Pro Round | DPC Southbreeze on SGT | Round 1 of 2 | TBooms & Swing Yard

All right. What’s up everybody? We are starting the pro round here on the simulator golf tour. Let’s see what we got to work with here. So first of all, stimp 12. Fairways normal, green’s normal. Not really much elevation. So pretty standard. Stimp 12. This is a pretty tight hole. Almost the play. So maybe they come 254. This is good. Don’t need to kill one here. Keep it in play. All right, that’s what we wanted, but too far left. Let’s get through there a little bit. Interesting. Nice start. Okay, B gets rid of some of the stuff behind me, I think. Let’s just We’re going to try and play our normal shot here. We might catch that tree, but we’re going to play a little fade and see what happens. It comes out 2.1 to the left. So, maybe just a hair more. It’s in the pine straw. Okay. Oh, I heard trees. Bummer. I think that actually would have been pretty good. Just got done playing the par three round. It did not go well. Actually hit the ball okay, but scored horribly. All right, 49. carry this 43 is the goal or 46. It’s going uphill though, so that actually worked out better for me. I suppose I was out of the rough, too, which I didn’t factor in. All right, 12 stimp. Pretty straightforward sixfooter here. All right, good par safe. 3 383. Okay, short par4 here. See if we can’t hit a driver on the face this time instead of on the bottom. Qi10 driver. I love it. That’s pretty ideal there. Kind of a bullet. Not worried about being in the rough. Just get it over those trees and chipping and putting here. All right. Right. 59. It’s uphill a little bit. So like 53 54. Why did that go so short? That was miscalculated is what it was. Need more of that. That was Yeah. I mean I hit it 52.7. I just needed to hit it farther than that. That was stupid of me. 12. All right. Well, opportunity missed, but fixed it just fine. See where that has a seemed. Yeah. All right. Couple scores in on a Monday. It looks like four is the best. Should be a fairway. Those are good numbers there. 12.6 2K spin. I’ll take that any day. If you have questions on the numbers for drivers, let me know. All right. This is a little bit of a riskreward shot here. I’m going to play it out there. Draw it back in a little bit. The miss is left though. That was about what we wanted. May bounce to the right. Not much, but we’re putting. That was exactly what we wanted there. Took the risk out of play. transit eagle here. Let’s see. That feels about right right there. Maybe one more because the beginning of the butt’s kind of fast. So, it’s only 19 on 12 stamp. Stay up. Shoot. Good bird though. All right. 181. This is a nice smooth seven iron for me. Left. Give me a little kick. Oh, bummer. Still got a chance for birdie here, but this is semi- rough, so I have to chip it. You don’t have to. You can get away with it sometimes, but it’s a little unpredictable of what you’re going to get out of semi- rough. So, don’t need much here. Choking up on a pitching wedge and basically just putting it almost Get over there. That is mean. Shoot. Thought I had that. Straight as an arrow for this. 524. Stay there. It’s a pretty good swing. Kind of saw a little too much spin, but had good launch angle on it. Good carry. No problems with that swing there. All right. This is going to be a five iron here. We’ll draw anything to the right is probably the play. It’s got to go a little bit right off the bottom, but that’s great line. Actually, it’s got to sit. Pretty happy with that. Good thing I didn’t hit it a little better. Another chance for eagle. Little tougher putt here. Right there. Feels about right. 20 23 24. It’s got to be way short in the circle. Yuck. You do that for eagle, huh? Pretty poor. All right, you can use these arrows to go to the other side of the box. Maybe a little better angle at cutting the corner. About right there with a little drop. That’s the goal. That’s about as good as I can hit that one. All right, 104 left. Sorry, 102. 103. A little uphill. Come on. Wedge game. 104 would be a perfect number. Maybe even 105. It’s going to spin too much. Shoot. That’s going to be way off the front almost. Stop. Stop. Wasn’t as downhill as I thought. Good. Stayed. That’s why I wanted to hit a little long though. Got lucky there. Okay, nice sevenfooter. This is where I like sim golf. Alls I have to do is focus on hitting it straight. Actually, that’s one of the things that translates to real golf and putting for me helps me stay down on my putts. Okay. Another one. Hit that a whole lot better. Get over there. Driver’s working so far. All right. 