Hey golfers, I’m Drew Mahol with Second Swing Golf here back on the Second Swing YouTube channel for another live at lunch and it’s been a big couple weeks in the golf space. There’s some new irons out there uh on the market and so we wanted to test them today and we have a special guest with us. Emma Carpenter is with us uh ambassador of Second Swing. Um she’s all over the place when it comes to golf right now. So uh first of all, Emma, thank you for joining us. Um this is your first time here at our kind of office golf space. So, appreciate you joining and um we’re going to test some irons and then we also have some giveaways to uh do a little bit as well for the viewers that are live right now. So, stay tuned for that. But Emma, how are we doing today and are we I know you’ve hit the titleist irons, you’ve been fit for the titleist irons, so we’ll get to those. Um but how are we feeling about today? Feeling good. Thanks for having me. Yeah, this space is awesome. My first time here. Uh good to be back in Minnesota. Good to be back with you guys. Uh but yeah, no, the Titleist irons are so good. We were chatting a little bit about it. It’s like, how do they do better? And then somehow they do better. So, yes, it it’s that’s for sure been my take with the TSR to GT. Um, and then now with the T series irons, we’re going to hit you’re going to hit the T250, which is my favorite iron of their new lineup. So, that’s what I got fit for. Yeah, Emma got fit for T250. So, that’ll be a fun one to hit. So, um, what we’re going to do is first we’ll start with I240. And then what we’re going to do for the viewers that are joining, and I’ll keep reminding people of this as more people join, before the giveaway for Emma’s fifth shot with the I240, you got to guess her carry distance. All right? So, you’re going to drop in the chat, guess what her carry distance is. We’ve got it on screen here. And the closest to that number is going to win a $50 gift card or $50 credit to Second Swing. So, that’s what we’re going to start with. We’re going to start with the I240. And um we’ll see what what happens here. So, I’m excited for this. This will be interesting. So, all right, let’s do it. Should I grab the i240? Yeah, let’s do that. And I’ll ask you for some look and feel and and all those things. I was going to say I was going to ask you to tell me about it. But yes, the i240 the I the ier has been fantastic. So, they’ve had the i210, the i230. Um, and now this i240 is out and it’s I think it’s I play i210 for a long time. It’s a really good players iron that’s not super tiny, super small, and gives some really good performance on it. So, um I’m I’m excited about it for sure. Um let’s see if we can get going here with that. And then I better tag it as well. Do the I240. While you do that, I’ll tell you a little bit about look and feel. Definitely. It’s like definitely feels like a thicker head. Feels uh like like just by the look of it, you could tell like is it it game? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. That’s the similar feedback to what I’ve heard as well and I’ve seen is is people at first it kind of from the back badging especially it might be like oh this is kind of a larger iron but then you put it down it’s really compact and clean. So I think they do a really good job with it. Right. Right. a few shots here. Let’s see what we got. All right. Well, kind of a pull pull hook just a touch, but I mean, and you you’re a draw player, so we’re going to see that right to left movement here. That part not concerning. Um, but I think what’s I mean, what the viewers should be paying attention to is where your carry number is here. Um, and we are going to go to the decimal. So if someone guesses 150 and then someone guesses 150.4 and it ends up being, you know, 150.3, the decimal guess is going to be the winner. So all right. So first swing out of the gate. We got at 149 then and I hit that fairly fairly solid. It did go left as well. So here. Didn’t catch that one as good. Yeah. Okay. I actually like how you know it it was that what maybe a little bit fat or it was a little fat but it like the first one like whenever I pick up an iron that I feel like just looks easy to hit. I feel like it feels easy to hit as well. I mean I feel like that’s just kind of common sense, but whenever an iron looks easy to hit, the second you put it down, it feels like it just has a little pop. Yeah. And I know you’ve opted in the past for a little bit maybe larger club head than kind of the the the the blades, right? You’ve been playing those. You kind of like you kind of like your distance and your launch on those. Yeah. Which is funny because every single time I go and get fit, they put blades in my hands and like I’ve hit some buddies blades at the range and stuff and I always hit them really well and they’re like, “Come on, you need the blades.” But then once I and it al does stem back to look a lot of the times because then when I’ve set down a club like this, I just feel really confident. And so with that being said, as opposed to like the T200, which we’re going to hit shortly, like that’s, you know, popular iron on tour and like it’s just it’s a lot harder to hit. It’s not