So, um I got appointment with him. take a lesson and then um I’m playing again on Monday right here at Shrithani and uh with uh Brian and um Robert uh subscriber Robert who’s the uh resident professional. Now he’s not really a resident professional, but he comes here. He’s a really good golfer. He’s the one that taught me how to putt who gave me some pointers on putting uh a month or so ago. Anyway, um, enjoy the day. I am. Look, it’s beautiful out. Go. Oh, it’s a little short. Oh, not bad. Didn’t quite get all of it, but it’s okay. right on the fringe there. I think I could par this hole. That’d be a good way to start today. [Music] So, I did do something today that I normally don’t do. I went and hit a flat of balls. Was here early. Nobody was around. They had shade up there the driving range. So, I had Caddy over and give me a flat and I hit those. Got got a little loose on it. Got to get a little loose for today. That’s the key for my uh success today is being loose. Yesterday I was just too tight. There’s a birdie chip for the old man here. You couldn’t go and have a look. And we’re all just coming on the edge. That easy part just turned into a freaking double. Magic. Magical. That was horrible. I’m going to delete that. Look how beautiful it is here. Having a good round so far. I don’t want to jinx myself. I’ll catch up with you in a little while. [Music] Brian, you want to z in? No. Probably. She’s like one of giving me that and I said, “No, that’s that looks like something Tony.” She’s like, “No, that’s not Tony.” I said, “Yeah, I think that was Tony. You may have left some over there.” You don’t leave yours in laying around. No, it sits in my freaking I thought that’s what like like uh pushers do. They leave and there free taste, you know? Yeah. He give you a little bit, get you hooked, and then they reel in. Where’s Tony? First taste is free, kitty. I need I need that nicotine fix. Oh, you want to try Zen nicotine? Yeah. Okay. You got to take her. Don’t ruin, man. He’s the best patty out here. I’m not going to ruin him. You take one. Mhm. You’re welcome. Hey, you got the cool mint. Just put in your lip. Nice shot, Chuck. One of us is on. Have been a hole in one if you had a zen. And look at that. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Smiley face. That’s Chuck’s shot. I think he had landed right in the divot, didn’t it? And stuck. Look at that thing. [Laughter] Right in the It stuck in the divot and just stopped right there. Pin high. 145 yards. Okay, thank you. Make Make him putt through that divot. [Laughter] Anyway, I’m right over there. So, Chucky’s got to get birdie putt here. Let’s see. Let’s see what I can do. Come on. Is that a gift? Thank you. Tiny. Go, go, go. Nice. A nice pour on that. And I blew it. I blew it. Give That’s okay. All right. Checking out. Take a par on a little par three. This is my third par on the first nine. I shanked my drive on this par three. went in the water, had my weight on my outside foot, so I took a drop shooting three and then I chunked it again. I came about halfway up and then I the next shot chipped up and in and rolled right in the freight in the cup. [ __ ] Good. Go, go, go, go, go, go. There you go. That was a great putt. Is that a birdie? On it. Good job, man. Oned two and one putt. Great job. Thank you. Jesus. Well, they don’t they don’t count the first drive. The entire week with you. Yeah. Five straight five straight days. Cheers. Thank you, Brian. Yep. [Music] Five straight days. Better than I am. I couldn’t do it. Good game. And that concludes five days of golfing. And I ended with a birdie. Had a birdie yesterday, too, I think. [Music] Yeah. Had one yesterday. Played like [ __ ] but I had a birdie. So, I come to the Centura for dinner tonight. Meeting the usual cast of characters. Didn’t get enough of them on the golf course. But anyway, I got ordered a chicken Caesar salad. That thing is very good. You know, nothing nothing here at the Centura is bad. Everything is good. If you’re in Nudon, you want a nice classy place to stay, the Centara. You didn’t mention anything about the amenities. I’ve I’ve done a video on the Sentara before, but how’s the uh pumpkin soup? Excellent. They have good dessert, too. Yeah, I saw the menu. Dessert’s really good. It’s not that fake imitation butter stuff. It’s good. Actually, that’s Brian stealing my fries. Hang up. Check them out. I don’t know what that is. Garlic and something, but it’s delicious. Yeah. Pass them down to your mom, Chuck. She said waffle fries. Those don’t look like waffle fries. Waffle fries. Oh, chicken breast. Mashed potatoes and garlic. Yeah. Like garlic out of the top. That looks pretty