113. We looking at up here kind of tucked but kind of go right at this sit hooked it. Hooked a wedge right off the toe. Perfect distance. Not happy with that. about right again. Here we’re looking at like a 35 footer. Got to hit it hard through the break. It’s got enough juice. Man, that’s two. That is unfortunate that doesn’t go in. Same thing happened on my chip three holes ago. All right. Looks like it’s 148 to the front. Slightly downhill, slightly downwind. Want to see what the Okay. 146 carry would be nice. 141 is flirting with disaster. Gil ball. Oh, that could be great, actually. Yep. Was hoping I landed on that front fringe there, which I did. That was a little more aggressive than I had planned, but worked out. All right. So, we got 10 basically a 12footer. Not going to break a ton. Nice birdie there. All right. How much water? We’re probably not going to hit that. This is where I just need to take a little bit off the driver so we don’t flirt with that water. Yeah, I’m fine with this. It’s into the wind, too. That was probably what we wanted. Get up a little bit. Guard path would be great. Okay, now sit. Really sit. Well, that’s what we wanted to do. Card path is a little aggressive, though. Let’s see. All right. So, it’s 5.1 left. You’re looking at my lie. With a wedge, it doesn’t matter as much. So, rough. I’m pointing it down. 75 is a good number here. 79. Sit. Sit. Pretty happy with that. The 75 was my was was a good call. Hit a little too hard, but safe play. Okay. Down a bit right there. It’s only looking like a 15footer. That’s pretty good. Oh, that’s so hard. Simple. Simple. Hit it. That was the right line. Wrong speed. Another missed opportunity. Unbelievable, man. All right. Looks like it’s got to be a 3wood. Yeah, probably my old school 3-wood. This is going to be the next club I replace right here. but delivers sometimes. Played last weekend and it did not deliver. I’ll put it that way. 148. Pretty routine shot here. If you guys have any questions or thoughts, let me know. All right. 148. 145 would be a good carry here. Is 145. Just stay left. It’s hooking a lot. Nicely hole high. It’s a little too much draw on that which controlling that draw has been a issue of mine. Borderline hook I should call it. Excuse me. All right. Right there. 22 23 feet. Oh, really? That short, huh? This is my first round in a while. The touch on things is not great. Miss so many putts and little touch shots. Still scoring. All right. I’m hitting the ball. All right. Just little things like that. I mean, that’s a not even giving it a chance. All right. 140. Probably only need 138 135 here. That’s perfect. I like that. Oh boy. Don’t hit the pin. Well, that’s about what I wanted. Just a tough ball to get close coming from. So, same tactic as before. This one can go about right at it, huh? This time I’m using a 9 iron. Basically putt it with the green. So, 71 over there. Man, that’s fast. Luckily on sim golf the sixfooters almost a gimme but bar is a bar. All right, let’s see. That’s tempting. That’s right here. With a little bit of wind, it’s tempting to try and hit that, but there’s not much to be gained. Quite honestly, still going to be chipping, so you might as well take some of the risk out. Well, that was a misread. Smoked that. Ah, yep. Crack ball. Found it. If you can see this on the Can you see that at all? No, it doesn’t zoom in. You can hear it, that’s for sure. Farmer, that’s not even an old trash. She goes. Luckily, that didn’t hurt me more. It’s like, I smoked that ball. No way. I had 159 and 257. Luckily, it didn’t hurt me more. 71. I’ll be good. Stop right there. Stop. Oh, I went really far. Shoot. All right. Come on. Make a 12footer. What do you think? Right there. One more. Okay. I think we need one more tap, guys. There we go. All right. 12 feet. 12 feet. Hit it straight. And you didn’t play enough break. Was that that far off? I even pulled it a little bit. Well, pretty pathetic. All right. Well, That’s more like it. Stay short of that tree. 131. All right. Nice smooth pitching wedge here. See what the green looks like. Yeah. Going a little bit little bit left. It’ll funnel down to the right. Plus, you don’t want to miss right. Nice smooth wedge. Oh, no. Stay there. Please stay there. Oh no. What did I just say? You don’t want to miss, right? Where did I just miss? Great job, Tim. Way to go. All right. 11. Okay. Pretty happy with that. But fix the damage. Try again on the next hole. All right. 67 187. Okay. Again, we’re going to play this out a little ways. The miss is left obviously. It’s like 181. So this is a seven iron for me. Pretty comfortable 7 iron. Push. Push. Got scared. Just not hitting the shots right now. There we go. 20 pull out. All right. Again, good fix. Two good up and downs there on not great shots. 361, huh? Let’s have some fun. So, we’ll go this way. This is such a risky play, but who cares? All right. So, what do you guys want me to do? Hit a high draw over all of it. Try and hit a fade. Let’s hit the fade. That way, we avoid the trees just a little bit. If we almost slice it, that’s okay, too. Okay. Not out of bounds. Hit off there super hard. OB. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, boy. Great play by me. Now we’re just going to try and hit our regular drive high enough. Should have just done that the first time. Oh, all right. May have to cancel the stream short here.
