Road To PGA TOUR – Day 16 – Fairmont Le Manoir GC

What’s going on, guys? We’re here. This is the furthest north in Quebec I’ve ever been. We’re here at the Manoir Chatau. Manhat Mano Chat. No, Fairmont. Fairmont. Manuel Chatau. Right. Help me. Don’t ask me for help. I think it’s the Fairmont. Yeah, we’re at the Fairmont and today I’m playing um Le Manushalu. It’s a really beautiful course up here. Yeah, I’ve been looking at it for a really long time. It’s there’s one specific hole you’ll see. I’m really hoping the sun is behind us on that hole so that it looks as beautiful as it does in the pictures. But yeah, I’m really excited for it. We’re actually up here shooting um some film for this agency called I called them an agency, this agency called Prefer Life. And they hit me up. They’re doing a a series on the best courses in Quebec. And they asked me to be one of the guests for that series. So, really cool. And you’ll probably see some of them because this is more of this is like a behind the scenes and also like a course vlog. So, you’ll see some more of this stuff later on. Take a look at this place. So the important thing is all set to just overs. Yeah. Oh, no. You’re good. Okay. Just do the other lines like standing up. Okay. And you can have multiple [Music] I could get used to this. Okay. So, go go with Alex for the B- roll. And of course, I always had in mind. Look at these guys. Yeah. All Adidas. Let’s go. [Music] Um, let’s head up here. Damn. What a great idea. This place just casually at the the nicest range you’ve ever seen. Look at that. Uh I don’t know what that shot was, but couple right up. Do you have a favorite? Hey, what are you shooting today? 746, I think. 70. 746. Seven under. That’s the record. Oh, should I do it inside? 7 under. 700 and Damn, he’s good. He’s shooting. I’m I’m going to shoot seven under, too. So, I guess we’re going to tie. Uh we name our courses Rishelu Tadusac and Sora the the great white ships that were owned by the Canadian steamship lines and they were in Tadusac. There were a fort one called Quebec. So if eventually we get the Fort Nine, we’ll call it Quebec probably. So even our holes are named in within the history of Shalavo as well. Uh so the the white ships were sailing or actually boating people from uh the northeast of the United States up here for their summer vacation as I explained you. Um, and that’s why u there’s a lot of history with President Taft in 1925. Um, and and still a lot of people own houses, summer houses in the region that are from Pittsburgh, New York, Chicago. Um, and they all play golf here at the Marub Golf Course as well, which is nearby, which is the second oldest golf course uh on its original site in in America. So, let’s play golf now. Richard, your course. I think it’s my favorite of the three nines. um a little challenging but uh honest as I said. So where you can uh shoot a pretty good score if you put your ball in play but uh and and the greens remember the greens. Yeah. No, I was like I was failing on the chipping. I chipped off, you know, on that uh on that right side. Well, that’s a very very hard green. Okay. Very small as well, but uh they’re a little bigger on the golf course. Okay. Okay. Okay. Wow. Wow. Perfect. All right, let’s see what he got. All good. 100 yards. I’m hitting sand wedge. The pin is slightly up and it’s on the left side of the green. The greens are a little bit um like on these short courses, they’re always a little undulated. So, that’s going to be the tough part. Good. Very good. Left my putter on the chipping green. So, had to use Marlins. Almost went in. I would have switched immediately, but it’s okay. Should not switch from mine. You’re going to get mine, right? Yeah, for sure. Uhhuh. From right to left. Uh, from left to right. Sorry. Left to right. Starting at the electrical. Yes. It’s perfect. Solid. 