[Music] are you thinking about coming to Ireland for your next golf holiday well if so where we are right now is an absolute treat for golf lovers we are at actually can you see the backdrop very iconic backdrop can you guess it it is Royal Dublin designed originally by Harry Colt and is held the Irish open six times that’s crazy six times I think Shane Larry went around here actually if I remember I think that’s someone was telling us yesterday on the course they like that you know that course Shane Larry so Shane Larry’s played this course I love that feel honored yeah very prestigious it’s also the second oldest golf course in Ireland and really is steeped with some history we were talking in the Pro Shop earlier on and found out some interesting facts which we’ll talk about more later on in this video so we’ve played a couple holes what’s your thoughts on the course and how it plays well just a pure links really I like you know the linkx vi you got the lynxy bunkers also you know we’re close to the Sea you know it’s not too windy at the moment but I can imagine on a day it’s windy I also I like the buggies the buggies are cool the buggies are very cool they really really cool so you know if it’s raining if you the winds if the rain’s coming sideways there doors are there to protect you I like that would you recommend this golf course to a high handicapper um yeah I still would because it’s fun golf you know don’t take it too seriously like if you have a bad hole you know you’re on holiday enjoying it you’re near the city center I would say yeah give it a go why not yeah I agree come and play the course come and have some fun you know there’s so much to do in Dublin and this course is a course that you should definitely play and put in your intinerary when visiting Ireland right so we’re out here at the 16th Royal Dublin quite a really short Par Four but we have this so this is where Christy okona Ridder cup Legend 10 consecutive Rider Cup appearances when Eagle birdie eagle in the carols International here at Royal Dublin that’s quite a fe we just played this hole and It’s Tricky the last three are very very tricky so some a bit of History here at Royal Dublin so Royal Dublin is filled with history and to prove that fact this toilet here is more than just a toilet it has a lot of history to it so in 1886 Michael Dyke Moran was born here and then he also went on to play the open in 1913 where he tied third place at Hoy Lake and that is a perfect example of how long this course has been here for very mature very aesthetic and full of history and culture before your game at Royal Dublin be sure to make use of the practice specific facilities with a driving range chipping green and putting green located on [Music] site before or after your round at Royal Dublin you will receive a warm welcome into their comfortable lounge with dining facilities which comes with a spectacular view whilst you relax so if you want to play this course Royal Dublin head over to your golf travel today to book your next golf break to Ireland [Music] oh
