Started golfing more regularly about 4 months ago when I was in Okinawa and have stayed really into it ever since. Got back to Alaska and bought a set of Callaway XRs and broke them in today at my local Army post golf course. Clubs aren’t anything fancy but I love them so far.

This is definitely my favorite way of golfing. I know I’m not inventing a new way to play and I’m not the first, but being able to play at my own pace and think through my next shot was super beneficial to my game I think. I will say that I am pretty worn out, ended 18 with about 15k steps

Still lost 12 balls though. Don’t think that’s changing anytime soon

  1. I’m loving this teebox trend we got going in the reddit

How many balls did you play? Might as well get the practice in and play 2.

  3. I have been golfing for 20 years, and this is still my favorite way to golf. Last week I shot a 92 and only lost one ball… still my favorite way to golf!

Such a great experience, glad you enjoyed it! Awesome excuse to be out in the wilderness

As someone who grew up golfing in the Midwest, I really miss being able to walk and carry my own bag. It’s nearly impossible in Florida to find anywhere that even allows you to walk with how the courses are laid out.
