Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, recently unveiled an important pet project two years in the making: “The greatest 36 holes in the world” or Trump Scotland.
The company already owns a golf course there: Trump Turnberry. The new course, Trump International Scotland near Aberdeen, officially opens Wednesday, Aug. 13. Last month, Donald Trump and his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. had attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the family’s newest 18-hole golf course, or #TrumpAberdeen on social media.
“It has been the honor of a lifetime to build a masterpiece, the New course (the Great North Sea Links) at Trump Aberdeen,” Eric Trump said in a late July Instagram post. For those who play Trump Scotland, visitors may see a sign with a personalized message from Eric Trump to his famous father.

Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump and the late Ivana Trump, is an executive vice president of the Trump Organization. He shares that title with his older brother, Donald Trump Jr.
Eric Trump also is a podcast host and former television personality. When his father starred in NBC’s hit reality show, “The Apprentice,” Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and future stepmother, then Melania Knauss, made frequent guest appearances.
Eric Trump and his wife, Fox News host Lara Trump, moved to Jupiter, Florida, in May 2021 from Westchester, New York. The couple bought a $3.2 million home in the gated community of Trump National Golf Club.
Donald Trump’s Florida operations include Trump National in Jupiter; Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach (no golf course), and Trump National Doral in Miami-Dade County.
Both Trump sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, executive vice presidents of the Trump Organization, work out of the Jupiter club offices, according to the company’s website. Both men also live in Jupiter. Eric Trump lives in the Trump National residential community, and Donald Trump Jr. lives in the nearby Admirals Cove enclave.

In late July, Eric Trump posted photos and video of him and his dad playing golf at their Scotland course. Donald Trump Jr., his girlfriend Bettina Anderson, and his two children with ex-wife Vanessa Trump − Spencer Trump and Chloe Trump, whom Donald Trump Jr. refers to as “the smurfs” − attended a ribbon-cutting for Trump Aberdeen on Tuesday, July 29, with Donald Trump and Eric Trump.
Said Eric Trump on Instagram: “It has been the honor of a lifetime to build a masterpiece, the New course (the Great North Sea Links) at Trump Aberdeen. Over the past 2 years, I have put every ounce of my heart and soul into making this the greatest course on earth — there is no doubt we achieved that and tomorrow we officially open!
