Man, I love JJ….but it just looks so weird with him there around two monsters of the game.

    It’s like that Seinfeld episode…Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle….Costanza?

Hate this schedule and will complain about it until my preferred order is restored

Back-to-back years of PGA and Open winner being the same

  4. Flimsy_Somewhere1210

Move the PGA back to August already. “Glorys last shot” or whatever.

  5. crispin2015

JJ’s win was the most impressive when you look at the corse, the field and the outcome. He was the only player under par.

Need a major back in August, the majors being over mid July is so lame

  7. So if you want to win a major, wear blue on the last day

  8. Lor_azepam

Scottie joining tiger and Ben hogan as the only players to ever win 2 majors by 5 or more shots in a single year is going to go way under the radar long term. His wins weren’t the most exciting but that’s a dominate major year

I know that the The Masters real win is the green jacket, but man that trophy is goofy lol

Imo I really really wish the PGA was back in July and it was the sweatiest contest in golf with a heat index of 110 in the shade.
That 2008 Southern Hills PGA there was a news segment on them cooking eggs on the sidewalk and then they threw ribeye on the sidewalk and grilled that to medium rare.

Unpopular take but I was really pulling for rose to get one after the playoff with rory.

    Some amazing stories this season

    Scottie is just a terminator

Masters remains one of the most compelling sporting events I’ve ever watched

Number of days from Tiger’s 1st-4th majors: 1197
Number of days from Scottie’s 1st-4th majors: 1197

If Scottie wins the US Open next year he will complete the career grand slam on his 30th birthday

  16. Old_Soule

    No that’s it’s over, what’s the point?

  17. This years masters was one of if not the best majors I’ve ever watched

  18. OutrageConnoisseur

    What a killer year.

    Rory completes the Slam,

Scottie bags two more, including a PGA redemption after Valhalla to get a US Open away from the Slam,

And JJ gets The Players redemption and a career defining win.

Really couldn’t ask for much more

Very impressive performance over four days. While others are capable of surges to bring themselves into contention, it seems no others are capable of the consistent percentage play that Scheffler is capable of.

how is the major season always over already in july

  21. No_Albatross916

I think 10 years from now the major we will remember the most is Rory getting the career slam at the masters

But Scottie is definitely the player of the year

  22. Monst3r_Live

back to back double major winners. whens the last time that happened?

  23. Ready_Scratch_1902

Jj almost won the players.  His game has turned a corner.

  24. I must admit, I didn’t think Scottie would win it. I always thought he struggled on links courses. So good for him.

I wonder how much mental focus will now go on the 2026 US Open?

  25. Frosty-Waltz1461

Solid year, my gut tells me this seasons majors will be memorable for years to come

  26. Looking forward to Scottie completing the career grand slam next year.

  27. scotte16

I am so happy for all of them. This is my first year watching golf and it feels like I could not have picked a better one. Scottie gets two more legs of the career grand slam in one season, Rory gets his green jacket, and an underdog wins the US Open in exciting fashion.
