What you are doing with those irons isn’t use, it’s abuse. The first mistake you made was picking up clubs, the second mistake was not getting lessons so you could learn a proper golf swing. There is absolutely nothing anyone can do to give advice on that swing except tell you to seek out a qualified professional and learn an actual golf swing from the ground up.

New clubs should do the trick.

Start by watching a video of a golf swing, then at least try to do something like that.

Problem is youre using the wrong type of hockey stick.

To be brutally honest, you aren’t doing anything right. There’s no single fix that anyone can articulate through Reddit. You need someone to walk you through the basics of grip, setup, posture, alignment, rotation. See a pro.

You need to bend your knees a little, don’t be so stiff, and keep your head down.

👍 good swing

Looks good to me. Maybe a slight head dip at impact. Otherwise tournament ready.

Have you seen someone swing a golf club before?
comptechrob
Not taking lessons. They’re not that expensive and just one or two sessions will completely change the whole game for you. If you plan on spending anymore money on golf (equipment, range, course), lessons must be the next step or every single penny is a waste

You’ve been blessed by the golf gods, swing looks great.

Like everyone said, this is perhaps the worst golf swing I’ve ever seen. Lessons or at least some golf tutorials about the basics is what you need.

Have fun, brother you need to take a lesson or two imo

What you’re doing wrong is not getting lessons.

1) Hitting of a turf mat as a tee;
2) Where is your glove?
3) Setup – athletic posture
4) Check your grip
5) Why is your left foot coming off the ground on backswing?
6) Keep your head still
7) Keep your left arm straight
Thats like 1% of it, oof