as forgiving as a club like this. So it’s just this feels a lot better when I look down on it. All right. So that’s shot three. And I’m gonna let the the viewers know again, shot five, um, we are going to do the giveaway. So, drop your your guesses in the chat now. We’ll start seeing those. Um, if you have a guess as to what Emma’s carry number is going to be with her fifth shot, here are the ones so far. We’ve we’re kind of hovering around 150 yards so far through three shots with the I240. So, that’s what we’re seeing right now. So, any any number that you can throw in there and then we’ll give a $50 giveaway or $50 gift card. I was trying to hit like a cut and I kind of just hit it dead dead straight with a little draw again right at 150. You’re kind I mean I will say you’re really consistent. So if we look if we bring up this this map here you’re hitting this pretty this little draw every single time which I like. So you got this uh well it’s you know it’s a pretty similar if I can bring up let’s see if we can hit all of them at once so we could see the the uh there we go. See, the trajectory is the same every time for you. Sometimes it turns over a little more than you would like, but um Okay, so here we go. We got a few guesses in the chat already. What are they guessing? They’re guessing that we’ve got 147.6 151.3. We got a plenty of good ones here. All right, so um this is kind of the deadline right here for the guesses. Now, we’ve got a swing to watch here. Oh, that was my best one. Okay, that’s a good swing. 150.5. I’m looking here. Let’s see. We’ve got a 151.2 from Cameron. That looks like to be the closest right now. Yeah. 151.2 from Cameron. Is it Keel or Cool, I believe, is the how they pronounce that. So, Cameron, what you’re going to do is email contestswing.com. contests at seconds.com. $50 gift card for you. Wow. 150 yards, $50 gift card. So, he was only he was only.7 off. Yeah, he was he was pretty close. Within a yard. He’s within a yard. So, that’s pretty good. And we, you know, we helped out a little bit by showing and discussing the first few shots. Um, I do want to after five swings there, just talk about numbers with the I240 and kind of how you felt that performed for you after five swings. I will say one thing I love is how consistent the spin rate was for you. It was almost the same every single time in this kind of 56 to 5800 range give or take there. Dang. Even in the one that I chunked. Correct. Yeah, that’s that’s that’s how you know it’s a really good club for sure. Right. And even if we you know, let’s say we Here’s that shot on the screen. If we were to, you know, for fun, you knew that was a miss. All all these other shots are right next to each other out there, right? So, you know, we’re talking about a very similar performance on on every swing there, which I like to see. Right. That’s uh that’s pretty good stuff right there. Any other thoughts that you had on the feel or the performance of that? No, I mean gosh, I I really like it. I feel like it’s it’s one of those clubs where, you know, have you ever hit a golf club where when you’re swinging it, you kind of have like no idea what it’s going to do? With this one, I feel like before I even hit the golf ball, I had a really good idea what what the shot was going to be. And um even like on that last swing, like that was definitely it was definitely probably my best swing. I I mean I could have got couple more yards in terms of like hitting it really in the screws, but like as for like a really stock shot. Yeah. All the way from start to finish at the setup, I felt like I I knew what what it was going to do. And it definitely if you are looking for some yardage, I feel like this club does kind of have that pop. I don’t know what the loft is, but there’s a little bit of a distance packed in there without being super aggressively, you know, strong lofted. And um you know, you can still work the ball or hit the shot that you need to hit. Exactly. And you’re hitting the draw the draw that you want to hit. Some of these clubs out there are so distanceoriented that they won’t really curve the ball. Just be dead straight. And you know, some players want to hit dead straight. Some others want to hit the draw that they’re that they’re thinking of like you are. So, um so I will I will remind the viewers again, we’re going to do one more of those $50 gift card giveaways here towards the uh later on in the stream. I think what we should do is when you’re hitting the T250s, which are going to be your gamers, we’ll do it then. So, um, let’s let’s get to the T series now. Do you want to start with T100 or you want to start with T350 and work your way? I’ll kind of give you the option. Oh, I think you know what? I think we start with the 100. Okay, we’ll start with the T100 then. Perfect. Start with the T100. So, this that’ll actually be pretty similar, you know, a little closer to what you just hit. Probably a little smaller in how it looks. Yeah, definitely smaller, thinner. I mean, I I do just love the look of titalist irons for sure. Um, something about Now, tell me if I’m wrong, Drew. Yeah. Something about the way that the ping iron looks like right here in the heel feels like the