as he takes it to the top he actually moves his sternum and his hips towards the Target in fact a little more than tur average and then from here the sheffler shuffle just look how far he moves forward shifts from that address position interesting thing to note here is don’t let that fool you you see how he’s kept his head nice and stable and behind the ball this guy is an absolute flusher always strikes it well putting great compression on on the ball

Scheffler is a prime example of early extension not being a bad thing. He definitely early extends with his hips but he keeps his spine angle. Payne Stewart and Greg Norman were two other greats that had early extension. Especially Stewart. Maintaining spine angle is far more important, it's actually required in order to be a great, consistent ball striker
