take him there as my RB3. And if anything ever happens to Caleb Johnson, well, it’s Jaylen Warren to the moon. Daily double. Jerry Hutton wants to know who on earth took Merritt in round seven. So, some builds like I don’t even necessarily look at the player who they are, but like let’s see if the build makes sense because there’s some builds you can do that just the the winning percentages on those. The advance rates on those just don’t really work very very well. So, uh, just looking across the board here, I really like Team Mitchell. zero RB and then gets a couple of experience. See, look at that. Leaporta owner goes tight to tight end. Now there’s going to there’s going to be a run. Um I really like team 11’s build. Two running backs and a bunch of receivers. Comes back and gets gig gets Judkins. Um what other builds do I really like that I was talking about before? The one I was wondering if you could pull it off was the Alen McBride. So, the Alen McBride team pulled it off Bull Pride and we’ll see what Bull Pride does here, but they get that elite running back. I said it was hard to go elite tight end and elite quarterback, but I love Jacobe Meyers and I really like Chris Olive this year. So, to be able to pull that off and have Jacobe Myers be a wide receiver four and he’s probably going to be a wide receiver three and might even be a wide receiver two. Probably not, but might like I like that to go along with a lav and brown and have that McBride and that Allen and Barkley. We’ll see what Bolt Pride can uh can get here as well. So, by going Andrews, I thought I would lose out on Prescott. So, I don’t get Prescott or Herz to stack my Cowboys or my Eagles. That’s okay. It’s not baseball, but I would have liked to have seen Prescott come back around. Let’s go look at that ADP board. Yeah, he went a little bit early. I thought he did. ADP board showing me 1112. I’ll show you guys this. So, Prescott normally goes to the 1112 in these drafts. I thought I’d be able to get him in the 10th, but he goes two rounds early. But hey, they probably knew I was looking at him, so got to take him. got to get him there. Um the problem is I don’t know how much help he’ll be. Like if you make that three-week fantasy race, I don’t know how much help will be if you don’t have the receivers to go with it. Because if he goes crazy, like if I’m in the three-week race and I’m going up against whatever this team is, it doesn’t have to be this team, any any any Dak Prescott team, but Team Mitchell, like if Prescott goes nuts, that means my receivers went crazy, you know? And so that helps me more than it does him. But um generally I would I would unless it’s a rush. So generally if you’re going to take a pocket passer, you want some of their weapons. Um because like I could take you could take a scrambling quarterback and he could have a massive fantasy day on the ground and then it doesn’t matter if you have his receivers. So that’s the way I I look at it. But let’s see what Bolt Pride does here. is an interesting team. I like what they did. I like this fragile egos team too. Thomas, Harrison, Judy, Ibuka, Shakir, where your 47 who should be back by week one. And then upside young running backs. Han Henderson, Caleb Johnson. So, this is a this is a nice little dynasty team. Eagles is building over over here. Um starting what’s what’s the starting lineup? Thomas Harrison Jr. Judy Eggbukah and then Han Henderson Caleb Johnson or Shakir. Yeah, that’s that’s a nice starting lineup. Still can come back and get a tight end or a quarterback here, too. Maybe both. Um, yeah, the four hole. I literally can’t believe I got the four hole again, guys. I’ve literally had the four hole eight times. It’s bananas, but I like my build. Uh, Lamb, Brown, Pickkins, Smith, Jennings. So, I’ve got five receivers there. Can start them all if I want to. In week one, I get to start who, whoever I want because they all have free looks. Uh, Hampton, Pacheco, Warren. So, I’ve got the veteran Pacheco in there. Hampton’s gonna probably start off slow, but hopefully in the second half of the year he can pick it up. And Warren will be fine as my RB3. And then Andrews, who I really like as a top four. I think he’ll end up I really think he’ll end up tight on four this year. Um I just think KD is going to have a bit a big year, too. So it’s going to be in the ninth round is pretty cool. Keenan Allen. So yeah, this is what you Okay, so on the counter point, team Torres, when you don’t take receivers early, this is what you could start with. He has to start Kean Coleman or Kean Allen every week. Um, and that’s if McLaren plays, I’m sure he’ll play, but that’s tough. That’s thin. I mean, Coleman, even if Coleman has a good year, and I’m from Western New York, I’m a Bills fan. I don’t love Kiana Coleman. Even if he has a good year, it’s not going to be consistent. It’s going to be every three games he’s going to score a touchdown or something, you know? It’s not going to be all catch a long pass. They spread the ball around. It’s never going to be be consistent, you know. So, uh, it’s going to be tough there. Uh, he took Okay. I thought maybe he took him over Shakir. I was to say I would have taken Shakir first, but um, all right. So, what did I say? to tight end run. I went Andrews, Ingram and Joker went after went after that. I thought I saw a tight end go right after I took Andrews. It must they must have stopped the clock and changed the pick when I wasn’t paying attention. Yeah. Yeah, because he took he took Lovelin and they took it off the board. Okay. I know it’s not early for Herz in the sixth round of most drafts but he you know taking a top five quarterback. I mean Taylor Kamar Cook could could be an awesome SM and so could Jason Hill. I don’t love Hill this year but those five picks could absolutely smash and then I guess nothing else really really matters because his quarterback’s going to do fine too. So, but you need those guys to play peak performance. So, um all right, team two gets he doesn’t he does it too. Elite tight end, elite quarterback. Let’s see how he did. Bjon, elite tight end, elite quarterback. He’s starting Evans, Flowers, Golden, and Addison. Not at the beginning of the year because Addison is suspended, I think, four games. So he’s starting Evans Flowers Golden Bejan Charbanet Dobbins. See that’s that’s why it’s tough guys to start elite ton elite quarterback. He’s starting Charbanet and Dobbins I think week one. But again those guys one of those guys could could fall in for a touchdown. One of those guys could get six or seven catches because Dobbins will probably start the year as the third down back there. So you know but that’s just not what you want to see out of your out of your starting lineup. But so Lamar’s got to go for four four touchdowns or Bowers has to go for and listen I love the Bowers pick. Um Ty Warren. There you go. So after I pick a tight end, four tight ends went. Okay. I’ve got, you know, a hopeful kind of scratchoff ticket with Hampton and I wanted to get a share of him. I’m happy about about that. Um, Pacheco solid RB2. Um, Jaylen Warren, Blue, those guys again, if Blue somehow gets the job, look out in the second half of the year. Again, another So, guys like Jaden Blue are are the really cool um free looks for Thursday and Friday. Obviously, I’ve got Lamb and Brown and Pickkins and all these Smith and all that. Like, those guys are my starters anyway. So, I I want to see them. They need to kind of do well, but Blue was a guy you don’t know. Like, I I wouldn’t start Jaden Blue week one, 11th round pick, fifth running back, but if he pops off a 70-yard touchdown run, hey, look, I throw him in my starting lineup. So, that’s that that’s the cool thing about the about the free look. So, um I mean, I have some work to do at at running back a little bit. I have some work to do at quarterback obviously clearly. But look, we’re in round 11 and we’re only on QB7. So there’ll be some guys there or two guys there that I like. Um and we’ll load up there. Uh daily double J is free beer in Vegas on him. I hope it’s literally on him, but uh he will buy beers to see that draft. So I will call have his people call my people. We will get that draft set up because I I I want to do a main I want to do a World Championship draft live, but a lot of people don’t like people seeing their picks.
