How Dominant Tiger Woods Really Was!! #golf #shorts #tiger #pga

People don’t understand how dominant Tiger Woods was. I understand it, Zach. I’m going to share some unbelievable stats that this guy Justin Ray Golf tweeted. Good for Justin Ray Golf. Scotty Sheffler finished the 2022 2023 PGA Tour season with an adjusted scoring average of 68.63. That’s way lower than my score. It’s the seventh best single season mark of all time. Can I guess what you’re going to say? Every single person before that is all Tiger Woods season. Tiger Woods is the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth best adjusted scoring average in PGA Tour history. Scott, he’s not even close. Tiger Woods is credited with 41 career European tour wins, which is third most all time on that tour. He has never played full-time on that tour. That’s ridiculous, actually. From 2004 to 2006, Tiger Woods had,466 putts from 3 ft. How many did he miss? Zero. I know the stat. It’s three. He missed three putts. That’s ridiculous cuz I missed like 60% of those. I know. I think we missed 40% of those. In the last 60 years, there are three instances of a player winning five or more PGA Tour starts in a row. Who do they belong to? Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods. Well, there’s only three of them. Tiger Woods seven times in a row. Tiger Woods six times in a row, and Tiger Woods five times in a row. That would equal 18 times. I’m going to keep going. Over the last 10 seasons, players with a three plus shot lead entering the final round of a PJ tour event have gone on to win 61.7% of the time. Guess Tiger Wood’s record in those situations? 100% 100% 25 for 25. He’s very good at golf. There are three instances in PJ Tour history of a player winning eight or more times at the same course. Can you guess the players to do so? Yeah, let me guess. Zach, really think about this one. John Rom. Not John Rom. Tiger Woods at Bay Hill, Tiger Woods at Firestone, and Tiger Woods at Tory Pines. Firestone sounds like a cool course. The win percentage by outright 54 leaders on the PJ tour. In 2021, it was 26.7%. The last 10 seasons, it was 42.4%. Guess Tiger Woods percentage. 95%. 95.7%. I’m a genius. 44 for 46. From the 1999 PJ through the 2001 Masters, Tiger’s finishes in the majors was a win, fifth place, a win, a win, a win, and a win. In that span, he had five major wins and only four players finished ahead of him combined in all the tournaments. So, what you’re telling me is that Tiger Woods, what am I telling you? Is really good at golf. He is very good at golf. Probably the best of all time.

  1. i live not to far from firestone cc, and i got to play a tournament at the west/fazio course. it is one of my favorite courses, and my favorite in the cleveland/akron area

  2. Firestone is widely known as a not very cool course by anyone that kniws anything about golf course design. But is mega famous and over appreciated because of tiger

  3. With all that greatness, the most amazing feat not only in golf, but possibly in sports was performed by Byron Nelson. He won ELEVEN tournaments in a row! We could all be frozen and come back in 500 years and I guarantee no one will have done that in the interim.
