Lucas Glover SLAMS LIV Golfers: “I Don’t Want Them Back on the PGA Tour!”
🚨 Lucas Glover has had enough!
The 2009 U.S. Open champion and PGA Tour veteran pulls no punches as he takes a firm stand against LIV Golf defectors returning to the PGA Tour.
💥 In this explosive episode of his SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio show, Glover says he doesn’t want LIV players back—even if it means boosting TV deals or growing the sport. From Jon Rahm to Bryson DeChambeau, he believes those who left made their choice, and shouldn’t get a second shot without consequences.
But Glover doesn’t stop there—he also calls out the PGA Tour itself for “short-sighted” decisions, shrinking fields, and limiting young talent.
🔥 Is he right? Are LIV players entitled to return? Or is Glover defending what’s left of the PGA Tour’s integrity?

Veteran PGA Tour Pro and six-time winner Lucas Glover has made it clear he doesn’t believe LIV golf defectors should be allowed back onto the PGA Tour point.2 years after the PGA Tour and L IV Golf reached a so-called framework agreement aimed at reuniting the fractured world of men’s professional golf. A full resolution remains elusive, and Glover, 45, isn’t interested in seeing the rival league’s players return without consequences. Speaking candidly on his SiriusXMPJ tour radio show on Tuesday, Glover didn’t hold back. I don’t want to play with them. Me personally, he said, I don’t think they should be back here. I don’t want them here. They made their decision. Glover emphasized that while he doesn’t blame the players who chose the LIV path, they consciously walked away from the PGA tour and that choice should have lasting consequences. I don’t care why they left, but they left. He continued, “As someone who dreamed of playing on this tour, who’s poured 21 years of heart and soul into it, I don’t want someone who took the path of less resistance coming back to take a piece of my pie or the pie of these kids trying to make it now.” Currently ranked 31st in the FedEx Cup standings, Glover famously won the 2009 US Open and remains one of the tour’s most outspoken veterans. While he admits that stars like John Rom and Bryson Shambo returning would boost TV ratings and long-term media rights deals, he insists that financial incentives shouldn’t override principles. Sure, having them back would help our TV deal in 2030, Glover acknowledged. But does it truly help us? PGA tour members who now have equity in this tour to grow the sport by welcoming bad guys who walked out. I’m struggling with that. Glover’s strong opinions haven’t been limited to LIIV golf. Speaking to Golf Channel during this week’s John Deere Classic, he also called out the PGA Tour itself for what he described as short-sighted decision-making point. One of his biggest grievances, the tour’s recent moves to reduce field sizes and limit access to upand cominging players. I think everyone should have a voice. Everyone should be considered when decisions are made. He said, “Limiting access is not how you grow talent on the PGA Tour. Making fields smaller doesn’t increase competition. That’s just not true.” He went on to contrast the PGA Tours direction with other major sports leagues. Every other sport is expanding. More games, more teams, bigger playoffs. But we’re saying fewer players equals better competition. That’s a weak argument. We’re using pace of play as an excuse, and I just don’t buy it. Glover believes that if the PGA Tour truly wants to develop the next generation of golf stars, it needs to create more opportunities, not fewer. We should be creating room for young players to rise and for consistent veterans to keep competing. Shrinking the field works against that goal. With strong convictions and decades of experience behind him, Lucas Glover is unafraid to speak out, even when it means challenging both his former peers and his own tour.

I totally agree with Lucas!! They turned their backs on the Tour for greed !!! Now they want the best of both worlds!! So LIV with the fact your not wanted back, play your team golf !!!!
U should thank LIV players huckleberry
They made the PGA mafia find their check book. They’ve been ripping you guys off forever.
Hey golf news media. How about doing the work to get the actual media clips of players talking or on video? I don’t need some AI bot reading to me like I’m a 4 year old needing a bedtime story.
Glover is 100% sour grapes. Wants large fields for the competition, but doesn't want the best players in the world coming back from LIV because it takes from his pie. Make up your mind.