heel is it’s definitely a different shape. Yeah, I think it’s it’s probably the a little bit of the offset. There’s a little bit more with the I240. Um whereas T100 is a little bit more of the classic players traditional. It’s almost it looks like a blade from a dress. There’s just a little cavity in the back, right? Um but you can Yeah, it’s it’s a very good it’s a very clean shape. I mean T100 is almost instantly every time there’s a new one released, the most popular iron on tour. And so there’s a reason for that. So they they made a couple changes to it this year, especially with the specs. They actually moved it one degree stronger in loft. Um, but they noticed that a lot of players on the PGA tour wanted more bounce and so there a lot of players on the PJ tour are still weakening it back to the loft from last time and just adding some bounce to it. So interesting little things there that um, you know, the feedback that they get that none of us are going to be privy to, I guess. Right. Right. Wouldn’t that be pretty cool if you just had a request and a manufacturer manufacturer like, “Yeah, we’ll do that for you.” You become a top 100 or 200 player in the world, you can you can do that stuff, right? Well, that was a that’s a good swing right there. That was a good swing. Yeah, I noticed a little bit, too. It sounded a little bit more muted, maybe. Is that 100%. And well, I know that Ping hasn’t Ping like gone through, and this might not be true with the irons, but hasn’t Ping gone through lots of evolution in terms of how their golf club sound? Yes. especially well this is for sure true in the metals um driver you know with Ping’s G425 um a few generations ago I always tell people in the store if someone was hitting you know one of the demo bays you could hear across the store I would be like oh they’re hitting a Ping G425 but they’ve really refined it a ton and now Titalist this is a T100 and and that’s in terms of soft sound and feel this is about as good as it gets yeah yeah unless you want your your iron to sound really loud mode. You’re right. Oops. See, there’s that leftness again. It actually didn’t go as far left as maybe you had thought. Yeah, I think I just the way you reacted, it was like, “Oh, that’s way left.” Well, it felt a little thin, so it felt like just kind of like wipy like this, but I mean, the smash is still really high. Like carry is still really good. What’s the loft on this compared to the ping one? They’re actually the same now. They’re both at 33° T100 and um I240. So, and as you hit now, this is every iron you hit from after this is going to have stronger loft or lower loft. So, you should hit them a little further. A little further. It was a little towy. Yeah, I do like how your spin rates are staying pretty darn consistent throughout here. You’re not getting a lot of fluctuation. Even though on on like that shot, you didn’t love how the contact was. Yeah. It still gave you that little draw. It’s just maybe six to seven yards shorter than than you would be otherwise. Interesting. Interesting. All right, Drew. Uh why don’t you I know there’s no giveaway. Why don’t you guess this next one? You want me to guess the next one? Yeah. Yeah. Okay, let’s go. 152.4. Okay. So, you picked kind of right in the middle. Safe answer. Kind of 152.4 carry. Let’s see. Okay. All right. I’m within a yard, though. I’m within a yard. Yeah, you’re within a yard. I didn’t even I did not even get all that either. Not even close. Was that a little thin maybe as well? Yeah. Okay. But guess we had a couple more. Yeah. It’s also kind of impressive to me, I feel like I’ve always noticed about titalist clubs is like even when I thin them, I feel like they still get kind of high in the air. Yeah. Like the height on Right. I mean, your average right now is 82 feet. That one you said was a little thin and it only dropped 5T of the total, you know, or the peak height, I guess. Sure. Okay. This is going to be better one. Pushed interesting on that one. So the club face was just open there. Yeah, I was going to say that’s just probably kind of a Well, this is a good kind of physics lesson in a way. Well, this this is the thing. This is the thing. Okay. Right. This makes a lot of sense. So, the very first swing that I made was like really really good. Right. That’s the thing about the small thin head. And actually, when you get fit, my most difficult fittings are when I was just hitting the ball so well and it was just like, okay, you’re kind of hitting every golf club well right now, right? As opposed to something like this, like, you know, I’ve hit some good shots, I’ve hit some bad shots, and this, you know, this is objectively a really awesome club, but not great for my bag. Yeah. I mean, because you you want to have a little bit of that that help on the m hits and um a little bit of distance as well. And actually, one thing I wanted to point out here is we I’m going to pull up the the dispersion maps and stuff. Yeah. Um but uh with this your it’s kind of a physics lesson here on this last one. This one shot I guess number 59 over here. We’ve hit a hit a few warm-up shots in here before we went live. Um just a few, but we had uh the spin went up this way. And