Could we see the US President Donald Trump in Aberdine at the end of the month? Well, it’s thought that the US president may be coming to open the second part of his golf course here in Bal Medi. It’s going to be called the Mloud Course after Maryanne Mloud, his mother who was from Storway. We last saw the president here in his presidential role in 2018. And then he was back in Aberdine in 2023 as they began work on the new part of his golf course. This afternoon, Police Scotland said that they are preparing for a significant police operation and the Scottish government have released a statement later this evening, too. They said that they are being briefed on a potential presidential visit. As of yet, there is no official confirmation of the president coming.
US President Donald Trump is set to visit Scotland later this month.
Police Scotland has confirmed that major preparations are under way ahead of the yet-to-be-announced visit.
It hasn’t been confirmed why Trump is making the trip Scotland, however, it comes ahead of the official opening of a second golf course in Aberdeenshire this summer.
