Information about what is new for 2024.

[Music] hello everyone and thank you for joining us in this uh golf firm Edition for member guest uh joining me today is Kyle Baler he is our food and beverage director here at Harris and Lake uh to talk about a few of the uh new items for the food and beverage part of the event um so one exciting part of this is breakfast is back so be sure to get there early for your round but the other big thing that we’re getting a lot of questions on is the chef Cookoff which is going to take place on Friday night um Kyle I’m going to turn it over to you let you talk to us about it thank you yeah thanks Austin so yeah I want toce myself like I said Austin said I’m KY for I’m the food and beverage director for Harrison Lake and so we’re just getting ready to start into our member guests and I’m excited to be a part of it and just kind of see what we’ve done so this year a little bit we’ve been getting a lot of questions and I’m here to elaborate on our cook off so we are going to break our teams our team our back of the house staff into three teams of two and they are going to prepare for you some different appetizers Entre and desserts and with this you guys will be able to see some new items we’re featuring and possibly featuring the DI and you guys will get to vote on those options and see so it’s opportunity for you guys to meet our chefs and our Cooks in the back and get to know them and kind of taste some of the food they’ve been preparing for you um and so I’m excited to get to meet everyone and I think this is a great opportunity for you guys to let your voice be heard and get to decide what kind of food we have on the menu coming up based upon your votes with your poker chips so like I said I’m excited I’m looking forward to this event and can’t wait can’t wait to have it awesome so uh for those of you playing in the event uh that is part of your entry fee so you can come uh for no extra charge you can bring a plus one uh for a $60 fee to be a part of that uh Kyle would you expect the food that night to be something that we’ve seen on the menu before or would you expect it to be completely new I think it’s going to be completely new the chefs are kind of working on we kind of kept a little secret so each of them kind of working together to decide we’re going to have so just fresh ingredients I mean these guys are getting stuff locally um some of the some of our vendors are actually selling out the farmers market here in Columbus and we’re actually providing the stuff on the menu every single night if you haven’t seen the smoker out front um we’re we’re smoking meat this week for our Texas Barbecue on Friday but a lot of big things to come for our food and beverage team so I’m really excited uh for you guys to kind of see all the things and all the hard work that Alan Mar and Sten putting in and just like I said it’s just going to keep rolling forward and we’re just making great food to pair with the Great Golf we have here in Harrison awesome well glad to have you on team look forward to working with you and look forward to a great event ABS thank you [Music] guys thanks for joining us everybody so we are out here on hole number two which will be the home to our glowball competition Connor tell us about it so on Thursday night the Stag Night of the member guest week we will be doing our first glowball competition out here on the course it will be a closest to the PIN competition where the top five will be rewarded in shop credit you’re going to be hitting two glow-in-the-dark golf balls at the pin on hole two we’ll be it’ll be closest to the pin we’ll measure it out the night of we will have a bar out here for drinks or a little bit of liquid courage if that’s needed you will be hitting in front of a crowd uh we hope you sign up and we’re really looking forward to it thank you be sure to tell your significant others if they want to come out and watch that night they’re absolutely invited so be sure to everybody’s aware uh the first thing you do have to have six scores posted both you the member and your guest post by August 20th okay if you do not have six scores posted it will be a deterrent to your handicap you’ll end up playing at 75% of that index if you do not have three scores posted you will not be eligible for the event so be sure to get those scores posted in the next couple of weeks the other thing you’ll see in this um email you should have received an email from Aaron a couple days ago about the Grayson t gift uh that link will um be tagged below where you can go in fill it out and have the uh order ready for you whenever you come to the event um if you have any questions with that please let us know this is our first run with them so we uh we can definitely uh talk to them to get anything straightened out that you need additionally uh we’re very excited about a couple of the new things coming up with the chef cook off and the par three so if you want to be a part of those be sure to let us know uh the Google form that I’ve been sending out uh most of you have filled it out we still have about 10 to um complete that list but uh be sure to get me that information also by August 20th so that we can go ahead and start setting flights and get the rest of the information to you uh we appreciate you if you uh if this is your first time planning the event and you
