Kevin Kner has got plenty on his plate right now. Knisser of course does plenty of work as a broadcaster and he will be one of Keegan Bradley’s vice captains later this year when the writer cup gets to Beth Paige. It has been a pretty miserable year on the golf course for Kevin Kner with the 41-year-old going into the 3M Open having missed 12 of 14 cuts on the P. He was also the star of TGL when it came to delivering entertainment in the Sofi Center earlier this year. Unfortunately, his form on the golf course has suffered. Kner’s best finish heading into July was tied for 70th place at the Valpar Championship. He had missed the cut in every other event he had played. GA Tour in 2025 dot. But that run ended at the ISO championship as he finished in a tie for eighth. And he has opened up his week at the 3M Open with a four under par round of 67 at TPC Twin Cities. It seems that he has enjoyed a lot more success on the greens. He was sixth for strokes gained putting on his previous start. According to the PGA Tour website, he was asked about any changes he had made to his putting recently, and he noted that he had taken inspiration from Scotty Sheffller, the putter. I started putting with a claw at some point this year, and it sure has been a nice turnaround. I don’t know why that changed. I felt awful over the putter for the last year and a half and missing a lot of short ones. I just grabbed it with a claw one day and started making the short ones, he said. So, I kind of branched it out a little bit like Scotty did, like Scotty does, and then I just went all the way through the bag. So, the ball’s rolling like I remember it rolling, and that’s nice to see. So, I don’t know what it does, but it feels nice.
