Um, we’re going to play nine today. This is the launch of the YouTube channel. This is the first video for you guys and hopefully we can set a precedent of where we’re at with our scores and then when we go to like do some challenges, we know where we’re starting at and we can get some good scores down the line. So, just wait for these two people to go and uh we’ll be getting cracking guys and this will be a fully scored back n at New Golf Course and then hopefully get some guests here for the next video. [Music] I’m pretty happy with that. Let’s go. Well, not not the greatest drive off the tea, but actually not awful. I mean, it could be it could be have been a lot worse. It could have been a lot better, to be honest. But that is what it is. I’ve only got I’ve got like 94 yards here, but that branch looks like it’s going to do me in. Uh I’m going to try and keep it low. We’ll see. It’s a risky one, but I’m going 54 degree here. Just try and keep it Try and keep it low. Oh, don’t go left. Sit there. Sit there. Sit there. It’s just rolled into the bunker in it. Just rolled in. I’m all right with that though. But I had no choice cuz if I’d have gone high, I’d have caught the branch and it would have just dropped down. Do you know what I mean? Okay, let’s go. Do you know what guys? I’ll take the bunker shot because it was either that or I was going to skull it and it was going to go over the back because that branch was was forcing me to play it low and playing a low wedge I think is always quite risky. But I think we’re in the bunker just to the left hand side of the green. I can’t quite see yet. Uh yeah, we are just rolled in. Not terrible. We’ll see how it goes. Right, let’s see how this one goes. Okay. I I you know, I didn’t want to This is my first bunker shot of the day, actually, and I didn’t want to um this to happen on my first hole of filming, but it is what it is. So, um I’m actually not too terrible with a a bunker shot. Um it’s it’s short. It hasn’t got that go that high. So, I think can’t touch the sand first. I got in trouble for that on the Tik Tok video. They are they are a luxury, not a right to me. So, okay, on to the 11th. Let’s go. Okay, guys. So, 11th hole, our second one today, and it is a 469 par five. So, you know, we want to really just you want to sort of dissect them two trees right down the center. Uh it’s quite a it’s quite an open fairway as well, you know. Let’s go then. I’m going to aim slightly off to the left. That ain’t bad. The annoying thing is it’s such a hard ground at the moment though, right? Once you get a lovely drive, it’s a lovely drive, but it’s just going to continue to roll towards the trees, which is a bit of a bit of a shame. But it was straight, so that’ll take that one. Let’s go. Nine iron. Nine iron. Super high. Right. I’m See, you can see how it’s blocked it out. But I’m going to try The wind’s a bit strong, but I’m going to try take it over the top of that sort of far end tree and try and bring it down at about 140 yards. Um, it’s a nine iron. It’s going to be a risky one, but I might play it a little bit right just for the sake of getting over the tree. I haven’t got my glove on. What happened there? Was I wearing my glove when I did the drive? I think I was, weren’t I? What a weird guy. Right. Okay. Oh, it does. Oh, mate. Exactly what you said. It is right next to the green. Let’s have some of that. That’s probably the best shot I’ve ever played in my life. Let’s go, guys. Let’s go. That is awesome. Right guys, I’ve just played probably the best shot of my life on our first YouTube video. Like, it doesn’t get better than that, does it? I got to assure you though, this is not my usual golf. So, please don’t expect this all the way around. Right, third shot. Get this on. We’re on green in regulation now. This is 56 yards. It needs to come up and stop pretty quickly because of that the way that B that green looks like it’s rolling off to the left hand side. So, okay. 56. Perfect, mate. Birdie sauce. Birdie sauce. Okay, so birdie putt. There was a It was a massive bit of spin on that ball. So, I’ve got quite a big pitch mark here. So, I’m going to make sure you repair your pitch marks. That’s the first thing. More people should do that, right? Okay. I’m going to take the pin out. What we saying, Daz? I reckon this for a birdie. It’s straight down the pipe, isn’t it? went for a park. Please don’t expect pars every round cuz it ain’t going to happen. Um, we’re playing well. That’s actually green side bunker sound as a What’s going