[Music] as it pertains to hybrids and utility irons. Now, um again, this is one where I would almost probably argue in a lot of case, well, not necessarily, but there’s probably fewer utility irons in play for these players. Um, but anyway, is there a model in particular for maybe shallow swings that’s that you’ve seen work in either of these categories? Like you said, typically if somebody’s a shallower swinger, a driving iron may not Yeah. necessarily be in play. Um, with that being said, I’ve actually seen the U505 from Titus work pretty well for more shallow swinging individuals who want that utility iron. um just the width of the sole and then they’ve got so much weight just right behind that face. It the more weight you get down low, the easier it is for a shallow swinger to kind of launch that and consistently launch it. Um as the hybrids go, it’s tough to not go back to that G440. Yeah. You know, it’s just that same thing, a little bit almost smaller profile top to bottom. Yeah. So, if they’re catching it on the upswing, you’re still catching pretty close to that equator. Yep. Um, and then spin consistency is just one of the the better features in a golf club out there that I’ve seen work in the fitting bay. It’s um it’s wild how overwhelming the votes were in Fitter’s Choice for hybrids for G440. In the previous segment, we talked about steep swings and how G440 was your choice for the hybrids and then also in the SH. So, sounds like if you need a hybrid, G440, you really can’t go wrong. Um, and as someone who I actually like how they, you know, when I did some testing, I hit the two and the seven, which are very different in loft, right? But I think they also are designed to to be uniquely um positioned for each of those golfers that might play one, right? Because most people, you’re not going to have like a two hybrid and a seven hybrid in the bag, right? Two hybrid is probably a faster swing speed with maybe a little lower launch, right? could be a a steeper attack angle, but it’s it’s designed in that way to fit that player. Seven hybrid, although, you know, got the you see a lot of loft, it’s pretty shallow. It’s going to help get the ball in the air. Exactly. Right. Um, and they’ve they’ve designed the set of hybrids progressively so that it can be, you know, beneficial for all those those players. So, I think they’ve done a really good job with G440. I guess to your point, Drew, the say three two, three, and four hybrids have been a little better for the steep swingers. Yeah. The higher lofted hybrid is very good for the shallow swingers. Yeah. Um but yes, that’s a great point. A little bit shallower on the the higher lofted ones, just able to hit that center of the face a little easier. Yeah. Yeah, it’s been uh Yeah, that’s they I mean G the the G series Yes. ping. They They never They never miss. They’ve yet to disappoint. That’s for sure. [Music]

Love my old Taylormade Tour 4h 22 I played a new 2025 CW elyte & didn't mesh. Found a used like new Qi10 Tour which is very very different. I swing fast 101-104mph & with my Oban Purple 90x shaft it's my go too when long irons 4-5 acting up. The head is so different too! They are only $100 used on eBay too. It's So good.
Save some money and get the 430s….same same
I have a pretty shallow/flat swing. I have literally the entire Ping G430 hybrid set in my bag: from 2 hybrid to 7 hybrid with Tour AD IZ stiff 85g shafts. Greatest hybrids I’ve hit in my 18 years of playing golf.