I say that as important because when you open the face of a club or it’s open, the the tendency is that more spin as a result of that. So, um, if you feel like you’re you’re a player that hits it out to the right or you miss with a kind of a slice, you’re also losing a ton of distance because it’s spinning way more than it should. Yeah, this is a a pretty minor example of that. You’re you’ve had this draw tendency and you hit one over here that’s not like that. The result is way more spin. So, that’s just a a note for anybody watching or listening that, you know, if you miss out to the right, a lot of the time it’s going to also go shorter because it’s going to spin more because that’s why the the misses or for a right-handed golfer, short right or long left. Exactly. I mean, you’re seeing this in this map here, too, you know, but well, and it’s funny because also draws spin less, meaning that they might run out more. And but for me, I always made the decision to go back to draws because I was long for a female college player. So then because I had a shorter iron in my hand or a wedge, like it was completely fine because I was getting more spin even though I was hitting draws because the club was shorter. So I never felt like I had to switch to cuts because the spin was never an issue for me. Right. Yeah. Yeah. And that’s got to be a really nice benefit to have. you know, when you’re hitting it farther than everybody, then you have shorter clubs in and you don’t have to worry as much about that. I did want to point one more thing out here, and that is the dispersion. I I took that last shot out because knowing your game, that’s kind of a clear outlier. So, as you when you take it out, you see how small that dispersion gets and how consistent the numbers get there. Um, but so in my I guess I just wanted to point that out. Really good performance uh from both of these so far. If you’re a player looking for consistency, hitting the same same shot every time, you’re going to get that from both of these. So, I think we can go down to T150. And I want to get your feedback on that as to how if it looks much different than T100 because it probably doesn’t look much different here. Hang on. Oops. T150. It’s funny. I was able to I picked up the just the one that was next in order and I was like, this doesn’t look like the 150. It was a 350. Oh, yeah. That’s a little different. So, yeah. Boy, this doesn’t look very different. Yeah, it’s probably very similar. I I do want to call out Will in the chat right now on the YouTube chat talking about the LB1 irons. I played those all last year. I love them. Um I just opted this year for a little more forgiveness with a player’s cavity, but um LB1’s are a really good iron. I believe there’s some sets on segments.com if you’re uh interested or looking at them. Um Larry did pretty well with those for sure. I I’ll I’ll vouch for those. So T150. Yeah, they’re like it’s like fractionally bigger than T1. But you probably can’t notice it on a quick glance with a naked eye. You probably can’t notice it. Once you put them up next to each other, then you can tell, but at first it’s like, wait, I think this is the club I just had. Yeah, it’s it’s I think that’s by design. They they’re trying to not um they they didn’t want they want them to be different, but not barely different enough. They wanted to give the player that needs a little bit more speed and distance something that’s um pleasing to look at. Well, it’s funny because something that we talked a lot about when we were shooting all the promotional promotional stuff for the launch is that they specifically design it in so that players can have mixed bags. And if you want your longer iron to be more forgiving, but you want your shorter shorter irons to be like the T100 or the T-150, you can put in the T250 or the T350 and it’s not going to feel like it’s a different set of golf clubs. like it will still look and feel the same even though it’s not. So, it’s genius. And they actually said that because of this engineering that they’ve implemented, more and more players on the PGA Tour are choosing to have mixed bags of irons. Oh, a ton of them. Yep. It’s almost more It’s way more often than not that players have two, three, or four iron sets within their bag or iron models within their bag. Right. So T150, I am anticipating you hit this further, maybe three yards further. So I’m going to say like 154 yards will be your average carry. All right. Oh, that was hit really well. So you guessed three three yards. I mean I was your average with the other was 151. Okay. With the 200. Um, and so I I moved I I kind of just guessed 154 here. Okay. Oh, you hit two. Both of these you hit really well. Oh boy. Yeah. Might be hitting this one a little further than I thought. Those two really good ones. To be fair, that that one did turn over a little bit more. Maybe I should switch to a cut for a shot or at least just like a cut feel so it draws a little bit less. Oh, how about Drew? Why don’t we just delete that one? Well, I don’t know. It’s kind of getting me closer to my average guest, so No kidding. But no, um, that happens, you know. Rewind. You know what? I’ll just go a little little check box