testing a fake golf ball that I got off the internet. Now, this is a Callaway Super Soft that I found online for like 30 cents a ball, which is not at all what they should be. So, I popped it in my little machine here and got it going. We’re going to run a full test on it. We’re going to cut and check the sweet spot line on it. Now, this ball has no outer coating to it. Like, usually there’s a outer coating on the urethane. And this one doesn’t have it. You can tell because the marker is not sticking to it. Well, the ball is super sticky and you can actually feel what the urethane feels like, not anything else. Now, I popped it in my little cutter here so we can see what’s really going on inside. Now, this is a two layer ball naturally. So, I’m not expecting to see any less than two layers um because that would just be really weird. But with a three or four layer ball, I have a feeling they would only put two layers into it. Now, as I’m cutting it open, you can kind of see the inner core is not the right color. And when I tell you this is the softest rubber core I have ever felt. It literally felt like a trampoline. I was like, “This is not at all how a golf ball is supposed to feel.” on the inside. You could really press into it. When I picked up the bigger half though, you could see the really big issue with it. Now, if you look at the left side of the ball, check the thickness. And then if you look at the right, it’s actually way thinner. The thickness on this ball is not consistent all the way around. Something was definitely off. Uh these balls just are not made properly and are not done the right way. So, if you’re thinking about buying fake balls, don’t. And that’s what’s inside a fake golf
