It’s almost like if you can have your “bad” shots still travel 60-70% of the distance and mostly forward you will be OK. But when bad shots are 3ft duffs and OB, you aren’t sniffing close to a good score. How hard can that be …?

This is awesome. I think it would do a lot people who are trying to break 80 some good to see that you in no way shape or form need to play perfect golf to shoot a decent score.
I shot 77 today and had 4 x 3 putt bogeys.
Hit one into the water too.
Pulled a bunch of shots.
Etc etc.

It is my goal to break 80 this year and this video gives me a lot of hope. Always like youd videos man!

I’ve watched your videos and I really appreciate them, but the one thing I CANNOT get past is how it looks like you’re swinging your club through molasses! Like trying to run in a dream.

If those were the worst shots of my round, I’d be a happy man.

I see /u/copagman, I upvote
Which course was this?

Thanks for sharing, that is so good to see. Sometimes I hate my home course being so tight and tough. Can’t get away with some shots.

Just another reminder that you don’t need a beautiful swing to break 80.

Great video, I enjoy watching these

I like this YouTuber. He seems pretty humble, and is more about the course than trying to make it about himself or be edgy like some YouTubers are nowadays.
I am glad he makes his swing work for him, but it’s hard to watch. It feels so violent, weird motions, and how he bends his knees is weird to see. But he makes it work which is kudos to him.

Ive always wondered, have you tried to fix that swing or do you want it to stay bad to make you unique on youtube?
Nice shooting! I shot an 82 this year with 6 three putts, can taste the 70s! Haha id trade my driver distance for your putting

I should save this and watch it before every round

“That was fucking horrendous.”
My favorite part.

What course was that? Great job overall. Your swing is a lot slower than mine is but it looks to be very effective, I think I might take a page out of your book and try slowing things down a bit as I’m scoring mid 90’s most of the time when I’m out on an 18 hole adventure.

What do these people use to film this stuff?

Predator Ridge is such a fun course. 👍

Great video! Would make it even more helpful as a training aid to see the bad shots immediately followed by the recovery from those bad shots (which I think is a huge part of the 90s->70s/80s journey).

Knowing where I go wrong and watching these vids makes me realize cutting out OB from tee shots is where I’m losing the most, but im not too far off. There’s so much more value to a flubbed shot that still goes forward.
Thanks for posting these as they are inspiring for someone trying to break 80.