120 yards. I got my gap wedge. It’s slightly uphill. And it’s a front right pin. Ball’s above my feet. So, I’m going to hit it a little. came a little right. Easy. Thanks. Thanks. Whoa. Not a bad shot, eh? Pretty guy. Got 163 downhill from the rough. So, I’m going to hit pitching wedge. Um, ball’s below my feet, so I’m going to aim at the middle of the green and should come back a little to the right. Oh, it went way. Good. It’s a good putt. Come on. Good luck. You’ll be okay. But Holy speech. Bill, there you go. New driver tech there. All right, 200 y in 204. Got my sixiron. The pins in the middle slashback and going to it’s slightly downwind so I’m going to hit a knockdown. I don’t want to go long. What’s left? All right, my second one went there, but my first one hit the trees and bounced back in. Not a great lie, though. But at least it’s the water. It was a tough shot like that. All right, we got horse play. We got The most fun shot in golf. It’s like 30 yard over bunker bunker shortsided pin. Wonderful. Wow. Great shot. That’s a one in 50 shot right there from that light. That’s insane. This is the picture of the hole that I’ve been seeing that made me want to come here. Everybody’s dream. Yeah. So nice. It’s such a beautiful one and that you you want to play it every time. So this is why every golfer that come to the golf course will play this sequence. Mhm. Right. Those uh the sequence of nines. Yes. Right. So it’s always included since everybody comes for it. This this hole especially. This either one of the two nines and then this that’s it. Except for one crossover in the afternoon. Right. This is the hole. We’re all here for this one. Perfect. Cannot be less than a yard off the center of the face. 142 yards pitching wedge. Nice. All right. if you uh Good shot. All right. 270 yards, four iron. So well done. That was crazy. Not bad. Thank you. Nice. Okay. Well, it was very good pure conditions of the green didn’t help you. No trouble. 114 yards. Going to hit a full sand wedge. Uh, knock down 52. Yes, that is that was so weird. I was so uncomfortable. I was like, you missed that high. 168 downhill n iron. Oh no. Nice. That’s going to be so fun. Wow. Let’s go. [Music] Okay. 230 yard uphill two iron ball way above my feet. Sitting down in the rough. So, going to be a tough one. Thanks, Pleasure. Great to meet you. Wasn’t my best golf so far, but the first You took me out of the golf course. I’m very happy with that. Yeah, you still got it. Well, it’s what happens. It’s what happens when you golf very often. You two three good shots and you miss you miss like half of them, too. But uh no, I wasn’t concentrated enough. But uh very good golf swing, huh? Keep on keep on working on it. Thanks. And uh nice attitude as well. So, thank you. I appreciate meeting you. You too. Good. Wonderful. Thank you, Milin. It was really nice having you here at the golf course. Pleasure, Alex. Thank you very much. Some of the most beautiful shots. Get out of my way. some some of the most beautiful views I’ve ever like and I’ve been a lot of places like this place is spectacular that was really nice did not disappoint at all that’s our did not disappoint at all again I’ve been waiting to play here for a very long time just for that one hole but yeah and and I didn’t hit a I hit a really good drive on that hole So, I’m very happy. I was telling Alex, I hate when you’re really excited for one specific hole or shot and you get there and you’re only playing once and then you mess it up cuz you know you’re so excited for golf. Exactly. Yeah. So, to not do that, I was pretty locked in today. So, I’m happy about that. And uh yeah, I think some of my misses were like better misses today. So that’s a good thing. So thank you guys for watching and shout out to Manuel Rashula. Happy 100th anniversary to them.

Welcome back to Day 16 of the Road to PGA series!
Today we’re teeing it up at the stunning Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu Golf Course—celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The views out here are unreal, perched high above the St. Lawrence River with a layout that’s as scenic as it is challenging.

Conditions were perfect—clear skies, light breeze—and I was able to post a solid -3 on the day. I had a lot of careless mistakes but at least the game is trending in the right direction.

We also captured some behind-the-scenes moments from an awesome collab with The Preferred Lie, so stay tuned for more content from that shoot—it was a blast.

  1. Swing looks great, and you did well considering, there's a lot of rolling hills, that make it really challenging. Cheers

  2. My dad and I play every year at this beautiful course. Nice score you shot there ! My personal best is only 78 😉
