You got that strong grip. Give me that cuped wrist. You got that weak grip. Give me that bold wrist. Somewhere in the middle. Make it look like this. [Music]

  1. So if I have a slightly cupped wrist is it better to just strengthen my grip instead of having to force my wrists to bow or flatten? Seems way easier

  2. This. Video, fixed my slice, bud.

I don't know how strong my grip use but that wrist angle has an enormous effect on the face position. I finally got this

  3. I would say that how cupped or bowed has more to do with rotation than anything. If you spin out you need a strong grip because your hands will be further forward.

Amateurs play mad weak lead/strong trail which is the opposite. You can only release the club on plane with the club under your hands. You can't release through your hands or you do and turned release.

Most amateurs will fight with a held or turned wrist but it is a direct result of the club not being beneath your hands. Normally a held release with a push fade that goes down the line at best.

The position at the top is like I say more about rotation and natural feel. But if you don't have your hands on top it will make a big difference to release and ball flight. Correct grip it's negligible.

  4. I have a neutral grip but my wrist is always cupped at the top. Its just natural and comfortable. But if i force it to be bowed i will hit it pure af sometimes but not always (inconsistent). Im doing something wrong im sure.

  5. I have a tendency to cup the wrist at the top/transition. If I use a strong grip for the top hand and a neutral grip for the bottom hand I get a nasty feel at the top, but if I commit and finish the swing it produces pretty good results. But it just feels so awful at the top lol.

  6. If this wasn't so sensual, I could send this to my friends and family… but it is so I guess they'll never get to fix their game.

  7. I got strong grip
I just need a different angle of what cupped wrist looks like
Cuz I can’t see it from that angle
    I guess I could use a mirror. But it’s a lil confusing 😬

  8. So if you have a strong grip you need to have a cupped wrist and if you have a weak grip you need to bow the wrist?
