Malaysian Ladies Amateur Open 2025 Final Round at Templer Park Golf & Country Club Kuala Lumpur

Good morning guys. Welcome to the crazy golfers from uh Templar Park Golf and Country Club in Malaysia, Kolumpur. And today is Malaysia ladies open uh tournaments final round three. And uh she has done her warm up. Her tea off is at 8:00 a.m. from the 10 number. So she see you on the tea. It’s a lovely weather. You can see the clouds in the sky, but it’s going to be humid. Sun is still uh low because of the clouds and the temperature is calm. There is no wind in the morning but there would be later on and you can see a lot of uh dew and uh a lot of water because it rained uh last evening as well. So it’s monsoon season. So you can see uh there you can expect some dew and water. So the fairways are also damp and uh you can see the greens will be cut and uh so green should be okay during the round. But yeah the rough uh are difficult because of the uh wet rough and uh humidity will be the killer when the temperature will rise. Maintenance bike with the baby cart. It’s 7:45 minutes to go for the tea off. There are a lot of mushroom wild mushroom in the uh rough and even fairway. So the maintenance staff is clearing those. So course is really very good in Princeton conditions. So they’re keeping it very well very well-maintained uh course and this limestone rock is the beauty of this course you know. That’s why we have come here uh again this year. So Templar Park had 3 years contract with the Malaysian Ladies Amateur Open. They were the title sponsor next year. We don’t know whether this tournament will happen at Templar Park or it is going to shift to another course. We’ll come to know that later when they will announce maybe in the evening or maybe later on once they will finalize the new contract. Lot of monkeys. He’s trying to get something from the dust spin. Group number eight, starting tea time 8 a.m. First on the tea, please welcome Shambavi Chhaturi. Next on the team, please 10 power four. It’s slightly left to right. Need to avoid the right tree line. Play well, enjoy the game. T-shot is on the right side of the fairway. That’s better approach. You see uh the front of the green is covered by bunker. So just need to approach slightly from the right and from right side of way you get diagonal angle and the green slope is also right to left. So it’s better if you land. Oh, looks like it’s over. It went over on the right edge of green. Missed the green completely. Her ball is safe. I thought it has gone over but it uh it is on the fringe. You can see just a few yards, couple of yards right of the fringe on the front. So, carried the bunker pin high but uh safe from bunker. So not a bad shot. Uh from center left it’s all down slope to the left and from center right it’s down slope to the right. That’s that’s good part because uh due to green undulations hard to stop the ball on the green. It’s a bird putt slightly up and uh side slope up and down. Go go go go go go. Right on the neck. Little short hardly few inches. Okay, good par number 13. Power four, right to leftlet. Good drive just over the bunker. You can cut the corner on the left. It’s uh just the mount and uh even if you land on the mount the ball will come in the fairway. Today uh our drive went in the left bunker hitting a high bridge from the bunker. A second shot from bunker was good. Just on the fringe to low chip. It will not chuck. Okay. Slightly got some back spin but it was low chip. It would be around 5 footer. 5 6 footer. So far. So it would be around 5 to 6t. Yes, good part. So par on this hole. Hole number 14. Power four. It’s a quite wide straight hole. Just keep from the right center. Okay. On the right edge of the fairway. Should have kept slightly right center. But that’s okay. Quite wide. White fairway is clear approach. Just need to avoid the green side bunker of the right. T-shot is on the right side of the fairway. So 100 60 70 yards to the green. Need to avoid left and right bunker. Should be okay. Oh, went left. landed on the left edge. Uh ruled bit on the fringe. So her ball went uh left apron area. Good job. It will come roll over. Good chip. Better. So today she’s uh kind of dropping it ahead and then rolling ball. Went slightly left but that’s okay. It will be in the fairway. Ball is on the left rough. Need to just get out the rough and safe from the tree too much. It was not needed to hit full shot. Just should have hit punch out in the fairway center. The ball is in the right rough and um there is in drain so it’s quite wet here. Looks good shot should come close. Go landed before the mount. So the there is ups slope mount and then downs slope on the green turtle back green. It would if it would have landed on the mount then it would have uh rolled to the pin but slightly short. It’s a long part but up and down quite a strong but that’s okay. It was long and up slope then down. So just 4T. It’s a bogy butt around 4 ft or so. So still slightly up and down. Yeah, good part. Boogie. So two over in six holes. Better game today. Hole number 16, par three. Uh she has hit a shot and it has landed on the green. The ball close to the pin. It’s on the left side. The closest ball. Let’s see. Three girls just one yard. Two girls are pretty close. Just 6 ines. Oh my god. I should have come fast to this place to capture. missed little action. Uh day before also it was pretty close. Yeah, finally first birdie of the tournament. Should have gone in the hole. High five. Finally first of the tournament. So there is no point in making holin one on the other pass threes because you will get only templar parks par three membership for one year. We are looking for MG5 the big grand prize for holy one. Would have been better approach to the green if it will if it would have landed on the slightly right. Uh pin is shortsided on the left. So the best line would be on the right edge of the bunker to be safe on the center green. Her second shot landed on the bunker over bunker lip in the rough. So it’ll be lofted chip. Yeah. Go. Yep. Good chip. Still uh a little short. There was a left to right slope. It’s uh part around 8 to 8 10 ft. Oh, a little strong. It was breaking from left. It’s a boogie but two ft boogie. So two over now after eight holes. Better than earlier rounds. Hopefully she’ll keep the same rhythm in the next 10 holes. Hole number 18 signature hole of Temple Park. And they have moved forward the tea uh white tea. Earlier for past 2 days it was on the