We dig the instep of the trail foot in the right foot. What’s nice is you can actually set the brace for yourself. So, it takes away the lateral movement that gives you the doors stop that I’m trying to create for you guys. Every time I bump the hips forward a little bit, slow it down and get the handle moving in transition. To me, that’s the big one. [Music] [Applause] The anti-chunk video. the the worst thing in golf, hitting the perfect drive down the middle, sitting there 120, took a few minutes off to get to the next shot. Lay the sod over it, as my dad said, not farming. We got to be golfing, right? Yeah. You know what’s funny? I told you this, but when you when you told me what the issue was earlier, um, one thing about the hip bump that I want you to like really understand, when your right knee and your right hip move to the inside of the right foot, all my top players, I think of like Brian Stark, you know, I think like Cameron says, these are good players I’ve worked with over the course of time. If you put them on a monitor that measures where the low point is or measures the angle of attack, every time we shift the hips more to the left, the low point gets more forward. So, Naturally, I want you to know this about you. Your knees kind of go a little more out like this. Naturally, you look at me, you look at like Cameron Sis, one of my top players. He he we’re more like this. So, like we’re almost like have to p push the knee out to not be too pinched in. And that’s why we are a lot straighter with our feet like this. Some people wonder why we’re not like that. It’s just not comfortable. You know, we’re comfortable here. Now, when I watch you natural like this, Mhm. and this hips popped out there to the outside of this foot. I saw you on that one shift the hips over. The minute this knee and this hip got to the inside, your low point moves forward and that was pure. You can honestly say, right, I mean that the hip bump that was not something you were doing prior to hitting it. Yeah. Right. So, so your natural body shape made a world of difference. Just you consistency. You just got to keep practicing it. I you’re thinking of it just, you know, step into a shot. I’m like, what am I thinking about? That’s the one thing that I got to do. Well, you sure as hell don’t want to think about not chunking it, you know? Hey, I’m not trying. No, it’s like it’s like, well, what’s the system to not chunk it is what you want to be thinking about. I’m I’m for you like this. I’m I’m sitting there and I’m just like knowing what natural is for you. Pull that knee to the inside of the foot. Feel the pressure more on the inside of your foot. You know, we’re sitting here with a um what club is that right there? Nine. Perfect. Okay. Nine. Um if I if I was telling you weight distribution with a nine, I’m a good 60 on on the flat of my left, maybe even 65. I’m about 35 or 40% on the inside of my right. Nothing’s out here. Okay. And what happens with the knees that go this way, a little bowlegged, you get it’s natural to be on the outside of that right foot. So, just try to kick that weight more in. Feel like you have doors stops underneath the outside of your right foot. And that will help you with your low point when you guys get into a bunker. It’s a good thing for you to hear also, Jim, and great one for you, Greg. When you guys are in a fairway bunker, one of the coolest tips that I actually saw, I I I, you know, worked with a couple guys on the PGA tour that we used to do this. And what we do in the fairway bunker, a lot of people shuffle in the sand and they try to do that to get some balance, right? Well, here’s the bummer about that. You’re now lowering yourself an inch below the level of the surface. And if you’re not choking up an inch, chunking, it’s pretty darn easy to do. So, here’s what we do. We actually don’t dig the feet in. We dig the instep of the trail foot in, the right foot for you guys. Okay? Now, think about it. If I dig the inside of that trail foot in, we’ll be doing this on the course this afternoon. Practice a few of these. What’s nice is you can actually set the brace for yourself. So, it takes away the lateral movement because the sand’s at an angle that gives you the doors stop that I’m trying to create for you guys. Every time I bump the hips forward a little bit, I mean, essentially, you’re just sticking a couple doors stops outside the right side there. That’s what keeps this knee and that hip inside. Well, we were talking about the anti-chunk from, you know, 120. That’s it. That That’s it right there. So, you can do it with your setup. Bumping those hips moves the low point forward. Okay? And that’s really important. So, let’s just keep let’s keep it. Let’s just see a couple more of these. Just go through your process. Interesting though, because some people do have, you know, their legs are out like this. Some people have them more like this. I’m more like this. Cam’s more like this. Others do are like this. And that person will have to fight a little bit more to get that pressure to the inside of the right foot for a right-handed golfer. Yeah. But like see those are ball first. Yeah. Good, good, good, good. And so you just clip the ball first, div it later when you do those, you know, and you got a good swing. I told you you have a real nice swing. Just, you know, rhythm is always the glue that holds the golf swing together. So the rhythm gets off. It’s like, hey, you can try to do everything right and get fast rhythm and then nothing good happens, right? But for you, slow it down. Hip bump. Slow it down. and get the handle moving in transition. To me, that’s the big one. Yeah. And then like, you know, that’s that’s why I Let me grab this from you real quick. That’s why I do so many of these. I’m not even hitting the ball like this. I don’t even have to hit the ball like this. Here. Come over in front of me here. We got the uh I don’t want you to get clocked. Save you from the concussion. It is. Richard’s working on his transition. We’re working on Hey, up to the top together. Get the transition going with the handle first. Well, hey, if we just rip it up there with the hands, I don’t care what you try to do in the down swing, it’s just not going to it’s not going to work. So, patience going back will help you. Patience going back will help you uh and and and not will it’ll help you not get the long and for you, it’ll help you actually be able to transition with everything moving together. That’s that hammering the nail feeling that prevents the prevents the chunk, right? The early release. And yeah, buddy, there it is right there. little baby. Hey, all day with that one right there. Awesome. Awesome, bud. Hey, so let’s let’s let’s recap real quick. If we if we are a little out of sequence and we get the handle moving, but it’s not cut up to the body, that’s the one you hit well that just stays out to the right side. That one, you actually got the hands moving in front of your body. And that’s why you get that one yard draw line, right? With the same good contact. Good t good contact, hip bump, swinging the handle, getting it to be directly on line, having the sequence from the top be good. Making sure the hands and body are moving together, which for you, for a lot of people feels like they’re getting their hands moving ahead of their upper body. Y Okay, awesome. Awesome. Yeah. No, it’s good stuff, Richard. At Forzac Golf, we take a lot of pride in having developed some of the best and most consistent golf swings on the planet. We do this through simplicity. Do you have any recent videos for a too inside to out swing path? Seems like I handle drag which doesn’t help at all. I tried looking through your videos, but couldn’t find a specific one.
Can you touch on the weight transfer in the backswing with hip bump? I find my weight remaining on the lead side, specifically with driver, and the club is caught behind with the hips firing through/weight remaining on left side.
👏👍💪💯
oh yeah
Another cool video porzak team 👌🙌.. could we have an up to date driver video covering everything.
Should we have the same setup for long irons and driver?
Question mr porzak when your doing a big backswing do you feel your shoulder blades activated?
