the Blue Jays and the Guardians ready to go here in the second game of three this weekend series from the Rogers Center here in downtown Toronto and as you can tell it is Minecraft day here at the ballpark how’s your Minecraft knowledge here come the Blue Jays winners of three in a row kevin Gosman the Blue Jays are the home whites this afternoon an extra day of rest we talked about the 53 pitch innings so the Blue Jays flipped the order gave Bassin the start in front of Gossman so Gossman on an extra day gossman’s two-2 to Quan hit in the air left center field dalton Vo ranging towards the gap but Nathan Lucas the left fielder is under it he’ll make the catch one out and the fast ball freezes him 96 at the knees two down good indication is a good fast ball from Kevin Gosman here early to the first two batters he started off speed and really lulled Jones a little bit with the slower pitches and then just pounds 96 in there all four well Santana didn’t have any issues there but the average eye Matt I don’t think we’ll ever see what some of these hitters see sometimes when they pick it up so another good at bat for Santana and the two out walk brings up Kyle Manzardo dh today batting cleanup and a swing and a miss got him to chase that splitter down and away gossman strikes out a pair in a scoreless top of the first and they will see some high octane fast balls from Gavin Williams two and two that RA over five he had a rough one last time out as well much like Kevin Gosman did just two innings against the Minnesota Twins bobette digging in to the righty batters box as we get set bobette teing off on the first pitch of the game and there it is his first home run of the season two starts in a row gavin Williams gives up a home run on the first pitch he throws and they’re as happy for him as anybody this is a guy used to hitting home runs and it took a while but he didn’t wait long here today struck him out looking that was a really nice breaking ball from Gavin Williams and locked him up 01 swinging a liner right field base hit for Santandere noel cuts it off before the corner santandere stops at first he’s got a one out single high drive to right hit well and it’s off the wall noel could not come up with it santandere around to third on a double by Springer here’s the payoff pitch swing and a miss he struck him out and a big out for Gavin Williams yeah he needed that he needed to pick his defense up a little bit and the big rig blows it by him to end the inning a leadoff homer for Toronto as the Blue Jays on top one to nothing 3-2 pitch is outside ball for Nathan Lucas on board here working a leadoff walk runner goes swing and a miss throw out in a second by Hedgi in time it’s a strike him out throw him out double play as Toronto checks the replay to see if they want to challenge yeah that ball was down in the zone hedgi got up and threw a seed he got him right on the leg before he could get the foot in there a nice swing there by Andres Jimenez who had a couple of hits last night and he’s got a two out base hit here in the bottom of the second jimenez is going to try it and he is in there safely and for Andre Jimenez that’s his ninth steel in 10 tries and he and Hedges you could see that remember former teammates obviously buddies and some smiles being exchanged well high ball four so he is going to face Vlatty after a second walk of the inning there go the runners swing and a miss he went up the ladder and struck him out with 100 miles an hour five strikeouts for Williams he keeps getting into and out of jams one- nothing Jays after two one-two pitch line sharply a one hopper to first fielded by Jimenez but it knocks him down and he spins as he gets up and throws to first for the out cleveland Guardians fans have seen that for a long time andre Jimenez hanging in there to field 103 off the bat payoff pitch to Hedges lifted to shallow right sprinting in Springer jimenez is waving him back the second baseman makes the over the shoulder catch two outs line drive and a base hit left field and that ball was off the plate as a split the magic wand yeah that’s exactly what it is so they get their first hit in high in the air left field almost right at Nathan Lucas moves to his left then backs up and makes the catch to end the inning the 1-1 lined right side ball bouncing into the corner santandere races around first picked up by Noel in the corner and Anthony Santandere into second with a leadoff standup double anthony Santandere hammered that ball down the line he kind of stood in the batters box for a second didn’t expect that thing to be a fair ball but might have bounced right on the line and he ends up at second base with a big leadoff double the Blue Jays already have five hits three extra base hits now they got six hits as Santandere will reverse course and go to third on the single by Springer oh he threw him a nasty breaking ball the same pitch he struck him out with first time up he went right back to it and got him again and ball four to load the bases for Nathan Lucas that’s the third walk given up by Williams so six hits including two doubles and a homer three walks but only one run so far boy it feels like they’ve had Williams on the ropes from the moment this game began again the 3-2 and it is ball four no swing says CB Buckner down at third and the walk will force in a run blue Jays just scored a run they’re up two to nothing lined to deep center and there is Baro turned one way turned back the other way gauzeman smiling and that’s out number one and he strikes out Manzardo for the second time two nothing Toronto here’s John Kenzie Noel who struck out his first time up bounce to the right side what a stop by Guerrero and he feeds Gosman for the out man oh man gold glove shining for Vladimir Guerrero Jr who sprawled to make the play two to nothing going to the bottom of the fifth and Steven Vote has gone to his bullpen for left-hander Colby Allard and John Schneider is countering with a pinch hitter as Ernie Clement is going to bat for Addison Barger so we’ll keep an eye on that fair ball down the left field line and Clement indeed comes through as a pinch hitter he’s got a double and a fly ball pretty well tagged left center clement going back he will tag Jones the catch and Clement easily into third so it’s not a bunt but it works like one and you see Clement clapping his hands at third a straw got him an extra 90 ft one out ernie Clement on third the pitch to Tyler Heinman hit well center field right at Nolan Jones camped under it clement tagging jones makes the catch clement to the plate the throw bounces off the mound and Ernie Clement dives in head first zack fly for Tyler Heinman blue Jays extend the lead three nothing Toronto sixth inning at Roger Center the Blue Jays leading the Guardians 3 nothing kevin Gosman rocking on the mound and the O2 looked like he went around and Adam Beck says he did that’s a strikeout number eight this afternoon for Gossman grounded up the middle to his right jimenez and he’ll throw him out quan retired two down two-2 again right on the corner at 98 what a pitch by Gau and a ninth strikeout for Kevin Gosman six scoreless innings from the righty to help the Blue Jays to a three nothing lead three nothing Jays eighth inning schneamman’s lined out twice to center the new reliever for the Blue Jays the right-hander Chad Green there’s a ball drilled deep right field springer looking up and it is gone to Souvenir City and that is his third home run and that is Cleveland’s second hit in the game and they’re down three to one here in the eighth inning jimmy Garcia on to try to get the final three outs line drive and a base hit right field for Steven Quan three straight breaking ball that’s amazing yeah it really is strike three called Anthony off at first he bluffed to move towards second it’s ball four and now you’ve got two on and one out and now the go ahead run will come to the plate for Cleveland and now the one two and a swing and a miss to get them two down ball four and they are loaded down in the dirt the bases are loaded for Daniel Schnean swung out and blasted high deep to right gone how about that a grand slam to right by Danielne oh what a celebration awaiting him in the first base dugout and the Guardians stun the sellout crowd and lead it five-3 all hopes now rest on the shoulders of Emanuel Claus to try and steal one here in Toronto the 2-2 swung on lifted in the air third baseman Gabrielle Aras near the line makes the catch ball game what a comeback win and the Blue Jay fans are booing and Daniel Schneman almost singlehandedly carries the Guardians to an improbable five-3 comeback win in Canada