there and we’re good to go. Okay, perfect. We We want to give actual real numbers here. 34. Okay. Is that a little bit of a mishit as well? I was going to say it wasn’t perfect, but a little bit closer to to a good cut. A little bit closer. Yeah. Okay. And then um I’m also going to again, as more viewers jump in, um we’re going to do a $50 second swing credit giveaway here when Emma hits her next club. So, we’re we’re on T150 right now. She’s going to get teed 250 with her next club and we’re going to do a giveaway uh similar to the beginning of the stream here. So stay tuned for that. How about that? Oh, interesting. Is that another kind of that? That’s just the one that’s just like a little bit towy. It’s just like a little bit right. It’s a little bit spinny. Interesting. Let’s get one more up there. Okay, let’s get one more. Now we’ve got I think five full swings with each, but we’ll add one here. That was like hits. So that was my best. So you’ve got some like really really really good contact with a few of these and then a few of them you just kind of missed almost. Yeah, I was going to say that one right there was like Yeah. as about as good as it gets. That was It’s also, you know, I know you’ve been kind of uh it seems like you’ve been kind of annoyed about how much is turning over. Yeah. And this one didn’t uh it didn’t really turn over. So, yeah. Well, that one I was I just kind of was like, “All right, just turn and swing a natural swing.” And that’s, you know, that’s what my golf swing is doing right now. I was kind of close. I was said 154ish and it’s 153.3 was the average there. I will say you were you were very close. your and the spin went down a little bit which is expected. Um you know with lower loft the spin should go down a little bit more. So this is kind of progressing as I expected here. Um otherwise yeah th this is exactly the sort of ovals that we we typically see there where if you if you miss it a little bit especially with an iron like this where it’s a little bit of a player’s iron you’re going to see that distance drop a little bit um when it’s out to the right like that. But wouldn’t you see Isn’t this supposed to be more forgiving though? It is than the T than the T100. It should be. Yes. Now granted, this is a small sample size. So I think over a grand, you know, if we were to give you 20 to 25 swings with each, we might see the a more accurate representation of how that dispersion plays out. But um I think what we’ll see now, we’ll start to start, you know, that dispersion might be getting a little smaller as we get to these bigger clubs. I will say something about stronger lofted irons is that at least um and look I did love the Mizunos that I was using in the past, but something about those Mizunos that I had, they were strong lofted. I hit them awesome. I hit them far, but like now and then they would go too far. Like and that’s the thing when you have irons that are really strong lofted, I feel like you will get a shot that goes an extra like four yards, which is like that can be detrimental at times. Yeah, that’s that is the main concern and that’s why a lot of, you know, the players that I’m watching on the at the open, very few of them, if any, have anything that’s bigger than a like these irons here um in their bag. So, right. Um all right, let’s go with the T250. So, again, we’re moving to the T250. Emma’s fifth shot that she hits. Um we’re going to do a giveaway for whoever can guess closest to the carry yardage. This will be a little different than the I240. Now, we’re talking about an iron. This is a little stronger lofted yet. This is going down to I think I want to say 30 or 30° with this one. So, that should look a little different. It should feel a little different, but we’ll give you a few swings. The the viewers watching right now, we’ll give them a few swings to look at some some numbers and see some trends and see where Emma’s uh hitting this one. What do you think? Actually, maybe we shouldn’t be giving them any hints. I was going to ask you what you uh I I think you’ll be in the 160s potentially. You do? I was going to say, do you think I’ve got 160? This should be a pretty step a decent step ahead of the T100. I think that was Oh yeah. Oh boy. Yeah. 164. That’s going to happen when you hit a shot like that though to be fair. Oh yeah. When it I mean the more it goes left and especially with the spin it’s going to go down. We’ve got a couple guesses already in there. Um, keep throwing them in there. What are people guessing? We will. We have 161. We got a 154.4. Do you only get to guess once? I get You got You get to guess once. If someone’s in there guessing twice, that’s they’re they’re no longer eligible. So, people are already guessing before I hit four shots. Yes. Which I respect. That’s good. All right. 