good, actually. You know, Py made me mashed potatoes once. Just out of the blue. Really? I mean, out of They were delicious. Wow. Yeah. I mean, did she did the milk and the not not instant mashed potatoes. I mean, she did the whole deal. She boil the potatoes just like you’re supposed to. They were really good. She watch YouTube videos. I don’t know. She watches a lot of uh uh cooking videos on Tik Tok or Facebook. Yeah. 300. Thailand’s a good place for like last minute things, you know, if you don’t have to like pre-order anything. You just walk right in uh for a for a for a cake or flowers, balloons, stuff like that. And and it’s cheap, too. It’s cheap. Um they have, you know, fresh cakes waiting. They just put the top on for you. Walk in, walk out, you know, get and and it’s way cheaper than than the States. And the food we hit the market. Yeah. Hu three huge fishes and then all the stuff that the ladies like to eat. And they, you know, stuff for uh when foreigners come in. We had everything there. Yeah. [Music] [Music] [Applause] Oh yeah. Amen. [Music] Hey, good morning players. How we doing today? Easy, slow morning here in Udantani. I thought I was taking the day off for golf and technically I am. However, I did run into Ooey yesterday at the U. How’s it going? Not met me before. I just I just watch your channel. Oh, thank you. Thank you. I love the golf stuff. Anyway, uh we’re going to take a lesson today. Got to work on my short game. You know, my my uh driving’s been good. My fairway has been good. You know, I’ve been if I haven’t been hitting the green in regulation, I’ve just been outside and then my chipping needs work and my putting. So, I’m going to talk to Ooey today and see if he can help me out in that respect. I just hit a fly. I kind of warmed up a little. I’m going to just keep going here till Ooie’s ready for me. Hitting off this sastro turf is not the same as hitting off a real grass though. Let’s see here. [Music] You actually shut them a little bit when your wrist use my wrist. Yeah. Yeah. You know, like the greens at Tthani, you know, I get on the edge, you know, the green will start here and my ball will be here on two on a par4. Yeah. And then I’ll I just won’t be able to get up or I’ll get up and it’ll go over, you know, and cost me an extra stroke. And I just want to get more proficient with that little short chipping. And I’ve been in between using my 56° and my pitching wedge on those. Sometimes if it’s close, I’ll just putt, you know, putt up and over. Uh 56 is better. 56° three uh 60°. Yeah. Is better around the three maybe. Uh yeah, cuz the trajectory is high and then drops. Yeah. And then less roll. Yeah. Yeah. But I don’t always remember that. I don’t Sometimes I’ll just look at it like this and and the grass is different than this Astro Turf. This is more forgiving, you know? I mean, normally you just look at it like this and just take a a little chip and it hasn’t been good. I’ve been coming up short. A little more wrist, huh? Don’t lift up by your right hand. Just compress through the ball. Compress through the ball. Just like a regular swing, huh? Yeah. See, I haven’t been doing that. Yeah. Little wrist, huh? Yeah. See, that’s that’s the key. That’s why I’m here to see you because I haven’t been doing this. I ah thinking too much on that one. Don’t kill my man. That’s it. Yeah. Okay. So, this is Ooey. He’s the He’s a resident uh instructor here at UD driving range and he’s instructed me and Chucky and Brian and uh many times and he’s good. He’s he’s helped me out. He gave me a good drill to do today for my short game. Maybe. And you? Yeah. Yeah. Um, his information is right there. 081921882. And I’m going to come back. I’m going to work on these the drills that he gave me for my short game. He’s he’s he’s taught me today to to use hands uh for my for my various shots with the same club, you know, for distance wise. So, that’s what I’ve been that’s what I’m going to be working on. Uh, practice more. Practice practice practice. That’s the key. It’s key to anything, especially golf. Um maybe I’ll come tomorrow and hit some balls, too. But I was doing a a 30 yard, a 50 yard, and a 75 yard with my 56° wedge. And then we went to the pitching wedge, and we did a 50, 75, and 100 with that. Just using hands. Same swing basically. Put a little hips into it on the 100 yard, you know, but uh same swing. And that’s it. Just trying to get those distances down with your hands. just says if you get the hands down, get the feeling for the hands, uh your your game’s going to improve immensely. So, that’s what we’re trying to do. I think we took a big step in that direction today. Thank you, you’re welcome.
