Best Budget Golf Course Around Bangkok With Night Golf 🇹🇭 Rachakram Golf Club

hello and welcome back to Parang Golf Today it’s the 15th episode of me playing all the golf courses here in Bangkok and we are at the old capital of Thailand in Aayutaya and and we are playing Ratagram Golf Course It’s a funky one So I’m really excited to play here and show you the course But before that let’s jump to the clubhouse and check out the facilities real quick before coming back to the tea box 57 courses in Bangkok 160 days to play them all But I’ll be right here when winter comes if you decide to make that call One more time welcome back to Farang Golf It’s already 15th episode of me playing all the golf courses here in Bangkok Thailand Since I’m playing full round of golf in this video and it’s going to be a little bit longer one I think it’s better we check out the clubhouse just briefly before heading back to the course Another reason for brief review of the facilities is the fact that this course actually concentrates on the things that matter for a budget golf course They don’t have fancy clubhouse They don’t have fancy locker rooms or practice facilities but they maintain the course excellently That’s just the right way to do it The clubhouse offers a homey and cozy feeling small restaurant with the biggest portion sizes I’ve seen on any clubhouse so far The prices were also moderate so I recommend you checking out the restaurant before or after your round of golf The locker rooms surprised me They were actually a little bit better than I was anticipating The Rajakam Golf Club was open 2006 so I think they might have done a small face lift in the locker rooms at some point There was no driving range at the golf course just a small putting and chipping area next to the starter I admired the pro shop from outside and didn’t enter it It’s a modest one and probably good for emergencies So if you forgot something you could maybe pick it up here Let’s then jump back to the tea box And if you have any questions regarding the facilities let me know in the comments and I’ll try to answer them as best as I can [Music] Hip song So yeah that wasn’t the best of shots but here we are We can make boggy bogy from here Okay happy with that The greens look like they’ve been sanded some and cred some time ago Oh not not lately but few few weeks ago maybe And I saw they should be 9.7 on average but let’s see Yeah they feel fast Fast greens Not the greatest of pots Little bit work So it’s okay Little bit left but I I hit it good Not bad shot Not the best best one We have some bunker on the fairway 10 and something 170 to the pin I just take nine iron and try to escape the bunker Okay that’s all right I cannot do better It was quite close to the rim here So that’s what you get qu It’s okay Slicing We are not three on at least So the pin is I think 50 yards 60 60 yards says the caddy like right Yeah but the seven was would have been too long if if I hit it straight because I sliced it and it’s still sliced that it’s a little bit too long quite okay Yeah I think it’s on the green Let’s go check out When we came here it’s quite empty course but there was just few groups starting at the same time And since I play alone it was better to jump few holes Then there was a group that came behind when I was in the tea box So I was trying to make intro there and got a little bit pressure Now we run away from them and I can play slower No speed Yeah Okay good Safe good course is quite funky So it’s a budget golf course which is which is obviously nice thing 45 minutes to drive here and budget golf course in a in my opinion in middle of nowhere And uh it has night golf as well which is strange So today let’s see how slow we play But we started we teed off a little bit before 4:00 p.m So I guess we’ll finish just when the sun goes down and maybe couple holes we get to play in the flood lights as well That’s perfect Just the line I didn’t break the light and I didn’t break the light and and the line is correct I cut the corner and I think we have like 100 yards maybe 150 yards to the pin [Applause] second shank with the with the 700 I don’t I don’t think I can do anything else I cannot go over three so I go between them There’s a decently okay gap between Okay it’s on the right hand side of the green I’ll take it I’ll take 56 Oh it’s a difficult shot I think I need to come down on the fringe and then just let it roll roll all the way down Difficult to stop it but that’s the plan here Yeah not the best Little bit too far And that’s what happens This green is is in better condition again The second green was a little bit more bumpy and sandy because of the cing uphill left to right little bit Yeah I aimed there So it was completely straight but I aimed like two cups to the left and that’s where it went So my bad bad read Good bookie Double double Not the best start but I’ll accept it I’m not the best of the players Haven’t been swinging for a for almost a week So there is no driving range here either So if