Let’s talk about the issues with hooking the golf ball. Hooking the golf ball is a ball that curves to the left. Generally, it’s someone that closes the face too much. The ball there started just right at the target, curve to the left. My path there was from inside out. Inside out means I’m hitting the ball from the inside 10° and about 11° close with the face. So, we’re going to talk about checkpoint here in the follow through. So from the side view camera here, if I go through and my club face points down to the ground, that’s a closed face. If the face points up, it would be more open. So as I face the camera here, the checkpoint I’m going to give you is to do with the left hand. So if you’re swinging through, if the back of your wrist, so the logo on the glove here, points down to the ground, the face is going to be closed. If I point my back of my hand back towards me this way, another way to think about that would be if I swung through and and had my hands at the target like this, this would leave the face open. If I went hit through with the back of the hand facing the target, closed face, open face. So the checkpoint would be as you swing through for your back of your hand to point towards you in the follow through. A little bit like that. So, if I hit this shot now, it’s going to think about the back of my hand here as I go through pointing back towards the camera. You can see that ball pushes out to the right. So, that face was open. Now, that was too much. And that’s probably a good sign when you’re hooking the golf ball. You in practice, you want to do this a bit too much. So, that was like Yeah, actually only one degree open. So, I was swinging a couple of degrees into out, one degree open. Let’s do that again. So, I’m not actually going to go all the way through here. It’s a bit of a shorter follow through. You can see that there. I’m keeping my arms pretty straight. So, when you’re hooking the ball, just seeing that ball push out to the right is a good sign. Now, I’m still swinging inside out two degrees on that shot, but the face there was about two almost three degrees open as I went through. So, I’m still getting good speed. Felt like the back of my hands facing this camera. That helped me stop hooking the

Hi Nick. I struggle with this. Should the face be open at contact or square for the Stack and Tilt swing?
