Playing in the rain. When you’re playing in the rain, it’s important to have the right gear. That means waterproof shoes, waterproof jacket and pants, and even a waterproof hat. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to stay dry. You also need to adjust your swing. In the rain, you want to swing slower and take less club. So, instead of a driver, you might want to hit a 3-wood or a hybrid. Take a look at this guy. He’s taking a full swing in the rain, and he’s absolutely soaked. not a good idea. You want to focus on hitting the ball, not your swing. And the best way to do that is to find dry lies. Look for areas of the course that haven’t been affected by the rain. If you’re able to find these spots, you’ll be able to maintain your performance and not feel like you’re playing in the rain. like and follow Golf Bite for more daily tips.
