The Central Catholic boys’ golf team kicked off its 2025 campaign at the Irish Invitational on Thursday at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green. The Fighting Irish finished tied for 10th overall at the 24th-annual event with a team score of +30.

Individually, senior Christian Kynard and junior Sebastian MacDonald led the way for CCHS with a round of +5.

Anthony Wayne captured the tourney title with a team score of +2, with the Generals’ Michael Distefano securing medalist honors after shooting -2.

Central Catholic is back in action at the Knight Invitational today at Maumee Bay State Park Golf Course.