156.7. Okay. So, get your guesses in and we’ll we’ll call the the deadline or the, you know, last chance to submit is after her fourth shot, which is this the fourth shot here? No, this is the third coming up. This is coming up to be the third. Okay. So, once she hits the fourth shot of this set of five, no more guessing. That was that little toe. That’s shot right there. Okay, I’m giving a wide sample. You have you you’ve been in the 160s. You were down here with 153. So, a little bit. We Yeah, we got a If you connect with one, it’s going to be in the 160s. Like, if you hit it dead center. All right, that was a push, but I hit it good. Okay, so that was the fifth shot, right? That was the fourth shot, was it not? Or was that the fifth? Oh my gosh. I should Did I hit it too many times? Okay. No, no, no. We’re good. We’re good. That’s me being stupid. That was the fourth shot. Okay, so no more guesses. This is shot five. Um, we have a bunch of guesses here in the chat. This is the fifth shot. We’ve got guesses in here from We’ve got a 166.7. We’ve got a 150. We got a couple 154s. A lot of high 150s. Whoever guessed 166.7 is like she’s hit it left way too many times for this. That first shot you hit was like 164 or something. So yeah, a little adrenaline on this final shot. All right. All right, you guys. Wow. I’m a little nervous. I’m like I’m not even guessing for 50 bucks and I’m still kind of nervous. Got some adrenaline, you guys. Okay, that’s a good that’s a good swing. I mean, that’s a good swing. It was not perfect, but pretty good. I mean, 159.8. Okay, so let’s see. 15960. You’re guessing good. You said 159.8. We have a 159.6 from Kip. That has to be the winner. Kip. 159.6. Yeah, that’s within two ten of a yard. Yeah, that has to be the winner. 159.6. That’s Kip. Did anybody really chirp me and is just like pro this? She’s going to chunk this. It’s going to go 130. You know, I I Hey, I respect the how you’re able to hit the shots with kind of all this going on and hit good swings here. So, yeah. Looks like Kip, unless I’m wrong, someone can can correct me in the chat, but I think Kip’s going to win. So, Kip, make sure you email [email protected]. I believe we’ve got a friend in the chat helping us repping Second Swing as well. So, uh, so that now let’s talk let’s talk numbers here with the T250. So, this is the one that you’re actually playing or going to be playing. Yep. Um, what, uh, what do you notice about that compared to T150 T100 that you just hit? Well, I I tell you what, like when it was the same thing when I did the fitting. Wow. It seems like it’s Yeah. In terms of distance, it was actually the most consistent, wasn’t it? Yes. Which is kind of by design here. Yeah. Yeah, that makes sense cuz even the one that I kind of missed way left, that big pull, it only went an extra like three, four, which kind of says a lot. Um, but boy, when I when I did the fitting, uh, I remember being like, I liked all of the clubs. Like, a lot of times when you do a fitting, and I’m not just saying that really, a lot of times when you do a fitting and you’re kind of like, oh gosh, get this club out of my hands. This, but genuinely, I was like, all of these irons are very good. Um, this one I just was like the most excited to hit. It was the most fun to hit. When I flushed one, it felt so good. It all feels good when you flush one. But, uh, when we were just looking at the numbers, uh, my launch was really solid, my land angle was really solid, and the distance was really solid. So, um, it was just I mean, it’s it’s it’s all carrying over here because you have a launch at about 21°, but the peak height is the highest of all of them. Yes. So, it it seems like it fits the way you deliver the club pretty darn well, right? Which is interesting. And the distance is the most consistent up there. So looking at this plus or minus figure here, which is kind of the average deviation um of the carry distance, and it’s the smallest of each club so far, which tells me it’s the most consistent, right, in the carry distance, which is I think pretty valuable. So the T250 pretty good fit. Again, you hit the furthest so far, hit the highest so far, most consistent distance. Like I can see exactly why um the T250 fits you the best. Yeah. Lucas bro at Titalist was always like, you can never hit the golf ball too high. Like the higher you hit the golf ball, the better. And this club was going the furthest and the highest. So even though the 350 is the even bigger head, uh I this one just kind of felt where I’m curious now. We’ll hit T350. You’re probably going to hit this one a little further. Even further, right? Um but I don’t know if it’ll be as high. That’s where I’m curious because it’s going to be another we’re going stronger loft once again here to the, you know, I think it’s 29 degrees. So, which is about a degree and a half again. So, we’ll see what happens with this one. All right. And I’ll send I’ll send a reminder out as well um to those watching if you missed it. We did a couple giveaways um for $50 gift cards. We had some winners guessing some distances Emma’s going to hit. We’re going to continue to do this more often on our live stream. So, make sure you’re sticking around and and scheduling appointments for yourself to watch us Thursdays at 1 p.m. Central. We’re going to add these giveaways a little bit in more to kind of thank the the viewers for tuning in. So, T350. Now, Emma, tell me about how much different now that looks from the T200. This thing looks huge. It looks like a hybrid. Yeah. Um, but it doesn’t look bad. Like, it it’s it looks like a hybrid