  1. I went to use the bathroom at the start of the Top of the 9th, came back, and was like… 😳
That was a demoralizing loss and I hate the Guardians. 😂🤣😂🤣

  2. I would HATE to be a Blue Jays fan leaving the stadium early at 9th 2 outs, to get a head start on exiting crowds, thinking they won. Only to check your phone 10 minutes later and discover they lost😅😅 Checks Highlights

  3. The reason I stopped being a Blue Jays Fan. Now I'm a Dodgers fan because of a certain blue woman…

  4. John schneider is a train wreck. Why was Barger hitting 6th and Heineman 8th? Barger should be in the minors. He has done NOTHING. Schneider lost this game by bringing in Garcia. Then he left him in for 32 pitches with little rest over the last 4 games. What a dope. He should have left Fluharty in for another inning and used Green in the 9th. The Jays offense is anemic. Their 6-9 hitters are all pathetic.

  5. Tired of Cleveland's early game silence and late inning runs so far this year. Hopefully they start crushing pronto-like next game.

  6. Don't be upset Jays fans. Ramirez is out with an ankle sprain and Schneeman got hot to pick up the slack. That's how we do things here on Cleveland.

  7. The Guardians seemed to have all of their hopes gone, having been domianted by Gausman's pitching and the bats never coming to life.
Until Schneemann started this amazing comeback!

  8. Steven Kwan is statistically and subjectively one of the top 5 most talented invaluable players in the big leagues.

  9. Will the Jay's ever get good relievers? Poor Kevin gausman. They should have left him in. They should leave the starters in for the entire game. Then we might, might have a chance this year.
