but if you generally went I was a random stranger on 14.9 you just go off your handicaps well we’re not that’s I guess that’s the the other side of the coin is like we’re not random strangers and we Barnes first time we’ve played this this looks so traditional like you could imagine it being exactly the same 100 years ago which is what’s pretty cool about the Scottish Leaps courses but I think as well we’ve caught on a really nice day everyone keeps banging on like this is like a once in a thousand day weather or something but yeah this is cool first part of the team come on come on boys [Music] [Music] right coming up now the stretch 16 17 18 I mean it’s got super super still clubhouse up there we’ve played a few courts up in St andrews but this is really really special to be fair i was saying to the GoPro just then we when we’re filming especially we always get buggies it’s just routine plus we get to have the GoPros but it’s nice to just walk it sounds silly but you do get to see more of the course especially a course like this very very nice jeez working whilst sleeping and driving over there this is the uh issue and the logistics of uploading videos whilst in the middle of nowhere we have no Wi-Fi so Jack was exporting and uploading to YouTube last night what did it get to Jack to Where is it 58% what in in what 10 hours yeah it was like 2 megabytes upload or something yeah it was ridiculous so hopefully Don Barney were hoping we’re hoping and praying get some signal four kids in it yes over there by them trees they’re almost perfect aren’t they oh baby beach you care for a we drum gentleman before a we drum but I’ve got bigger camera [Music] oh right we are on hole six I believe um you know what actually playing some pretty good golf i’m only two over through five holes we played this last year it’s not the hardest of courses to be perfectly honest however if you find yourself offline you can be like Ronan’s going to be in a tricky spot now but we’ve all been playing pretty well did episode two of Break 500 we really like this series because it means it’s I was saying to Ran like it’s multiple days of playing golf but it all kind of fits together in a nice little series whereas normally it’s like individual videos so this is quite fun [Music] firstly what a course secondly what a day and thirdly I’ve played pretty well con 11 over par which for me is very good i think I checked the course handicap 14.9 which what I am now gives me 22 shots or something like that which seems quite a lot but we are playing the blues two holes to go let’s finish finishing style [Music] oh we did front nine back n this is actually video number two or five but I’ve gradually lost shots cuz I’d beat him a few times okay so I at one point I had three shots i’ve now only got one shot over the front nine and I mean he’s a really good golfer like he’s played off single figures for years and years and years and you’ve just got I’ve just got down training in the right way and he’s kind of stagnant he’s he’s had too much red wine last night and he’s partial to a driver blow up which is just huge for me actually yeah it’s massive absolutely massive absolutely massive well good luck mate have fun right this is special the Renaissance Club um I didn’t realize it’s completely private so we’re very very lucky to be playing here today obviously this is Scottish Open Media Week already filming should be over there as this video goes out it’s actually this week got to run a little forecast as well but yeah this will be good this looks I think funny enough probably the best condition course i mean we’re only here on the putting green but it looks incredible i don’t reckon they’re making it past hole i’m going to go hole 14 that’s my guess really as in any of them i think I don’t reckon Ron and Pat will get past 14 yeah that’s a good line i think Dick’s going to finish it but I’m going to say I reckon Ron first hole slices it into the houses on the right sorry what’s this huh what’s going on here oh we were just talking about um golf and the course okay what you think absolutely yeah great really good isn’t it yeah i’ve heard the back four really nice as the back four the last four holes are really So hopefully you get to see them why would you say that why would you say that i’m definitely going to see that this is I’m just saying it by far the best I’m only on hole one but the best course we’ve played so far in Scotland it is incredible it’s just like this perfect marriage of like lynx meets woodlands but hastand it’s got all the best elements of the golf course six little par three here we were actually just staying over there in that accommodation last night walked down to the balcony had this i actually thought this was a putting green it’s a bloody tea box so cool man so so cool any any flashes of competence no no no just all terrible nice view weather weather sunburn playing north bar later some tomorrow later tonight that’s pretty good day [Music] right this is a logistically annoying you might do a Yeah a little UI why would I do it again i’ve just done it we took a miss turn by the way definitely all right i don’t know if you guys are aware actually i don’t tell the viewers at home but Pad is very good at missing turns and I don’t think he means to it just happens and he’s like “Oh should have gone right there.” And it’s like it’s got to the point where we actually have a we got the book the most rated club that we’re playing this series i mean it looks it does look wow i mean look at the cards so but of course I’m not a perfect day absolut North Ber off in a better day than this so delighted delighted to have you [Music] sometimes the pressure I feel is real want to give in want to give in [Applause] [Music] [Music] nice this is tough man two rounds in one day we haven’t had lunch we’re powering on through i think we had a few pies but I actually missed out on that all I can think about is getting a curry now go-to curry i’m going to lie to myself if I just don’t say chicken tikka masala stick to what you know chicken tikka masala with a pint of beer on the bottom [Music] [Music] i’ve just struck an ace iron 110 yard and by the way that was a really well struck eight iron i thought the wind’s just pulled it up that is I didn’t think it was that strong that is crazy [Music] see I would have been happy if I had chipped that i would have been happy with it there that’s why you always go with a putter find [Music] [Music] [Music] Oh come on [Music] the other courses you played so far well this one it’s tough man i mean it’s hard because this day has definitely been um the windiest so it’s definitely been the most challenging just due to the the fact it’s been very tough windy hasn’t rained at all this week um I think we’ve had a real true test of like Lynx golf which is just a totally different style of of golf i know everyone says “Well you still playing golf but it’s like it’s you’re playing everything shorter you’re allowing the run and as soon as that wind hits it’s like are you into are you out is it coming off the right?” This whole week I’ve enjoyed it to be honest it’s been It’s been fun as you can tell in my voice right and that is it scotland trip over thought I’d take you guys behind the scenes for an entire week of filming with us and the crew this was one of our most jam-packed weeks we had five rounds of golf across four days including travel days um super excited for you guys to see the second season of Break 500 um this will probably come out in between the episodes so if you haven’t seen episode one and two check them out three and four stay tuned they’re very exciting to