on? I don’t know, mate. It was a little bit fat. I think I hit the floor, did I not? Yeah, it was a bit of a drive, but it was straight, so I’ll take it. You know what I’m saying? Let’s go, Dad. Annoyingly, we’re right up by the pin. Pin high, but just in the bunker. But this is a second shot on a par four, so who knows, right? Play it pretty high. Get underneath it. Get some sand up. Sit. Not awful. Didn’t get enough contact with the sand there. That’s a problem. But to be fair, two putts for a par. I’ll take that. Let’s go. Let’s go. Right. So, you’ve got a playable shot either way. But I think I’m going to go at this one a bit. They’re up there on the green now. So, I reckon I’ll be all right. Should I let them clear off? Pitching wedge 133 ys to the center. probably play 125. Now the drive is good. They got to follow it up with a decent shot because they’re on a par four here. My That’s That’s my um That’s my positioning wrong again, isn’t it? Yeah. That’s my biggest problem. It’s my biggest downfall. I think if I can get my positioning right, my game would be well better. But look, we’ve had a couple of good holes. We We were expecting a bad one. So, let’s pull up here and let’s get some putting done. I don’t really know how to play this. There’s no wind. It’s It’s a very downhill. It looks pretty straight. Not terrible. But is it a bit left? A bit right to left there at the end, wasn’t it? If I just I think I needed to play it right to left. You mean But for a bogey, for bogues, not the end of the world. bogey. I’ll take a bogey, guys. I mean, like, look, I’m an 18 handicapper, right? If I play to bogey golf and I get some pars along the way and I don’t get doubles and triples, we can end up with quite a good score. And this card has been put in for my England Golf app to get my handicap updated. So, look, it could be we come down a bit. Let’s see. Let’s see. All right, guys. Right, 14th hole, 386 y dog leg left. So, we need to try and keep it down the center of the fairway if left. Left if needed, but not right. That’s the plan here. Just not go right. And that is easier said than done. So, I want I want to play a free wood here. It’s about 228 yards to that tree. So, It’s a bit short, a bit right. Not what we wanted to do. Exactly what I said I didn’t want to do, but it’s playable. It’s in play. Let’s go, guys. Let’s get it back onto that bloody fairway. Let’s go. Right. Second shot. Then we’re about 184 183 yards out to the center of the green. We’ll play a play a seven iron about 165ish. Try and get it to roll onto that green. It’s quite a flat green as well, so it should be all right. It’s an absolute shot. Sit down. Sit. Sit. Sit. Beautiful. On the green. Perfect. It’s exactly what I wanted to do. It could have been a little bit more left, but you know, I’m not Rory Maroy, so let’s go. Right guys, we’re on for the best round to date, which is wild. Like, how is that happening? But we are on for a par again. We’re birdie putting now. So I don’t know what’s going on. What a shot. Daz Daz has played a corker. Right. So yeah, we are on for He’s big round. Nervous now. No swearing on YouTube, right? Bogey. Nah. Right. Par three. This is a nice little par three. Actually, this is the 15th hole. It’s 148 yards from the yellows. We’re playing off yellows, by the way, today, guys. Um, you’ve got to clear them bunkers and get it to enough speed on it to stop it. So, let’s have a look at this. Let’s see how we can do. I mean, this is quite a difficult hole, to be honest. It’s a difficult par three. That’s good. Think that was on the green. Think that’s on the green, guys. Slightly left, but to be honest, I was absolutely blinded by the sun. That’s right. Was it? Yeah. I think I think you’ve got to just touch before the green, otherwise you end up sailing past. But we’ll see. We’ll see how it goes when we’re up there, guys. Let’s go. Good shot. Right, guys. Can we just let like, you know, this is a pretty good shot. I’m pretty happy with this. I don’t know why I’m playing good golf. It’s just something’s happening here. YouTube golf’s happening, but I’m going to putt this. Two putts for par. This grass is nice. Shaded here. We’re on for our best round ever, guys. I’m actually properly nervous and I’m buzzing cuz we come on YouTube and we don’t mess it up. That’s what we need to do. Let’s go. Okay, so the 16th hole here, 444 yards. It is slight. It’s dog leg right. You’ve got to go slightly to the left of that big tree. If you got a big enough drive, you go straight over top of