right side on the blue tea box and last year it was on the white T- box forward Ty so they have moved it back on the front so easy to carry the water but then zone going slightly left thing should be okay but left didn’t give a better loft that’s okay the ball is in the left Uh rough fire or fairway edge. So looks good. Should stay stay. It was low shot. That’s why it’s rolled back. But that’s okay. On the fringe pin is on the back. So we’ll get a smaller chipment. But it’s on the fringe. Going for putt. So up and uh down. Kept it little slow, but that’s okay. still uh like 3 ft. That’s a bar around I think 3T or so. Yep. Good part. Need to keep the ball on the left center of your weight. So going left to right and then right to left then again grain is left to right. So approaching from left would be better but uh cut it going the line of the bunker rightway. Bunker should be in the rough. She’s in the left fairway right fwayave bunker using hybrid straight clear. Yeah, good shot. Well out. It is slightly going left clearway from there. It’s a left to right approach. So should be good from the bunker on the left rough left edge and it’s around 150 plus rough and uh plus elevated green. So 170 yards shot. So, okay. Landed uh on the green but rolled to the right edge, right? Uh fringe is shortsighted on the right. Difficult chip from down slope and uh yeah it it was about to roll because you have very less space tight space to hold and uh she was standing on the down slope so can’t open the club face otherwise she’ll chunk. So long butt of a bar. Very long bar, but around uh 15. Oh, it’s hard harding cuz it was up and then down. She hit it hard. It is still 5 ft. Four or 5 ft. I put around 4 to 5t. So 3 footer double boogie putt. Double four on three putts on this par five. Not a good hole. Hole number two. Par three. It’s uh pin is left side shortsided and uh T is on the right side. So it’s a diagonal hole. Just need to avoid the green left right bunkers. Water body is not in play. Yeah, looks good. Good shot. Should be on the center right green. Yeah, slightly rolled to the back and uh that’s okay. Safe on the green. I can make two putts. So 45 ft body putt up and then down. Up is also very steep. So need to control the speed. From there, clear approach to the green on the right. Ball is uh perfectly placed left side of the fairway. 160 170 going left over draw and uh it will okay land on the green patrol on the fringe. rolled off. You see the green slope where the pin is in the line of the bunkerage and uh there is slope on the left and there is slope on the right. So either side you will land you will uh it will roll off and uh green is wide but less depth so hard to stop the ball. Paul went on the left fringe. Good chip get in. Good chip the gin. par but yeah given par good par that’s hole number four par four right to left just need to keep safe uh between the fairway bunkers just slightly right center left center you can see even right center is also good so yeah Drive should be center. Perfect. Yeah. Landed in the line of the light pole. There is a m lizard all the left side of uh cream is on the yeah perfect on the green but rolled to the back edge but yeah good shot from there easy to put Paul is been hiding But slope took it uh off or left on the left side. So yeah, good part. It was a long buddy putt around uh 12 15 ft. Yeah, good par. That’s hole number five, par four. It’s a quite wide but long par four. Green is again tabletop. Just need to keep slightly right centerway. Yeah, good ride. Slightly left side of the airway in the line of the left green side bunker. That’s okay. T-shot is in the set of A slightly down slope and green is elevated around 150 yard and considering the green and so little over turtle back green and tabletop green so went over on this hole still she can make chip and putt that’s okay reached the backage rough to chip from there. Ah, okay. We landed on fringe and uh just rolled a little bit. That’s okay. It was uh better. Otherwise, it’s down slope and I was thinking it is going to stop there. So, side slope down slope breaking from right. Yes, good part. She’s rushing to the restroom. That’s why she finished uh her butt fast. That’s hole number six. P four right to left. Just keep the line of that right fway bunker cutting it. It will go quite right. But yeah, see if right side you have a big landing zone but yeah it will go shorter distance from the right edge of the fairway. Looks good shot. So around 13 40 landed a little short. Stopped it. Loft it. Didn’t give it uh enough roll. Just landed on the fringe and stopped there. Not a good chip. It’s uh around 10 12 ft side slope down slope part. But getting close is the line and it rolled to the left. Boogie putt around uh 3 ft or so. Yes. Boogie. So five over now. City was she was uh two over on the first nine and uh then double and uh boi number seven par five left to right click. Just keep it over the left bunker but right bunker but going quite left. Okay. Safe in the fairway on the fairway left edge but should have kept on over the right bunker. Her second shot uh came in the left rope. The fairway is uh again going right and uh then the green is on the left and you can see the big trees on the left. So difficult to go to the green from the left side. Should have hit the second shot. Uh right side of the fairway. Still she can go to the green from the right. Rough is thick. We left her ball went over in the grass bunker over the green. Hold stick. Stay. No. Stroking was uh little strike was hard. So hard in a sense. soft. It should have been little soft to hold the ball because there is down slope. She should have a like height and loft was like a flop shot but the strike was little strong. So should have kept her arms more soft to chuck the ball. Still a long part but too fast. Too fast. Boogie putt out. Another double. Not a good hole. Two bad power fives. Double on both the power fives. So trail. There is the Hindu temple rainforest under the mount number eight part three all-in-one price MG5 cars good loft okay perfect good Shot. Just slight shot. A lot of fishes in this pond. That’s a bird. On the apron area, stop there. chipping from the green left side. Didn’t let it go. There’s a long chip up slope. It’s a 18t 18 ft bar, but very long up slope and then flat and down. Yeah, I went 3 ft over the chip. Should I have come 3 ft over so that you can make one part down slowy but boogie? So it over spiral to double. No better road today.
