On October 22nd, 1963, just few months after the March on Washington, Bucky Lou will pass away at the age of 79. Bucky was undeniably a trailblazer. But to this day, he is still not in the Nason Memorial Hall of Fame. And the crazy part is he’s said to be buried just miles from where the Nason Memorial is even located. One reason why he might not be in the Hall of Fame is because the early African-American director committee disbanded in 2023.
