this is Rafa Nadal’s court They celebrated him just the other day He won 14 titles here Yeah Where do you put that in terms of not tennis records sports records If you play the French 14 times you had an incredible career So to win it 14 times is like I don’t know how like what record is harder than that LeBron’s got the points record right The points record The points record usually could happen I think I see that happening before before that before this The points record will probably be the closest closest second because that’s a lot of durability and and buckets every night A lot of durability here A lot of durability here 14 of these I let’s put those like one one a one

  1. Why would you demean Nadals record comparing him to leflop 😢 so stupid one of them is one of the greatest records of all time Rafas 14 french and one of them is the most meaningless lebron s total points. Rafa has one of the few records that wil never be broken lebron is the all time ring winner right due to this total points? Get out of here 😂

  2. For me:

    1) Nolan Ryan Strike out record
    2) Rafa 14 RG
    3) John Brzenk 25 years of arm wrestling dominance undisputed #1
    4) Hank Aaron 755 HR without steroids
    5) Michael Phelps Olympic gold medal records in swimming

  3. In terms of sports records, I would argue that Nadal winning the French Open 14 times matches Phelps' dominance in swimming events at the Olympic Games from 2004-2016!

  4. Other notable records/accomplishments

    1. MLB wins record (Cy Young
    2. Tiger Slam Winning 4 majors in a row in golf is crazy
    3. 18 Majors in Gold (Jack Nicklaus)
    4. 8 Gold Metal (Michael Phelps)
    5. 14 French Opens (Rafa Nadal)
    6. NBA points record (Lebron James)
    7. Sub 2 hr marathon (Eliud Kipchoge)
    8. Dimaggio 56 game hitting streak

There are plenty of others but those are the best achievements right off the top of my head.

  5. Not just 14 wins 0 losses in RG final, but he never even for taken to 5 sets despite many of those finals being against Fed and Novao

  6. You forgot, it's 14 titles… In the big 3 era!!! Is like trying to break the scoring record playing the bad boy pistons every week 😅 Nadal's dominance on clay will get the bill Russell treatment, 50 years from now it will still be so inexplicable that asterisks and caviats will be the only thing that will allow discussions to even happen. The record is actually impossible to break. We'll still be talking about the big 3 of tennis 50 years from now like it was yesterday. Nadal won 3 RGs without losing a single set for crying out loud 😂

  7. To give some perspective, before federer, nadal, and djokovic, the most amount of grand slams won (not just roland garros) was 14 (sampras). Not only did nadal win 22 grand slams (along with federer's 20 and djokovic's 24), but he won 14 times at roland garros specifically. Thats crazy, especially because of how hard clay courts are compared to hard court … This will never be broken

  8. I think the points record isn't that unbreakable… the games seems to have highers scoring lines as time passes, so one really just needs need the durability. Not saying it's easy, just not as impossible as it may seem. Phelps' record has to be more difficult.

  9. Ronaldo getting to 1000 goals will be the biggest sports record, cus nobody else has officially ever done it, and nobody probably will ever do it.

  10. I think people here are being a bit ignorant of records in other sports that they just don't watch that much: be it football, skiing, climbing, running, gymnastics: there are tons of other sports out there that each have their incredible record holders, male and female.

  11. No one thought Sampras's 14 would be broken but the big three broke it and then some. However, I think 14 titles at ONE grand slam is just beyond people's comprehension.

  12. im a golfer but that nadal record just might never be broken. it's not just his performance, but the future gen just doesn't play on clay. combine that with his dominance, it's impossible. it really is.

  13. The crazy thing is in the 14 finals, no one could made Rafa played the 5th set, every match was 3-0 or 3-1 easy win for Rafa
And the most crazy thing, he made all that in the toughest era of tennis history

  14. Lebron record isn't close to this. First lots of players averaged more points than him. Second, having most points doesn't bring you anything. That's like being number 1 for longest but having only couple of slams. Rafa record mean winning the slam 14 times. It's not just stats on how many winners he had in it

  15. Its a top 3 all time athletic achievement. LeBron points? Psshh, that's nothing. LeBron winning 14 NBA championships, now that's getting closer.

  16. Nadal in Roland Garros was the closest to perfection… I forgot the number but his loses in this tournament in all his career is like in the single digit. That’s crazy!

  17. AS A die hard NBA, LBJ fans. The incredibly of Rolland Garros king is far beyond point record. Speaking that if Steph play as long as Bron, he will definitely surpass the record. But who could achieve what Nadal did. This is like MJ but won every championships of his career.
