Lucas Glover opposes LIIV Golfer’s return amid PGA Tour merger stalemates. Six-time PGA Tour winner Lucas Glover has openly opposed the return of LIIV Golf players to the PGA Tour amidst stalled merger talks. Speaking on SiriusXMPGA Tour radio, Glover stated, “I don’t want to play with them. Personally, I don’t think they should be back here.” Glover criticized LIIV Golfers for leaving the PGA Tour and taking what he called the easy way out. Having devoted 21 seasons to the PGA Tour, he believes LIIV players shouldn’t benefit from the tour after their departure. Though advised to set aside emotions and focus on growing the sport, Glover admitted it remains difficult given his personal investment.