that I want to hit. Yeah, but I mean and not really a boy. Like I I’ve used irons that were not a whole lot different than these. Uh it’s just what I like about a little bit of a smaller thinner head is like especially when you’re coming out of the rough if if you don’t have like a perfect lie with an iron like this, it it doesn’t feel like you can attack it more, right? Like this just feels like it would sweep beautifully. Um, and I mean at the end of the day, it’s an easier iron to hit. The face is bigger, which means the center of the face is bigger. So, I mean, it’s it’s all designed to perform better on mish hits. That’s the end of the day. And right uh or the story at the end of the day. And so, that’s that’s what this iron is designed for. And it’s designed maybe the club face is a little bit thinner to give some extra speed to players that maybe can’t just pack it themselves. they they’re not swinging it fast enough to, you know, present the speed of T100 um is good for So, should I literally swing this faster than No, not necessarily that, but the the ball speed should be faster because the club face is a little bit thinner. Thick thinner. Thinner. Yeah. And so, the thinner club face will will make it a little bit more explosive. Um I guess generate more energy at at impact, if that makes sense. All righty. So, let’s uh I can go ahead. Yeah, go for it. I guess I have all these tracers. No, that’s okay. I don’t mind. Got to see all those those draws. Oops. That was bad. Wow. I mean, was contact bad or what? Or is it just the kind of all the That’s just the exact same miss. I’ve had at least one of those with every club. So, yeah. Yeah, that is kind of been your miss. That’s That is true. I did want to see something here. Okay. Oh, not not quite your furthest, but pretty close to your furthest in terms of total distance. I just wanted to show that cuz it’s even a swing you didn’t like. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. All right. Let’s do something better than that. All right. That was a little better, wasn’t it? Yeah, that was really good. Yeah, that’s pretty darn solid right there. There’s the draw. And again, right now, you’ve already gained from the first club you hit. You’re gaining about 15 yards. That’s crazy because you were we started with the T, you know, well, we started with the I240 and the T100, which are more of the players irons, and you were around 150 carry, maybe a little more than that on your good swings, right? And now we’re at 166.7. Oh boy. Yep. Wow, that was flushed. That’s the straightest shot I think of the day. Yeah, this the spin is so low though. Yep, that’ll happen. That’ll happen with lower loft means lower spin. And that’s where to me that’s again another reason why T the T250 is better for you. Yeah. Um because the spin with this, you’re hitting it farther and actually that that swing is over 100 ft in peak height, but is that spin enough to stop it on the green for you? You know, where the T250, you’re in a better spin rate window. Yeah. Where this is maybe a little bit too low, right? Shut the club face a little bit more, but it was like it was hit good. Yeah, smoking this one. Yeah, I could also just be getting a little warmed up, too. Well, you’ve hit a bunch of golf shots already. I know that’s true. But yeah, that’s this is kind of playing out exactly how I would have expected knowing knowing a little bit about these irons. Some questions in the chat. This is a Prov1 or Pro1X ball you’re using. This is a ProvX. Prov 1X. Okay. Prov 1X. And then these are in terms of shafts. There was questions about that too. This is these are just some kind of stock samples that Titus sent us um of the stock stiff uh AMTs. So um nothing um nothing this is not a fitting. We’re not trying to fit her for anything. She’s already been fit for hers. This is mere merely testing uh that we’re doing. Like that was really good. Those are good golf shots. Yeah, that was good. Those are good golf shots. Again, the spin is still under 5,000. I don’t know if you’ve hit one over 5,000 spin yet. No. And the first the the with the T100 and with the ping as well. That was like all like 54, 55, 56. Okay. I think we have is it one more shot? Oh, no. We got five up there. Five up there. Okay. So, this is this is pretty good. Swing. I mean, for what it’s worth, I know you said I’m not supposed to swing it faster, but I was swinging this one faster. And that that could be part of you’re just you’re in the zone here and warmed up and all that stuff. I told you something about the big head. You look at it and you just it looks it it looks bigger. It looks thicker and it just makes me want to like rip it. I don’t know. No, I I I totally kind of can can grasp what you’re saying there. So, um we’ve got the T350 at Look at how much lower that spin was there. Um that’s that’s kind of crazy. So I think that’s a problem. Yeah. Yeah. So you launched it a little bit lower than T250. Actually the peak height was pretty the same as T250. The concern for me would just be that spin that you know if you were to hit a say a 7iron or a 6iron or something trying to hit that onto a green there’s I think there’s a lower chance of you holding that onto the