Golfing beauty Paige Spiranac has lifted the lid on the ‘coolest’ Happy Gilmore 2 secrets after her see-through dress outfit at the premiere caused a frenzyPaige SpiranacThe golfing beauty wowed on the red carpet

Paige Spiranac has revealed the ‘coolest’ Happy Gilmore 2 secrets after her see-through dress frenzy.

The golfing beauty appeared in the sequel to Adam Sandler’s 90s comedy classic, which was released at the end of last month. Spiranac’s fame for her influencer work on the sport saw her land a cameo role as a golf simulator operator.

Spiranac’s role as an attendant came trying to help Sandler’s character reclaim his love for golf, only for him to break the simulator in front of a stunned crowd.

But her appearance on the red carpet during the film’s premiere was much more glamorous as her figure-hugging see-through dress saw her go viral.

The 32-year-old, who has 4million followers on Instagram, has now given the low-down about what it was like on set during her movie debut.

Spiranac said: “It was one of the coolest experiences of my life. I got to shoot my scene with Adam Sandler and he is one of the most genuine, funny, kind, humble human beings.

“You forget that he is Adam Sandler. He just is so amazing… I can’t say enough good things about him.

“And then the amount of people it takes to make this happen, it was really cool to see the behind the scenes and to see the final product.

“We were on set for hours and my scene – if you blink you’ll miss it – so the amount of time and effort and care that goes into creating these movies that we all love, it was really, really cool to see.”

Spiranac also revealed that her role potentially came as a result of a “fake casting” situation, which was the inspiration behind one of her iconic Instagram posts where she recreated Julie Bowen’s character Virginia Venit wearing white lingerie and carrying beer in the original Happy Gilmore.

She recalled: “There was a fake casting that came out a while ago, and I kind of threw my name into the ring.

“I said, ‘Hey, I’m ready for (the role).’ I put up a picture of me which was like recreating the ‘Happy Place’ with the iconic image of her (Virginia Venit) in the white with the beer, and it gained a lot of attraction.

“I think that’s kind of how it all came together, but it was such a cool experience.”
