Dustin Johnson sets six-year timeline after live golf struggles continue. Dustin Johnson has outlined his retirement plan after another disappointing performance at Live Golf UK where he finished last 26 strokes behind champion Wain Neman. It was his second bottom place finish of the 2025 season following a similar result in Hong Kong. Once a dominant force and inaugural live champion in 2022, Johnson has struggled in recent months, also missing three straight major cuts before a T-23 finish at the Open. Despite the setbacks, the 41-year-old remains hopeful, telling reporters, “I think I’ve got another six years in me, and then I’m going fishing.” Johnson cited putting issues for his poor scores, but believes his overall game is improving. With 24 PGA Tour wins, two major titles, and three live victories, Johnson’s legacy is secure. But his focus is now on making the most of the final chapter of his career. Good news
Champion golfer. Hope for the best.
He has not been relevant since joining LIV.
Cocaine is a helluva drug!!
shut it down like most of liv has beens.
It is hard to stay in the game mentally once you have all that money and have won some major championships.
Greedy Bastard. LIV Golf…where good golfers go to DIE (or at least disappear): Dustin Johnson, Harold Varner, Paul Casey, Charles Howell, Sergio Garcia, Abraham Ancer, Phil Mickelson, Kevin Na, Ian Poulter, Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood, Bubba Watson, Cameron Smith, Talor Gooch, Jason Kokrak, Graeme McDowell, Louis Oosthuizen, Branden Grace, Charl Schwartzel.
LIV is a snapshot in time of golf 5 years ago. Golf has moved on.
When he got his generational wealth where he and his family will never have to work again…..he completely stopped working hard…..took the easy route
LIV is just another failed attempt to compete and possibly overthrow a top tier sports league. Money really can't buy everything. ⛳
Buh-bye, good riddance.
The best golfers are still in LIV. The PGA people are idiots!! Bring everyone together so we dont have to say Scotty did it without all the best players!! This is a PGA issue!!
And this is what LIV golf is. A retirement league where guys who were once competitive are massively over paid UP FRONT with a HUGE paycheck, then stop trying to be competitive golfers. They're playing for fun and exhibition without a care in the world if they win or lose.
He should never have left the PGA. He went down hill after he moved on. It was his choice or Paulinas. Lol
Going the way the “WFL” went. Remember Tex Schramm. Court said no deal and awarded $1 dollar.
who cares?
