Sylvester Stallone has made a shedload of movies, best known for his roles in Rocky and Rambo. But now he’s entered the ring on something completely different, the face of a luxury golf resort.
The Hollywood legend is fronting the launch of SouthMed City, a massive new development along Egypt’s North Coast in Ras El Hekma. It’s being built by Talaat Moustafa Holding Group (TMG) and spans over 23 million square meters, making it the largest tourist real estate project in the region. And yes, golf is part of the script.

Stallone has occasionally been spotted at celebrity pro-ams over the years, but he’s not a known golf nut like his fellow superstars, Samuel L. Jackson or Bill Murray.
Anyway, check out the first of his two blockbusting campaigns below:
As Sly said, SouthMed isn’t just for the golf — the project includes villas, chalets, hotel-serviced apartments and luxury amenities. All overlooking what’s being called the Mediterranean’s largest integrated marina, just a short flight away from the Gulf.
Here’s the second advert, where we see Sly kitted out in his golf gear alongside former French national team player and Premier League footballer Thierry Henry, of course!
The acting isn’t going to win any awards, but for the North Coast of Egypt, it might be the knockout story they’re hoping for.