green and keeping it there. Whereas these clubs down here, the stopping power you have is a little bit more if that makes sense. Right. Right. Yeah. But I will say that’s a lot. I mean, you went from averaging about 150ish with the T100 and I240 like 15 yards and then you gained 15 yards. So that shows the distance gains that can be had with um you know going to something like this for your irons. Um but I will also add if we bring up the dispersion map, look at the dispersion circles that we like the best here. These are the These ones here are pretty small and consistent. This is the I240 and T and T100 and the T250 here distance-wise is really consistent as well. This red one. So, there’s a lot to like here. I mean, you got a good golf swing and you’re hitting the ball consistently. So, that’s obviously part of it, but the irons are also doing what what we kind of thought they would do, which is, you know, the next the next piece of this whole thing. So, any other thoughts that you have, Emma, in terms of all this testing? And I’m just kind of throwing a lot of data and a lot of a lot of words out there. Yeah, it’s always it’s always so interesting to look at. And I like I like how we kind of did them in order as well as you can see the numbers just kind of like gradually increase or gradually decrease depending on which depending on which category we’re looking at. I I mean it it’s I eat up the numbers and equipment and how you can actually literally make the exact same golf swing and just a change in the equipment can change the numbers which changes the result on the golf course. So I mean boy. So I mean you already said it. I was going to say based on me hitting five shots with each club, which club would you have put me in? Yeah. I mean, it’s it’s really cool that it it the numbers that are kind of spit out at us here are telling me exactly the clubs that you got fit into down a title list. So, right. Even when I’m not obviously hit some bad shots, hit some good shots. Like I I think that uh when I’m swinging at my absolute best, the T250 is the best. When I’m swinging at my absolute worst, the T250 is the best. And that’s what getting fit’s all about. Yeah. I mean, because you put a similar swing on each club. You know, we talk about club path over here. you know, a degree or two uh kind of open or to the right every single time here. You see that? And then the face to path was also a pretty similar number every single time, right? We’re just a couple degrees um and minus there. So, because of that, it’s a pretty good test. You were a great kind of test um you know, figure to use here when you’re swinging the same every time and that gives us all this information. So, um, yeah, I think the last thing to to remind people of is to, um, tune in to the Live at Lunches every Thursday. Um, also stay tuned for, um, we got a segment with Emma that we did for the Second Street Screen Thoughts podcast. We’re going to have that going up soon. So, stay tuned for that. Also, follow Emma on Instagram because you can follow all of her adventures there. So, uh, do that. Follow her on Instagram. Stay tuned for Live at Lunch. And I’ll let Emma sign off here. Uh, and, uh, tell people what is going on next week at the 3M Open. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Next week 3M open. If you haven’t been, be sure to go. There’s stuff going on all week long as well. Activations. A lot of people think PJ tour events are just about the golf, but it is a whole experience. And the 3M open gives it every single year and better. Weather. Weather’s supposed to be good, right? I think so. It’s not going to be super hot like every other year. So, yeah. I know. I know it. Well, that’s that’s the nature of being an outdoor sport, especially an outdoor sport that is four days in just the tournament, not even everything that happens before on ProAm day. Gosh, all all days are fun to go for different reasons, but absolutely check it out. TPC Twin Cities is the best. I played it a million times in college. Still one of my favorite TPC courses for sure. Yeah. Um, but come check it out. Dream Muffin is the best. All the PGA Tour pros I work with always say it’s the most underrated event. Just throwing it out there. Yeah. Yeah. It’s uh it’s a lot of good feedback on it. It’s a fun event. If you’re in the Twin Cities, go check that out. Thank you, Emma, for joining. Uh go get fit for these irons.

The audio is not good 😢 it’s off and on 😳
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for comparing the i240 with the Titleist irons. Is Emma going to play 5 wedges or will she bend the T250 weak?
Like the comparison but the audio is not up to par so missing out on most of the commentary… 😢

What shaft is Miss Emily using?
Great video, Emma is great. While spin is vital, land angle controls ball staying on green even more than spin. Please include in future testing , thanks.
T100 7i: 5600 rpm @ 151 yds carry + 9 yds rollout. T350 7i 4600 rpm @ 165 yds carry + 10 yds rollout. The T350 has +13 ft apex hight. And still you wine about T350 being worse than T100 in terms of stopping power? What a joke 🙂
Why does he always introduce himself as Drew Mahold The Second Swing golf??
