There’s been a new launch in the Callaway irons and it’s in the way of the Callaway Apex TI Fusion. [Music] Now, when the black version first come out, I really liked it. They’re not the cheapest irons. They are rather on the expensive side, but I understand why they are that expensive because they are fantastic. the consistency of distance I got from them. It just I kind of like got a little bit of a mis strike and a good strike and it still didn’t vary too much. The landing zone was really really close to each other relative to my swing and what I put into it. But I felt like I was getting less variance in the end result because of the technology in these clubs. Now a downside of these clubs is that black finish just sort of wears off a little bit and just sort of like comes off the edges. These ones haven’t been used much, but we still see just little signs of wear on that black finish. So, they brought them out in chrome. There’s some slight differences, but essentially it’s the same club. One difference being, well, main difference is the color, but the main difference I’m seeing here is the shaft. The shaft is essentially the same apart from one little detail on the black ones. We’ve got to tour issue written on it, but it is the dynamic gold mid 100, which is the stock shaft in a custom fitting. There’s lots lots more shafts available, but when you don’t get the black shaft in these, it doesn’t quite have the same feel. So, I’d rather just stick with the black shaft in the black heads. If you want custom fit and you suit a different shaft better, I think it might just look a bit better in the chrome head with the chrome shaft. But that’s just me. Technology-wise, when we see the club head with a hole in the end here, that’s where the head is hollow. So, in the manufacturing process, the heat has to escape somewhere while it’s cooling down. And that allows them to get a much thinner face. And there’s AI technology behind every club face in these clubs to give us that kind of like more consistent rebound off the face to give us more consistent distances at the end of its flight. But when you look down at this club, it’s not too big. We don’t have too much offset. We don’t have too much top line. It’s quite a nice compact head. And when I’m looking down at that, I don’t I’m not offended by it in the slightest. It does kind of feel like I’m kind of hitting a blade that’s just got a little bit more help in it, but they’re very easy off the face. And there’s no complaints here on that. I’ve got a bit more distance than I normally get out of a 7 iron. It could be a little bit stronger than mine, which will give us just a little bit more distance, but they do what they say on the tin. They do everything they’re designed to do. You just might have to pay for the privilege of having it. And if I had two and a half grand spare or I wouldn’t hesitate to stick these in the bag really. So I do have a three iron here that’s got had a bit of a custom build. It’s got an axium shaft in it. But there is a little bit more offset on the three iron than I would like to see. That just sticks out a little bit more than what suits my eye. So if I had a set, I would probably stop them at the sixiron maybe and then do something else above the six iron if I’m being really picky. But this one’s been used a little bit more. So that black finish has sort of like worn down a bit more. You can see that where that face attaches to the back of the body. And you can see where that color just comes off a little bit. And when we get these in the chrome heads, we’re not going to have to worry about that. So there we go. New addition to the 2025 lineup. New addition to the 2025 lineup. Uh-huh.
