Most people love the Xamanabu Retractable Golf Swing Training Aid because it gives instant feedback to help improve your swing without needing a coach or a full practice range. It’s great for right-handed golfers who want to work on tempo, grip, and follow-through whether they’re at home, in the yard, or warming up before a round.

Compared to other golf trainers like swing weights or grip-only tools, this one combines multiple features in one. The flexible shaft helps develop a smooth tempo, while the “click” sound lets you know if your swing is timed correctly. It’s telescopic too, so it extends when you’re practicing and collapses down small for storage or travel—super convenient.

This tool solves a common problem: practicing your swing the right way without a lot of space or special gear. With the Xamanabu trainer, you don’t need a net, balls, or driving range to work on the fundamentals. It’s especially useful for golfers trying to fix a rushed swing or improve their rhythm and timing.

Here are 5 things customers love:

Here are 5 things customers didn’t like:

Only designed for right-handed players—lefties are out of luck.

May feel too light for some who prefer heavy swing trainers.

Click feedback takes a few tries to get used to.

Not meant for full power swings—stick to practice motion.

No included instructions—some had to figure it out on their own.

Here are 2 questions people often ask:

Q: Is this trainer good for beginners?
A: Yes! It’s a great way to learn proper grip, rhythm, and swing sequence, especially if you’re just starting out.

Q: Can I use it for full swings?
A: It’s best for practice swings and warm-ups—not full-power shots. It’s designed for tempo and technique, not hitting balls.

If you want to sharpen your golf swing anytime, anywhere, the Xamanabu Retractable Trainer is a smart tool to keep in your bag or at home. It’s simple, effective, and helps build the feel of a smooth, consistent swing.

Hey, Adam here with simple and fast review of the Zamanabu retractable golf swing training aid. We’re going to open it up, show you what it looks like, test it out, and of course, let you know whether or not it’s worth buying. All right, so as we open up the box, uh, real simple. Uh, comes with two pieces. Uh, the first is going to be kind of your swing trainer. um which as we open it up um I’ll show you as it extends a little bit during the swing, but this will kind of just go um as you swing. Um you’ll kind of want to figure out the grip that works best for you um here and everything, but um probably going to be something like that where this is going to be a V into there and the V there. We’re going to swing. This is for right-handers um to kind of grip and as we swing this will extend out to kind of just train us. Now, this is going to be kind of a grip trainer as well. Um it’s going to go around your forearms once you get those out. uh to kind of make sure that you’re in the right positioning. Um you’ll kind of want to just slap that onto uh the wrist, sorry, the over the hands and you’ll kind of just pull this up around the forearm area to make sure that you’re not getting too wide and extended or anything like that. Um so kind of just right and it’s hard to kind of demonstrate on camera um here, but it’s going to keep us in uh in position there. So, just a nice add-on to have um for training purposes. Um I’m going to just show you without it. Um just cuz it’s not really my thing to use these, but uh I do like this. So, we’ll go ahead and uh show you a couple swings uh from here. All right. So, I know I’m going to get made fun of already because of, you know, the thousands and thousands of golf pros that watch my channel. Um everybody’s a critic. But anyway, you’re going to align your hands, get them both ready, and all you’re going to really want to do is kind of just work your swing, and it should kind of click. Now, ideally, we’re going to get a click at the bottom at contact, but you know, that’s the whole point is you’re training your swing here. So, you’re just going to kind of just work your swing and continue to try and get the right extension of this at the bottom as you’re kind of coming down uh with this. So, um, again, showing you from different angles here. We’re going to be looking to get the contact or the extension at the bottom, coming at you. Now, uh, and again, driving at the right times and, uh, making sure it’s comfortable. So, the grip should be, uh, pretty self-explanatory. again, getting your hands in that V to start, um, and then figuring it out from there. Um, but this thing’s awesome. I love the ability to kind of stretch and get the feel for the swing, um, as you’re kind of kicking through. You can kind of do this onehanded, um, as well. Um, and just make sure that you’re finding the right kind of zone for it. Um, good for chips, good for full drives, all that stuff. So, definitely worth buying. Hopefully this review helped. And uh thanks for watching.
