Jhonattan Vegas admits Venezuelans aren’t known for golf and explains how he got started as a kid
it was one of those things that my dad grew up near a golf course and he kind of grew up catting at that place as a little kid and he you know picked up the game that way and you know when he had us you know we grew up near an hole golf course all you know owned by the old companies and you know we had access to a course and plus the love of my dad for the game you know put it together and we started playing which is odd because I mean obviously Venezuelans were not known for golf for being golfers so um you know uh but like I said I mean been blessed and uh you know here I am and was it true I read you with a broomstick and a rock is that part of the story yeah I mean I feel like as a kid I mean I was I would hit anything that I could find you know rocks broomstick everything i would grab anything that I could swing and I would do it so I felt like I was a you know a good athlete as a as a young kid so that’s kind of how you know things started yeah
