Lotty, very many congratulations. Your first tournament as a pro and your first win. How do you reflect on that? Yeah, I mean it’s a pretty good outcome, I guess. Um, definitely wasn’t expecting to win my first event, but I was, you know, knew I was playing well, so just kind of hoping to contend and just played really solid today and, you know, it was it was pretty nice in the end. You know, could lay up on the par five. Yeah, it’s a little bit unlike your win in Ireland because obviously you had a huge lead going into the final day. just two shots today and at one stage it got very very close. Were you aware of how close it came because HJ came level at one point? Um, not really. There’s not that many scoreboards out there to be honest. So, uh, I didn’t know I’d got level. I knew it was probably quite tight cuz I was only a couple under at the turn, but um, then when I had the two birdies early on in the back n, I kind of knew I’d probably got a little bit of lead by then. How special is it to win your first event on the LPGA at the home of golf in Scotland as well? I mean, of all places to win, Scotland’s a special one. Yeah, it’s great. Uh, Lynx golf is really fun. Don’t get to play it too often. This was probably for my first time playing links golf since the open last year, so wasn’t exactly sure how it would go, but um yeah, it went went fine. Yeah, it went more than fine. And your family as well were here as well. So to do that in front of them, I mean, that must be an extra special feeling. Yeah, it was great. Uh my my dad was here all week and uh my mom got the train up last night, so I was hoping that I wouldn’t mess it up. Obviously, you got the open coming up next week. Your thoughts about that? Now, you must be targeting the win or at least a very good finish there. There’s so many eyes on you as well. I mean, how do you approach it? Yeah, I mean, definitely even if I hadn’t won this week, I’ I would still be trying trying to win it and just trying to just be up there really is all you can ask for going into the final day. Are you aware of the sort of immediate interest in you now? There’s obviously a lot of pressure for old English players to do well, but when they come through and have a start that you’ve had, we’ve seen on on social media a lot of interest in this week, a lot of interest in what’s going to happen today. Are you do you think you’re prepared to handle that? Yeah, I mean it’s still still a learning curve, but um I think the last few months I’ve definitely had the attention, you know, we’re trying to get the card, so uh been getting used to that. We’ll be getting used to this feeling as well, lifting a trophy. Many, many congratulations. Congratulations. You’re a wonderful winner. Well done. If you can hold on to it, it’s yours.