it. I ain’t. So, that ain’t going to happen. Um, right. Okay, let’s go. Exactly. Literally out the tree. Just didn’t have a big enough drive to go top of it. Yeah. Went through it. Not the wisest idea, but I did mean to go left a bit, so that’s all right. Is it? Let’s go, guys. We I think that drive was actually an absolute weapon. So, guys, a little bit about me. I think it’s about time to talk about um I started playing golf eight months ago and uh started up on TikTok and the lives were nuts in the simulator and everyone wanted to see live golf. So, here we are playing some live golf on YouTube. It’s all been called for. We’re getting on it and we’ve had some great opportunities come our way because of the Tik Tok. So, we’re going to do loads of this, guys. We’re going to we’re going to try and break into YouTube golf and see how well we can do. Who knows, right? The future’s bright, guys. Let’s go. Right. It’s actually looking down here, guys. This is actually a very good shot. We managed to pierce through that tree with the branch of that tree, land in the center of the fairway, and we are 163 yards out. So, I’m going to go eight iron. Try and get the bounce to roll onto the green if we can. Uh, try and avoid that bunker on the right ideally. And I have got a leaky right shot on an iron. So, what’s the lineup look like that? Okay. Ah, what the guys? I didn’t realize it was a par five. I’m actually all right with that. If I can chip this now onto the green. We got really lucky though. You know what we got lucky with? The slice hit a tree and bounced back out to the fairway. Otherwise, we would have been screwed. Okay. Uh, I’m not too sad about that, guys. I’m not sad. Look, I ain’t a scratch golfer, but look, we’re par five. We’ve got another shot. We’re 100. It’s a picture mode. It’s not bad, is it? Let’s go. Right. Look, the shanks are going to happen. I would have putted this, but it’s a quite a long way out. Um I’m going to go for a little It’s a 30 yard to the pin. Little 25 yard. But we have got 328 yards is a par4 and it ends at the clubhouse, which is always terrifying. Um, all we need to do is either you got two choices. Either thread the needle down the left hand side, which I’m not going to do. Um, or you go to the right hand side, open up the fairway, and then you got a single shot back into the into the green. So, after I said all that, let’s try and do it, but I don’t know how well we’ll go. Straight down the center. Sit. Just sit. Just sit. I think it’s just before the rough. Or maybe in the rough. Now we’re stuck behind them, but in a bit of a a bit of a terrible lie to be honest. Um I haven’t really got a shot out. I mean, I can I’m going to probably going to play a little dinky one down here. Flat down straight. This is all I can do, Daz, mate, if I’m honest. Yeah, I agree. Play it down there. Oh, you bastard. It’s okay. It’s out in the It’s out on the on the uh fairway. Actually got saved by the tree there cuz otherwise I got far too far. Okay, let’s go. Um, look guys, I’m not going to lie to you. We’re on for our best round. So, you know, let’s not let’s not shank it now, shall we? Come on. Get it up there. Get it nice and close. Get it to sit on that bloody green. Why do we keep doing this on this channel, man? Like on these videos. How did I get that so close, mate? That pitch mark must be on the edge of the cup. I mean, I could I think I’ve got about eight putts on this to get to get in. We’ve played unbelievably. So, okay, let’s go. Jeez. Okay, bogey. It’s a bogey, isn’t it? One. That’s annoying. Um, what do we get? It’s an 87. An 87. That’s good. That that is the best to date. So, now we know that the next series we start or the first series we do on here will be to break 80. That’s the mission, right? That’s good, guys. I mean, the first the front n we’ve only filmed the back nine, haven’t we? Yeah. Because because the front nine was a bit hectic. We had a lot of um was there was a lot of captain’s day thing today. So, um, back nine, 42, seven over on the back nine. That’s good. So, we’ve had we’ve done all right, guys. We’ve done all right. Now, look, I’ve I’ve played a full 18. We’ve only filmed half of it, but we’ve scored 87. So, that puts us three better than our previous, which means that we are now on our way to breaking 80. That’s what it’s got to be. So, guys, let’s get ready for break 80 series. Uh we’ve got some people coming to join us and play a golf with us as well over the next few weeks. And um I’m buzzing, guys. And thank you so much.