you if you need some warm up you better do it on the driving range is on the way to this course I think Pangpai in Royal Royal Pangpang they have driving range Oh no Caddy run But see intimidating the water there But it’s 180 yards so it should be should be okay with the decent strike Ah nope It’s in the water [Music] Little bit short but it’s okay We are putting gimme sector would be nice so I don’t have to fight for the next butt Too much power Bye-bye Good line Too much power That’s good pot 375 It’s strange in golf how the things change It’s not long ago like Nikanti videos and those like few weeks ago I would love this hole with my sixiron I would hit it perfectly Now I’m scared I’m scared of shanking and I’m scared of hitting it short And I hit it Okay It’s on the right hand side and there’s bunkers there So it was just a little bit towy but other than that it was okay That’s exactly like I tried to do Yep Really good I’m happy came down in in the perfect spot Sometimes I get questions asking like not so busy golf courses I think this is one of those courses since it’s not super close to Bangkok It’s quite close to Stonehill one of the impossible courses for me to go and get to play I I think we can find ways to get there need to pull some strings and and you dear subscribers can you help me out If you know somebody who can find me a way to go to Stonehill please let me know in the comments or send me private message I need all the help I can get to get to go and play that course I think Robinswood we can do and I think we can do polisher or what is it called But that’s that’s the last one we cannot probably do Nice part Yeah my caddy she’s she’s been carrying at the Stonehill We just I just found out she’s been working at the Stonehill She crashed my dreams Cannot go and play Have to know a member and go with member But I I will find a way if if it’s the only course out of the 57 I I haven’t played I will find a way to go and play there or then I just sneak over the fence during the night with flashlight and and do it like that [Music] I did what I I did exactly what I was talking If I aimed more left it would have been better But I’ll take that Let go I’ll take nine iron I can play over the bunkers like 130 140 yard shot No Unlucky I hit it little bit fat Somebody hit their ball here next to me I didn’t hear any four but it’s okay Maybe they come say sorry later Four te box That was unlucky They hit their ball onto my fairway like 50 yards of me and nobody said four At least my daddy said four when I hit their tea box It’s okay Nobody got hurt I wouldn’t go to the bunker unless I need to make a review Looks like decent bunker I I think we we’ll get out of here Unless I don’t even hit the hit the ball Yeah it’s a bunker I cannot get out from Too much power That was better leaking a little bit to the right but it’s it’s in play Right side of the fairway 10 yards off of the fairway 120 to the pin Pitching I’ll take pitching Pin is back and it’s Yeah 120 from the rough Little bit long I guess I hit it quite good Oh over like 30 40 yards to come I need to go all the way to the green I think because it’s it’s going to stop if I leave it short Okay Yeah that was quite okay I didn’t go all the way to the green but it was still decent Decent result I think I just put bad Okay Okay Motor away Okay Yeah Little bit left of the fairway It went straight instead of slicing a little bit So I’m okay with that Good shot Too much to the right Stop Stop Okay we safe But I was expecting it to go a little bit to the right but it went so much But it’s all right Nope that’s not the strike It’s their bunker there Yeah I’ll take it Stop Stop I think we have to chip again Wow Yep That was good Better than expected from there It wasn’t like the easiest on top of the the fringe and rough Oh was it so hard little bit hooking it but I think it might be safe Hazip 200 y to the pin I don’t think I can play there And the tree is in between as well I just have to play it here I’ll play now five iron like a punch shot 100 yards Okay perfect Little bit right I didn’t shank it this time No it’s okay Bunker again But this one is Yeah it’s greenside bunker I thought it’s not greenside bunker I didn’t even hit the ball I hit it like before the ball This is my problem with the soft sand I don’t know how to hit it I hit it too too much before the ball and too thick That’s better at least But I hit it thin but it’s on the crease Not so good No power Okay Caddy interview [Music] Caddy Hello Caddy interview What’s Yep perfect Little bit hooky again I think I hit it here Not bad didn’t roll to the fairway and actually didn’t need to go further This distance was quite okay since the pin is over the water there 120 Oh nice Yep Just as I planned That was good execution Too little Yeah it was quite thick the rough my practice swing It got stuck So I open a little bit but then I was scared to hit it It’s okay We putting for par Bad putt I’ll take it 130 I have nine iron so I don’t need to force it I can hit it