How is that not unplayable. You normally get a drop if there is a risk of injury.

this was such a weird decision. AT MOST he would have gotten that out maybe 5 meters. And then he would have to hit to the green with a wedge anyway. So just taking the unplayable and then hitting to the green with a wedge for the same amount of strokes gives you the same result. But now he LOST a stroke by missing the ball and still being in the same position? Weird decision to go for it
He potentially risked his career with that shot. A wrist is very easily broken and far more difficult to repair.
