I found this wedge and ball greenside yesterday at my local course on the 3rd hole. I was preparing to pick them up to return to the clubhouse when I noticed the ball said “Don’t Touch My Stuff”. Thinking it was a prank, I put it back down, laughed, and went on with my round.
I make the turn and am walking down the fairway on 10, and see a cart with two older gentlemen driving towards me. Of course, they ask if I found a wedge! Turns out it was not a prank, and the guy really lost his wedge. He plays with custom balls that say “Don’t Touch My Stuff”, but hadn’t considered the consequences!
What would you have done in this scenario?

Return the wedge to the pro shop. Probably with the ball.
In the age of YouTube and stupid prank stuff, I get your hesitation, but I would have still grabbed it and given it to the ranger.
I would have left it as well. I would’ve assumed there was some reasoning behind it.
Leave it right there. Follow instructions.
Pick up the club, leave the ball.
I would have kept the ball because that text is just taunting me and begging me to take it… but I would have picked up the wedge and turned it into a ranger or handed it over to anyone who asks if I’d come across a vokey
Probably tee bag his drumset
Used my towel to pick them both up to turn in at the turn. Because if I use my towel I didn’t technically touch it.
Iron it straight into the woods!
Sgt Hulka has entered the chat…
“Lighten up, Francis”
He does as he’s told
Lighten-up, Francis!
Yeah, shit, I’d probably do the same thing.
Do the same… ball says “Don’t touch my stuff.”
Ppl make decisions in life, live with the consequences.
“I just happened to leave both my ball and wedge next to the green. I obviously chose not to putt out…..” This sounds like a pretty suspect post.
I lost a 56 degree vokey sm10 at marine park on the front nine?
Make a fake post on Reddit about it using my wedge
As someone who just lost a Scotty Cameron headcover, turn it in the pro shop. I’ve return at least 3 range finders and luckily someone returned my range finder. Not my head cover tho
always pick up and hand over to the marshall. he can try to catch up with others.
How does someone forget both their club and ball lmao. Leaving a wedge after dropping it on the side of the green while putting I get but do you not walk off the green with your ball in hand
Just switch out the ball.
I always leave clubs where I find them. Maybe toss them in a bunker if I’m worried that the mower might run it over and mess up the blade.
I would leave a note right next to it that said “Hey, I found your stuff. I was going to bring it to the Pro Shop but I didn’t want to disobey orders. Hope you find it, it’s right there ———->”
Smack the ball as far as possible with the said club at the best opportunity and hand the club in at the end of the round.
What other options are there?
Send it into the woods after I touched it.
i would definitely touch his stuff
Depends whether you’re a rebel or not.
Would have picked up the wedge anyway and turned it in
Was the guy Lionel Hutz, or Miguel Sanchez?
Left it there and told a ranger
Put it in my bag and told him I never saw it, then turn it in to the club house.
Pick it up turn it in the clubhouse
Hit the ball back to the pro shop with the club. Count your strokes and report back
Kind of have to touch it to return it
What’s the bounce on that wedge?
