I hadn’t really considered golf in my quest to find a hobby. But with The Open taking place in Portrush last week and the KPMG Women’s Irish Open coming to Carton House earlier this month, it began to seem like the most logical choice. My housemate Colm could run a fan account for Carton House. He’s been going on about it for weeks.
After a quick Google search, I was staring at photos of their luscious, manicured grounds, and I wanted to go there. I was searching for something on the softer side of the hobby spectrum. Something glamorous, and not too difficult.