smooth Push bunker again It didn’t push It was more against the wind It didn’t go left at all It’s so bad position I have to hit it down as hard as I can and hope it jumps on the green So I take 52 instead of 52 instead of the 56 Nope not going Okay we came out Ruin the holes when I have to go to the bunkers But that’s something telling me I need to practice bunker shots I guess Not bad Just maybe two yards more One and a half yards more It would have bounced straight not down No good I’ll take it on a Sunday afternoon 2,000 B but including Gadian cart So that’s one of the cheaper ones And and the value you get the course is in great condition Some of the tea boxes could be better The greens have been c and sanded month ago So they are still getting better But if you come here in in one month’s time or after that I think the greens will be perfect as well For 2,000 B but get night golf as well I think and and I recommend this course from from the bottom of my heart You should come and and play it if you haven’t played it That if you have you probably knew it already that it’s great course Oh my D I think I topped it It’s good I I didn’t see it but the it I hit it good but then the wind is pushing it that way So maybe it’s like right hand side on the rough What is it 180 to the pin and a strong side wind I’m aiming again to the left little bit Now the slope is helping me keep it on the left hand side Why you always have to shoot every I hit horrible shot but it’s okay Just over the green Okay Oh bunker I’m happy No the first line was correct I put it little bit to the right and the first one was correct But yet again nice tool But there I’m I’m quite happy with that I don’t think uh even better players make make all of those or even half of those I think it’s quite okay O slice for I don’t think there’s anybody there or nothing there So just wrong fairway now Let’s go play it Oh car is here Yeah almost on the other fairway 100 yards to the pin I guess And against the wind I didn’t make it too easy for myself I didn’t see I think it came down on the green or around the green I hit it really good Yeah it’s really good I think No need to pat No just have to pat No give me Yep I take it It’s rather difficult course I have to say Like all all of the fairways are quite narrow and and they use lots of outs between the the fairways I pull it Oh let’s go find it I hit here again So then it’s turning left by night Okay Little bit thick I hit it fat and it’s short but it’s not in the bunker Hip song Going to be raining heavy soon but I think we have four holes left or three holes left after this A little bit short but it’s okay No speed Not so bad pot but no speed No Pull it a little bit Popped It’s okay We can play it Why How It’s because you suck it It’s because you suck it Why don’t you quit Let’s go find it I almost think I prefer it to be in the water My dog Okay Shank No water Yeah good shot from that position Too slow again It’s I’ll accept that But if it was one yard longer it would have been better Not bad Yeah nice shot Baby draw Yeah maybe we can be like two on for once Yeah I hit so good Have 80 yards to the pin or 90 yards to the pin And I just told told my caddy that it’s 100% in the water now since I open so nicely [Music] How’s it song shank Of course I know I have to [ __ ] it up when I hit good driver then Shank bunker I’ll take it tip normal Better story of my life But that’s how the golf goes You play I played really good I played under 90 rounds Couple couple rounds under 90 and then constantly like 92 93 91 And now last weekend I think I played 104 105 99 And this looks to be like 105 or 100 over 100 anyways for the round Oh we get to see the lights Too much speed Good putt 200 yard 200 yard par three I promise my caddy 500 if I if I make it on I’m pretty sure we we are not going to be on the green It’s also like elevated green with bunkers on each side and and water also And dog nam that’s in water Let’s go I think it was decent just slicing Yep that’s good Really good shot Only one on my on Okay Almost no need to putt That was good I’ll take the bogy from water My My caddy has been she’s been working everywhere So Ratakam Stonehill Pa Legacy Riverdale Yeah Five courses She’s been working at five courses different courses She’s been good caddy Recommend recommend her So if you come play here book by 240 number and she’s in Golfland app so you can find her from there Let’s sum up the review during the 18th hole as per usual If you didn’t skip too much of the video you probably saw that I I’m really pleased with the course I’m especially pleased with my caddy and and overall it was great experience 2,000 B is a great price for this course The clubhouse the facilities aren’t the best in the world The cart pads may be not in mint condition but the course is in great condition and and you can see that they work hard to keep it that way There’s plenty of competition in the 2,00 to 2,500 B golf course segment and I think Ratcham is competing quite well in its
