buried in sand. Over 30 minutes for one shot. McKenzie Hughes steps up for his T-OT. The ball leaks slightly to the right and ends up buried in the bunker, not just sitting in the sand. And this one’s basically underground. Usually pros just go for it, but this time it’s a real dilemma. Do you try to hit it as is or take a penalty stroke and drop it? This decision may seem quick in the edited footage, but in real time, Hugh stood over the shot for over 30 minutes. That’s right, 30. This delay even impacted the entire group behind him. Eventually, he takes the penalty and drops the ball. Third shot onto the green. And then he drains a monster putt to save Par. One of the longest decisions. Would you have done the same?

I would’ve shouted “grip it and rip it!” and hacked at it 5 times before 4-putting my way to a 10.

Then didn’t make the cut, but slowed all production down lol
