(Shenandoah) — The 28th annual Shenandoah Medical Center Foundation Golf Event raised $34,000 on June 5th at the Shenandoah Community Golf Course.

The sold-out tournament featured 36 teams, numerous business sponsors, and support from SMC staff and foundation board members. Proceeds will benefit SMC patients through scholarships for local students pursuing healthcare careers and grants for hospital programs and equipment.

“We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support,” said Foundation Director Haley Weis. “This event strengthens local healthcare and brings people together for a meaningful cause.”

Local sponsors included SWIFT, Bank Iowa, Edward Jones-Dustin Christiansen, KMA, Hy-Vee, Fareway and others.
